  1. But it isn't. Choosing between no mat. storage and the poorly implemented one, no storage is a way better option. At least, you don't have to take out your mats from the mat. storage into character's inventory first before placing them into the legacy storage that way.
  2. It's not free, you know. i.e. more grind, the very thing people hate and have asked NOT to add. Why should we be happy again ?
  3. My subscription runs out in 3 days and if the situation on Live would be similar to that I've seen on PTS, I won't re-sub.

  5. I've run around with my Lightning & Madness Sorcs… and everything feels completely broken. Broken past the point I want to play the game. And hard ! It's a game not a 2nd job ! 1) Level sync system is beyond ridiculous. I have a lvl 75 character fighting lvl 17 enemies (Dromund Kaas' heroics; I do them every day on Live therefore I use them for measure) and have to engage a full-fledged fight ?! And die several times ? Is this still an RPG or not ? Why ? I'm lvl 75 ! They should die just by running past me ! What is the point of playing the game and getting levels past lvl 20 now if I can't see/feel the power my character gain with each level ?! 2) Volt Rush still useless piece of junk. Endless Offensive + Element Convention can help for a little bit, so little it's literally irrelevant, but it's gated with the Operation wall. And I can't see how any other set can be used. Why add them at all ? 3) Force Storm, poor Force Storm, do nothing in this patch. In lightning it can be used to power up Chain Lightning. But the Chain Lightning itself do little to none damage. Death Field — do nothing. If you have Slow Mercy, Death Field can be used to spread Demolish and finally do some good AOE damage. So. The only way to have AOE damage as a Sorcerer now is to play in Madness with the Slow Mercy tactical ? So much of a "play how you want" I can sense in here… So so much. And at the same time : ↓ 4) No sets for Madness ? No, really, there is none ! And why do you like slow effects on everything that much ? Maybe it's because I don't PvP but I see no reason to have any slow effect in the game at all. 5) At the same time, Unnatural Preservation does not scale well. That dribs and drabs it heals now can't save anyone. And I don't even want to start talking about Resurgence and Dark Heal ! They could save the character before, I could even heal a party member for a small bit to keep him alive. Now, in 6.0, you can toss them away from the skills bar. And with the bots heal got nerfed, it's hard to survive now. Why did you think harder is better and especially why change the old contend - I can't imagine. But the game is far behind the "being fun" point. My 3rd character is Assassin but I don't even try. The only thing I can say is : I can't find neither set nor tactical I can use. And I don't understand how anyone can use something you offer for the Assassins. Plus, the new ability even more of a joke compared to the Sorcs' one. And finally the conquest's objectives are beyond achievable. With that ungodly expensive crafting, that part of the game is dead.

  7. Eh ? "Cool". Now, how about making the prices significantly lower ? I have no idea how to get 3000 fragments, let alone 5000 and more. Just the small glance at the vendors and prices makes me want to drop the game right now. There is no point to stay if that would be the game's future.
  8. We must be playing 2 completely different games. All of my 3 Sorcerers keep getting tank gear for 99% of the time from any source.
  9. Everything's clear but... the gear's icons looks smaller ? Especially inside the Outfit Designer. The whole Outfit Designer's window looks like it's 2x smaller compared to the one on the live servers.

  11. All of my 3 Sorcs (Lightnin/Madness/Corruption) got tank gear 99% of the time from all of the sources. Guess, that's how it works. At least for now.
  12. Yep. If I recall correctly, it's because the Cartel Coins/Market/Collections systems can't see the difference between Live servers and PTS. Therefore, if you'll spend cartel coins on PTS, they would disappear on live too since they are all from the same pool. Similar how the lvl 60/65 tokens works. For the tokens we've got that "Do NOT use Outlander, Start at level 60/65 Tokens on PTS!" thread pinned in the PTS subforum. For the collections etc. they've simply turn that systems off for PTS.
  13. just for the record… Then, why are you here in the first place ? And you wouldn't ! Don't you understand what the PTS server is ? The game is in early alpha-preview-test-something state ! The help would be written and put in game sometime around October 20, 2 days before the launch. Nobody would create an in-game help during the testing stage we are on now ! That's why you have rely on forum posts. So, please, stop going into each and every one thread with your "no in-game help" spam, thank you very much. And, to answer the topic's question, no, I don't know anything about the amplifiers. And… I DON'T CARE ! Amplifiers are one of the worst ideas of the 6.0. If you won't get rid of them before launch… well, I just won't going to pay attention to their existence.
  14. Well, not quite. You've chosen the only logical ones. Nobody would use Empowered Restorer set with the Slow Mercy tactical — it's pointless. And, yet again, Endless Offensive + Elemental Convection is the only player's option that can make Volt Rush be usable. That lead us to OK. So, if I don't want to specialize in AoE I shouldn't use Volt Rush at all ? Not even put in on my action bar ? Is that your new philosophy ? Well then, what a new expansion can offer to me if the only new thing is for a different specialization ? And even if I do, what I suppose to do while collecting the set pieces and tactical ? Or in 7.0+ (assuming all the doom predictions are false and we would get 7.0) ? Are you going to remade the abilities again ? (That is one of the reasons I left WoW, Blizzard can't stop from remaking classes in every single expansion. ) Won't it be late then ? It's not like you can tune the numbers and suddenly everyone's happy. The new ability is a joke. Get rid of the 10 sec. cooldown between Force Storm procs Lightning Storm and there won't be any need for the Volt Rush + Endless Offensive set + Elemental Convection tactical ! Just do this already, there is no need for some new complicated ability, “charge” system or not. I'm sorry, but abilities should be for players to use, not for the developers to praise their ego. Valkorion's Phase Teleport would be so better choice compared to the Volt Rush. Accompanied by the ability to freely mark the location for the Phase Walk and/or mark several locations for the Phase Walk and jump between them. And, for Force's sake, can you, please, PLEASE, stop using Force Speed as an opener for various DPS abilities ?! Does nobody use it, you know, to run faster or something ? Can't you chain damage dealing abilities to the damage dealing/boosting abilities and utility abilities to the utility abilities ?
  15. 3000 tech. fragments + 1 mil. credits per item from a new vendor ? Are you trying to force people into buying credits or something ?
