  1. Hey guys! We are a trio of former raiders coming back to the game in preparation for 4.0. Some notes about us: *We were the leadership for a progression guild in TOR from launch until a few months after 2.0. *We have a massive amount of MMO raiding experience between us. Since leaving TOR originally we’ve stayed busy in WoW and FFXIV. I myself have been a progression raider since mid-vanilla WoW. *As we are returning, we are currently leveling and gearing up all relevant toons. *I play a Gunslinger (my only 60 currently), Sniper, Vanguard, Marauder, and will shortly have a Sentinel. I can tank or dps. *Our second, Kournelius , plays Guardian (is 60) and Jugg. He is as reliable a tank as there is. *Our third plays every class under the sun. He can fulfill any role you need him to. He mostly plays a Shadow (tank) and Commando (healer) and their mirrors. *As our Guardian wants to be a “good guy” (which makes no sense, as you can be a dark side republic) we main Republic, but are looking for a place to place our Empire alts and raid on them. *We are easy going, and tend to keep things light when we play despite giving our complete focus to the task. We like to have our fun while taking names, after all! *We're looking to do all content currently in-game. We aren't picky about "needing" a top tier guild or anything like that. If you're progressing in current content still, that's just as fine for us.
  2. Agreed that there is zero way to avoid it not being an inconvenience for someone. But, you would think they'd be smarter than to run the sale when most are at work. Or, at the very least, running these sales a second time during non-work hours.
  3. Honestly, this is incredibly disappointing. I figure we are getting these sales as an incentive to "stay loyal" or as a reward for staying, instead of going to ESO. Thanks for rewarding us when the majority of us could not get in-game. The only things I was remotely interested in (Valiant armor and Treek) were on sale while I was at work. Thanks.
  4. Sorry, but this is just flat out false. No features are locked. The only things that are would be extra heroes, increased inventory space, and costumes. You can also buy some potions that increase rarity of your drops and xp gains, but these are not features.
  5. I work 50-60 hours a week (software developer) and I have more time to game now than I did in University. Time management is your friend.
  6. Sorry, but if your guild is gullible enough to fall for this - many guilds know who this guy is, he's tried 5 times now on my guild, failing every time in hilarious fashion - you are way too lax with your guild controls and probably need to re-think the structure of your guild.
  7. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=640005 My guild was "attacked" last night - hilariously, I might add. This guy is an absolute idiot. I don't understand how people fell for this, but we had fun at his expense, just for all of you that last something to him.
  8. I would very much like to see some parses of yours in this spec and in the normal marksmen.
  9. Your entirely credibility (not that you have any to begin with) goes out the window when you prove a basic lack of knowledge about the class. Nice job backing up all of your baseless assumptions with fact, by the way. You are the personification of ignorance. Take it easy.
  10. You seriously can't be helped. I guess Slick Shooter doesn't add crit, right? Yes, using something "on cooldown" means to use it as soon as it comes up. You're arguing Burst Volley doesn't matter. For 1 talent point, what other talent that you take over that is going to give you 30 energy every 45 seconds and 3.33% static alacrity? You say you can just gear to "factor it out". That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Even if you wanted to gear Alacrity that high, then BV would just stack on top of that and give you even more benefit. I don't know who taught you to play MMO's and to value talents, but they did a horrible job. You -have- to be a troll. Nobody is this helpless.
  11. What you cannot seem to comprehend is that Orbital Flyby, even without the 2set bonus from pvp, hits for well over 10k. It is your single hardest hitting ability, EVEN AS SINGLE TARGET. (for raiding) For pvp, one tick of it near a door or node far eclipse any damage you can do with that energy. Sharpshooter does and should get the 15% buff in the 2nd tier of the Sab tree. We also have the shortest cast time, and shortest cooldown of any spec. You are out of your mind if you refuse to use Flyby because you think it's solely useful in an aoe situation. You are ignorant and will remain ignorant. Good day.
  12. Your father is an idiot. You get enough +crit and +critdmg talents from SS to make Surge more than worthwhile. Everyone uses arithmetic to back this up, except you. Burst Volley's alacrity alone is worth 3.33% static alacrity in pve (should be used on cooldown), more than 3x the value of a single talent point into the +alacrity in the DF tree. In pvp, it will be worth more than that since your uptime with it in actual combat will be higher. Then you get the 2 energy/second regen. You are incredibly naive and ignorant if you do not see this benefit.
  13. That links me to some Guardian's parse?
  14. If you can pull something similar with the relic and adrenal, why would you not want -even more- benefit from burst volley? You contradict yourself and logic at every turn.
  15. It procs if Trickshot is off cooldown. In your rotation you listed, it would not be off cooldown. Be ignorant if you want, but don't you dare ruin the player base of this game anymore than you already have. Hit 55, then learn how the game is played.
