  1. I'd like to believe it is something they are working on, but knowing EA's corporate greed I can only imagine it will be something that comes later on and is only available through cartel packs so they can make some extra money off of what should be an in game feature.
  2. Destiny is not an MMO...and it has no semblance of story what so ever...
  3. To be honest we saw Darth Maul return from being cut in half and long thought/left for dead. Anything is possible.
  4. Disagree with just about everything the OP says, but I think part of the problem with the anti-social aspect of SWTOR is the companion system. They wanted to make KOTOR 3 and then tried to make it an MMO instead of just making a Star Wars MMO. There is no need for teammates when you have a companion you have to keep geared up as you go through the game, especially once you get a healer companion, there is really no need to request help with certain content. Star Trek Online did this same thing giving you bridge officers, so you essentially had a CPU team that you could control of 4 characters that you could gear and customize yourself and set up their buffs/debuffs so you never had to worry about finding someone else to play with or team up with. Personally that has always been my biggest gripe with this game, the companion system, to me it really provides no incentive to go out and find other people to play with, unless we're talking about flashpoints/operations etc. at end game. SWTOR to me has always felt like a single player RPG with the class stories, Makeb, and SOR, but has some "group" content available at end game if you want to play it.
  5. What sucks is I've tried to make a Rattataki (or however you spell it...its 4 am here...blah...) close to Ventress and just can't seem to be able to pull it off...
  6. I don't think that's it quite honestly, I just found her to be an annoying character, but I feel that same way about Anakin as well. Just the way she was written/acted I guess. Maybe it's the fact that they were paired up together and it just made it worse overall. The Ashoka later on in Rebels wasn't too bad, so maybe this is somehow Anakin's fault...lol
  7. Nadia...to me she is the best of them all, just wish she was available to the knight as well. She is so curious about everything and eager to learn and I think she is one of the few you truly get to be a master to and teach her about the force. Just a shame you get her so late in the Consular story.
  8. This will be me. Shaak Ti is one of my all time favorite characters in the SW universe and much more worthy of being cloned than Ashoka.... My opinion of course, I found Ashoka to be one of the most annoying characters of the Clone Wars series.
  9. I to am concerned about it only being "one" story basically. I personally didn't care much for how Makeb/Revan are basically the same for everyone. I really enjoyed running the class stories all the way through, but I honestly at this point have no desire to run Makeb or Revan again with additional characters. Revan was especially bad, it was like "here's a bunch of flashpoints and no real developed story, go play." Have utterly no desire to play through SOR again on any of my characters right now, other than to get some of the gear/mods.
  10. You'd be surprised actually. Open communication with the community would be something welcome I'm sure and as long as they have a reasonable explanation for it and emphasize they don't want to release them until they are 100% ready with no head tendrils (or whatever they are) clipping through robes, etc. than I really don't think there will be that much backlash. Waiting until the last minute and basically just pulling a "sorry not ready yet" card is a surefire way to ensure people are angry and raging on the forums. Basically it would just be nice to see EA/Bioware be proactive for once instead of reactive when it comes to things like this. Keeping people in the dark when they are worried about patch notes/changes and then springing surprises at the last minute before the patch comes out is a great way to piss off your community. Being proactive and addressing possible issues with clear communication well in advance is a good way to keep your community informed and less likely to blow up. It also builds goodwill with your players. Just my two cents...
  11. Opened 2 so far, got the speeder on both, brown/brownish dye and the Carbonite out of combat health regen emote thing.
  12. While I wouldn't say there is a severe lack of endgame, there is limited endgame, especially compared to a lot of other MMOs. That is one of the reasons I am somewhat concerned when Bioware says they are focusing so much on story for KFE. The story is the best part of SWTOR easily, but it wouldn't kill them to really give us a lot more endgame focused content. As it stands right now I really feel no need to even get on my 60s other than to run some stuff to make credits for my alts. End game crafting to me is non-existent and pointless and basically everytime I've reached 60 with a toon I just feel like ok...now lets go start another class story since that's where 99% of the content seems to be in this game.
  13. Don't think this is true. I recently came back last month and playing on my 55 I was getting XP from mobs and daily completions and everything else even though I hadn't bought SOR yet. I was almost 56 when I finally purchased the expansion.
  14. Glad they are focusing on story and really hope they revamp the companions a bit and allow us to make permanent decisions regarding them as you could in the beta. Also going to be interesting to see the new companions and the whole alliance/betrayal thing that will be involved with it. However I still am a bit worried they are too focused on story. My main gripe with SWTOR right now is just an overall lack of quality end game content. I get to level 60 with a character and just feel like, "Ok...now which class story can I play again?" End game in SWTOR just bores me to death and crafting seems about pointless since you can buy much better items and modifiable armor on the cartel market. Doesn't help that my main is artifice, which has been made utterly useless by the CM. Why would I waste time RE'ing all those purple level crystals when people can just slot one at level 10 that is better than anything I can ever craft? As of right now I just find the "end game" extremely boring and my main toon just became a money machine for my leveling alts.
  15. I report for spam/block user, etc. but then I have 2-3 more come in the next day advertising the same web address for it.
