Here it is over a year later and I'm having this issue, also.

It's back and it will not let you remove it. I'm on a metered connection and suddenly I find I'm out of bandwidth. Why is it that developers think they know everything? I'm very happy without an option to play with a partial download. Please, please let us uninstall this. (I tried this again and found it no longer uninstalls - it tells you that SWTOR is installed and NEEDS it).

Where do I get this? EDITED: I just googled this. They got to be kidding. Random drops from packs? Or lots of credits on the GTN? And they want me to spend real money on CC to buy outfits. What's wrong with that line of thinking? Maybe it should be sold as an outfit on the Cartel Market for CC, like all other armor, but then it would be obvious that I am wasting my CC on other armor sets until I get it. BW is not encouraging me to spend my money on this game outside my sub.

What's the point of buying additional cosmetic outfits if you're just going to default a slot that isn't filled to the armor slot? I buy a 3 piece out fit (no helm, no gloves, no belt, no bracers) and when I activate the cosmetic, those slots that I don't use display the helm, gloves, belt and bracers of the armor I am wearing. It totally destroys the incentive to have multiple cosmetic slots for my characters.

My biggest complaint is in the cosmetic area. When I put on a Chest Piece and Leggings, leave off the bracer, gloves, etc. and hit apply...The slots I left empty default to showing the armor slots that are equipped. What's the point of having a cosmetic if you're going to display a default value?

I have to agree with you here. That's why I'm not renewing my subscription. However, it isn't because of content. I live in the country and have to use satellite internet. My latency runs about 700ms. So I do lag a lot as a result of this. However, a friend got me to try out Final Fantasy XIV and something amazing happened. I don't lag. You don't suppose it's because they use a better engine do you? Or maybe, just maybe, they know how to code better? I just hope SWTOR gets around to doing whatever it is that reduces the lag, I really like the new PvP zones/arenas.

I would love this feature. Unlike most you here, I have been known to delete all my chars and start over. This would make it so much easier and quicker to do that.

Isn't the reason they went F2P was that it would make MORE money? With all the restrictions they have, I'm surprised anyone even tries out the game. Even with a sub, i don't feel too encouraged/motivated to spend more $ on this game. Restrictions like "no trading"; "only receive email" (and that email takes about 1/2 an hour to arrive), just seem like they are going overboard. If the incentives for subbing aren't enough to get you to sub, those restrictions will just drive you away. And they have a highly inflated sense of value for their digital items. They want some serious cash for digital stuff, they really do need to make that stuff better. All gear dye-able that you buy. All gear "account bound" so you can pass it to another char. And make it really cool looking, no one wants to spend money on crappy looking stuff. I need more carrot on that stick before I start spending any amount of $$$.

I'm just returning also. I, too, quit back around March 2012. I subbed for 30 days. What is concerning me the most is this massive download to get up to date. Reading some other posts made me start thinking this is normal for all updates. I understand updating after being gone so long. That's like a new install. but if this is weekly or even bi-weekly, then I don't see a long term future here. I live in a rural area and i have limited usage. After 25gb, it's $10 per gb additional. I definitely won't have much left to spend on the game if I have to buy additional usage every month.

I think the issue isn't so much the "nerf", but why the nerf?. I would assume most of us play an MMO to have fun. At least, I know I do. So why ruin my fun by insuring I die in a fight, just because I needed more than 1 medpac? Makes no sense to me. And if a stealth class breaks combat in PvE, the mob instantly heals up, does it not? Only in PvP would this be a concern, as it brings in balance issues. But again, why not let those that want to use heals, use them? If some want to be "medpac" junkies, doesn't bother me any. Even in PvP. If you want to spend the time crafting them, be my guest.

Actually, Pre-CU was very good and popular. Even after the CU, it wasn't too bad. It was the NGE change that killed the game. I would definitely play any game that gave me the freedom that the original SWG had for character development and play.
