We love seeing players participate in and enjoy Galactic Starfighter, but the current reward amounts are beginning to lead to an increase in players not actively participating in matches. Tech Fragments from [WEEKLY] Galactic Starfighter are now 850 (down from 1000)" I give up! This is the best they can do to help then it really is clear that they don't care. They are actually taking away from us. Also, I got a warning for "communicating" with one of said offenders after the match. Apparently, it's harassment to tell other people how to play GSF the right way. Then again customer service was probably right. Once a match is over it's over I guess. To think about it I was a little petty and seems that all the reporting that we do does not amount to anything. Waste of time. I've decided (and probably you the 6 others who are here) to just not worry about the parkers and self-destructors. Bioware does not care neither should I.

So what you guys are saying is that inflation is fairly flat though getting a fairly reliable measure would be kinda tough?

Has anyone seen any graphs somewhere about inflation rates in any of the US servers? I'm just curious to see if anyone's come up with a reasonable account of what the value of $1m credits back then (say exactly 2 years ago) as opposed to today. ?

Man, a Commander for a Baron is a real hard sell unless somebody is really looking to complete the set and has an extra Baron which is highly unlikely. At the time when they were available, the Baron was much much harder to get then the Commander. In the beginning, Baron required Social X (took A LOT of pugging esseles pre GF) while the Commander was just VIP access. Even during 1.1 - 1.2, I think the Baron cost twice than the Commander as an outright purchase. Baron's were probably $2 or $2.5 million and that was really a lot of credits at the time. The Commander is the most plain looking of them all really. That yellow of the Baron has a much much bolder look to it. Heck, they'll probably release a black one next...

No, actually the first three: Revan, Fatal Alliance, and Deceived are almost required reading cause it set's up the story. Oh and also the SWTOR comics too. I'd suggest going in that order btw. I suggest you not reading and instead listen to the audio books. Marc Thompson (did perhaps all Star Wars books) narrates and with the production almost most sounds (sabers, blasters, ships, aliens, everything) like the cutscenes. If you've seen the SWTOR sacking of coruscant trailer (the one where Malgus rams a ship into the Jedi Temple), the events that lead up, concurrent and after that happened are in the book Deceived. You will really know what's behind Malgus' motivations in the game. As far as the Revan book, it bridges KOTOR 2 and SWTOR. There's a side story line in SWTOR that will make a heck of a lot more sense if you read Revan the book first. Annihilation, though, kinda maybe can be a spoiler since the events happen after some of the class storylines end and a major plot detail is based on what happens at the end of the Jedi Knight (maybe Agent and Mara too, I don't know) story line. Listen to the Audio books.

You should start with what the NVidia Geforce experience sets for you. You never know, it might place you at max everything to begin with.

I have a GTX 660 and I can run everything on Max/Ultra and hitting 80-90fps consistently at 2560x1440 around the planets. I use the built in fps counter (used fraps for a short time but it's really the same overall) and I notice 100+ every once in a while. The Fleet, WZ's and 16 OPS are a different story though and you'll see times where you dip into the 30's at the heaviest of times. I think the bigger performance improvement comes from the processor. I'm running a 4770k OC'ed at 4.6 . I don't see the difference in after using the Geforce experience optimal settings since I had all mines maxed out anyway.

You know at this point, if you can get 25m now from someone just take it. I have a Baron (way back from when you still needed Social X) and by gosh I have a creeping feeling that pretty soon they're gonna have something that's really close to it on the cartel market. They already put out a Green one and the Red is coming for sure... Heck it might even be a true 2 seater.

Let me tell you, no matter what how much hardware (reasonable hardware, I haven't seen SWTOR played on a 12 core Xeon) you throw at SWTOR there will always be parts that will dip at around 40fps. Here's my specs: i7 4770k at OC'ed at 4.6 GTX 660 (borrowed a 780 just to see and there's maybe 5fps difference) 256 Samsung Pro SSD 32Ram on win 8.1 pro Native resolution is 2560x1440 (I have a high end screen) 60down/10up cable internet I'm averaging at around 60ish most normal but again, there are parts that will dip me to the low 40ish even in some 16 man ops let alone the fleet. Also, forget SLI or Crossfire on SWTOR, it's not officially supported and yes you can find a way to make it work but there's always something that will change and screw it all up. It really comes down to the CPU in the end.

I was laughing when I saw the "Special Snowflake" tittle. Easily the best title by far for forum folks, especially the collectors edition freaks out there lol hahahahahhaa!
