  1. Just on looks, any Sith lord/Darth/evil person in the star wars universe. Also link a picture unless they are well known. I personally think Darth Nihilus.
  2. I wanted to but as I started thinking about it, there are so many Star Wars songs that I coudn't do it.
  3. I'm intrested to know what everyones favourite Star Wars song is. There are so many good ones. It can be from any movies or from TOR or any other game/show as long as it is Star Wars. Try to post a video of it if possible. I'll start off, for me it is across the stars:
  4. Can you explain in detail how the rest system works? Are the only effects while rested earning double xp or are there other effects? Also how is the rested state and how long you are in a rested state determined?
  5. I was wondering with Legacies spanning only one server but both factions, Is that suppose to encourage people to roll on both sides on the same server? I had my Imperial and Republic characters on different servers since I want to be playing both but at the same time I don't want to be battling my friends on my other characters in PvP. Joining 2 sides of the same war and battling your guild mates from your other faction characters seems pointless. I don't understand how this works with pvp. Do they expect us to roll both factions on the same server to unlock these legacy benefits?
  6. I tried kiting them back but after a certain point, it breaks the combat area and I'm removed from combat and they just return to where they originally are. When I harpooned one, the other runs up and gets into melee range with me.
  7. In the mission "The Battle for Corellia", I can't beat Rakton's elite guards. When you confront Rakton and then he goes cloaked and you have to kill his 2 elite guards. I keep trying this over and over but can't seem to get it. I'm a level 50 Vanguard who always closes in and fights at melee range, but they have knockbacks and keep using them over and over again so I can't get into range. On top of that, I try fighting them from range but they just keep healing each other. I've tried focusing on one and then worrying about the other but I can't manage to kill one. Whichever one I focus on gets self-healed and healed by his ally. I've tried this with every companion but I can't get it. Is there some sort of trick to this? How did you other troopers beat them? Also don't spoil the story about Rakton or any spoilers at all please.
  8. Hard to say how I will feel in the future, but as of right now, I'm hooked indefinately.
  9. Are changes going to be made to the crew skills and market to help balance the crafting? Some crew skills seem much harder to make credits on than others.
  10. Thanks for the replies everyone, I guess for now I'm just going to stop crafting untill I hit level 50. I started grinding up crafting in hopes that I could make more money in the long run but I guess it just wasted all my credits. Guess the best way to get credits is grind heroics/space missions/flashpoints/etc.
  11. I think this game is terrific, a little buggy but nothing terrible imo. But I think it's funny how people who say how terrible the game is like to say how it will go f2p. I highly doubt it will anytime soon but f2p isn't necessarily a bad thing, some people sonsider it to be the "mark" of a dying game, but if they have other ways to make money, why does it matter? I am a huge fan of the game, but I don't see how going f2p is a bad thing. I'd rather not have to pay a monthly subscription even if I'm willing to.
  12. I am a level 46 Vanguard and outright broke, I need some serious help on making money. The money that I make from missions gets spent too quickly, I haven't been able to buy the skills from the last few levels, most of my companions are in their starting gear because I can't afford anything else. Crafting seems to be a big drain of money for me. I have armstech, salvaging, and investigation right now and it costs more to get the materials for the armstech weapons then they will sell for. I always try to sell them on the market but they won't sell so I end up having to sell them for dirt cheap prices to the npcs. I just finished grinding all my crew skills to 400 and I still am not making a profit. Granted, I do have a lot of crafting materials in my inventory but I never seem to have the right amount to make anything profitable. I also have spent a good amount of credits on companion gifts, probably too much but I wanted to get my standing up. I see people complaining how they have so many credits that there is nothing left to buy, I don't know what I am doing wrong. Anybody have any tips?
  13. First of all, let me say that this has intense spoilers from both the Darth Bane and Darth Plageuis Book(s). Read at your own risk. So after having read all the Bane books and just finishing the Plageuis book, I was wondering what people thought of who was more powerful and who would win in a fight. I have a feeling that the majority will say Plageuis, but I disagree with that. Sure Plageuis was almost immortal, but he never really did anything extraordinary in combat. He was a political genius but was injured pretty badly by in my opinion, not much more than a gang. He also defeated Tenebrous while he was preoccupied with a world falling around him. Sidious killed him in his sleep so I guess we can't say whether or not he was more powerful than Sidious, but I don't think Plageuis would have stood a chance. Politically, he was a genius, but not a great warrior. Then on the other hand, you have Bane who, pretty much single handedly defeated hundreds if not thousands of Jedi and Sith. He took down some of the best sith lords of the time down in one on one combat, I'd say he is much more powerful than Plageuis. Not as wise, but more powerful.
  14. Yes Terrific game, espeically for such an early released game.
