  1. We are running guard on me fulltime. Still no joy without a 5-10 second delay for me to start dps. I dunno. It may be a moot point. That time frame can provide easily 10-12K samage, with IM, RS, RP, RS and any rolling ticks from my cylinder. I know that shouldn't make a a difference over the course of the encounter, but damage is damage and I hate throwing it away.
  2. Better than nothing that pyros have at the moment. Even a small threat dump every 45,60,90 seconds would help. My complaint is that the only option available to me to manage threat is to intentionally throttle/do less damage. It could be that was the point of the class design. *shrug*
  3. Not exactly - I understand that front loading is going to shoot my self in the foot - but Im considering the tightness of the enrage timers and needing to eek out every last bit of dps. Its more an acknowledgement that it is a burst class and by extension that this is the strength (and arguably a weakness) of the class. So I feel like Im missing something in how to help balance the need for max dps. All Im suggesting is that a threat dump will help get the frontloading closer to the start of the engagement.
  4. Im so frustrated that I have no threat dump....here's to hoping the 100% threat buff tanks got solves the problem. Any other pyros out there having issues with threat management? It really sucks having to wait 30 seconds to get my CDs into my rotation. Even with guard up, and waiting a solid 5 count before popping power relics and explosive fuel has me pulling threat. Our tanks are solid - really wish we had chaff or something... Having deja vu playing enhance shammy.... Any suggestions from the community on how to smooth my damage curve without sacrificing my dps output?
  5. Im currently running Battlemaster Combat Tech gear. Can I upgrade to War Hero Eliminator? Or am I now committed to combat tech in the war hero tier? Id really like to get into the 2 piece eliminator bonus. Seems kinda lame if I need to get two new BM eliminator pieces prior to upgrading. Thanks!
  6. So this is interesting. Did you mean accuracy instead of power? As a base modifier to all other damage output power makes sense, but I also did not put accuracy in here, and I have recently started to put some focus on it - if you aren't hitting, then ultimately crit, surge, and power all would be failing to live up to the potential as we wouldn't be getting the most bang for the buck using the rationale that if you don't hit, then all that potential damage gained from surge, crit, and power go away simply by missing? There is also the question of alacrity, and determining what the cap is for it, though I think alacrity is going to be the lowest priority stat? Unless there is a massive increase from snipe cast, sos ticks, etc.. So maybe the priority is Accuracy to "cap" -> power -> Crit to "cap" -> surge -> alacrity?

  8. Anyone know if there is such a thing, or what my targets should be for crits, surge, and power? Also is there any idea of preference? I'm thinking Crit -> Power -> Surge? Looking for numerical inputs and thoughts on that hypothesized secondary stat prioirty.
