  2. Gunship accuracy will include attempts to hit at close range with primary weapons as well, so a pilot that spends more time on that and less time in scope will always have lower accuracy numbers on gs.

  5. Assuming you could queue for these matches exclusively, and there are in fact engine maneuvers and cooldowns available, I could see this being my new space combat fix.
  6. The XW and TF games were great for the story and the ambiance. When you consider the actual quality of play available, it was really pretty crappy compared to what you can get in GSF. There was almost no class variation in craft compared to what you get in GSF, and fights devolved into endless circle turns with minor throttle adjustments and basically no comparable reset to GSF's engine cooldowns. If you could somehow manually manage a maneuver like K-turn or P-dive within the flight model, that'd be one thing, but you couldn't. Of course, the people that want "pure dogfighting" on these forums seem to actually just want the endless circle turning fest that XvT offered, so maybe I shouldn't be too surprised.
  7. This logic works for me. Updated. As a general note to future posters: If you're not going to use a "standard" method of claiming ship type specific records like requisition or rewards tab, please note that with the record. When I update these I do them quickly and might miss stuff like this.

  9. I think the vast majority of cases it is legitimate lag, but I have met one, one person who was seen to say that he used it deliberately "because bombers need a missile break"
  10. The only kernel of truth to the whingeing is that it is easier to set up a gunship/bomber wall than to counter it, but again it's more of an issue of having unreliable teammates. Matchmaking that is backed by a larger cross-server player pool should help immensely with that.
