  1. Hello, since the update I've never received credits for the comms/crystals that were taken from my chars. Is there something I need to do to get the credits? Or did the developers mess something up?
  2. Oh alright. Thank you for all the info. I might actually consider doing it now. Thanks again.
  3. Wow, that's pretty terrible. If they charge 90 cartel coins, that would make it very easy to transfer, but I'm pretty sure I'd still lose all of my strongholds, my legacy perks, and various other things that took ages of farming to get. I don't know if I'd be willing to do that for even that cheap.
  4. Hello. I'm an old player, just re-subscribed for the first time in about a year and a half to check out the new content. However, I've been trying to queue for Warzones on the POTF server for a few days now, and not a single one has popped (Lowbie or 65). Granted, I usually play early in the morning (8am-12pm) when I get home from work, but yesterday I was on from 8am to 4pm EST (on a Sunday), I was queued the entire time and still didn't get get a single warzone pop. Is the system broken? Or is the game just that dead? If it is because of lower population, Is it just my server? (Prophecy of the Five) I'm worried that this might be because my server is dead, in which case the only thing I can do is transfer, which isn't entirely fair because I've been building my characters and my content for years now, and if I have to transfer just to participate in Warzones, I will probably just de-activate my account for good. That's not a threat, and I'm not being dramatic, but it just doesn't make sense to continue to play a dead server when I run out of solo content. Thank you for any help on this matter.
  5. Although I feel most statements about how good a class/spec is at DPS is based mostly on speculation, and yes I think the game is pretty fairly balanced; it is not perfectly balanced. Each class/spec has it's own abilities with it's different strengths/weaknesses, and no two classes of any one faction are exactly the same. There are in fact differences. The game is NOT *perfectly* balanced and some classes (DPS-wise) are simply better than others. Perhaps not by large margins, but different none the less. However, that said, the margins by which each class does either better or worse than the others is *largely* overshadowed by the skill and gear of the person using that class. When it comes down to it, what matters most is the skill of the player and the gear they're wearing. The class alone will not keep a person with the right skill and gear from performing well. Being in a 16 man HM Progression Guild (Lethal Synergy), I find that the highest DPS classes tend to be of the two classes that are exclusively DPS = Marauders and Snipers. Many of the good raiders that I know (even outside of the guild) seem to agree on that notion. However, a good DPS Sorc or Merc (or any class for that matter) can easily do higher numbers than a Sniper or a Marauder if they are better raiders or simply have better gear. BTW: just because you pull aggro after a tank dies, that does not mean you have higher DPS. If I remember correctly, Powertechs do not have a threat dump ability. If your fellow DPS'ers are dropping their threat as they are supposed to, you SHOULD pull the boss after the tank dies, even if your DPS is lower. Not trying to knock you dude, but it's simply an invalid conclusion.
  6. I'm right there with ya. I play a Sorc, Jug, and a Sniper. And Sorc is by far the hardest class to play. It's great for healing and AOE which is what a support class does, but unless you're heavily DPS specced where you can put out more damage than your opponent, 1v1's are damn near impossible. The reason being is A. the amount of channeled/timed abilities and B. The amount of Disrupts that each class has. The only thing a Sorc has defensively outside of the bubble and sprint are healing spells. If you have to cast healing spells to keep yourself alive, You're already dead; you just don't know it yet (unless maybe you're healing specced). Once you go defensive, chances are you're not going back to offensive; and even if you do get to that point (probably because you are in fact healing specced), you'll probably lack the mana/dps to do anything offensively except hope someone else comes in to rescue you. Pushback and disrupts make going defensive and fighting in 1v1's impossible. Low armor rating + Low health + Pushbacks/disruptions? Also keep in mind that people tend to target Sorc's sooner than other classes because of their High AOE DPS and Healing Ability; As well as being pretty weak defensively.
