  1. There's no gain in coding each vendors filters individually or even group, easier and better to maintain a single code base for same functionality and less likelyhood of bugs.
  2. You would be wrong. KP was last the Priority Hard Mode the week of June the 7th, 2016. 3 or 4 weeks ago was EV, not KP
  3. They've got a Cartel Market pack to go along with the bonus chapter. I feel pretty confident in saying itll release next month
  4. I'm in the same boat. And you can't rerun them all. I have the Dark vs. Light: Flashpoint Master achievement, so there's no way to get it again. It's just not showing up as completed on the Dark vs. Light: Legend achievement, probably because I got it before it was actually part of the achievement, so they're going to have to patch to grant back credit. The only question is whether or not they're going to make us wait a month or so, or take care of immediately.
  5. Well, I guess this was the right week to do it, what with conquest and priority op messed up. Why not cap it off with another colossal screwup? On the other hand, at least this time, they made the right decision to go ahead and push the patch now rather than have it messed up tonight in addition to waiting for patch downtime tomorrow
  6. It's disappointing that when crap like this happens, we already know it's going to be 'wait until next week'. Well, thanks guys, guess I get a week off, as you've managed to screw up the only two things I keep playing the game for. I sincerely hope you're overhauling the systerms that control this crap for KOTET. This is a client/server game, there is absolutely no good reason why the client needs to have this data patched in ahead of time. It should be a relatively simple push from the server, and you should be able to kick it off from the server side in the event that it doesn't fire correctly.
  7. I'm fairly certain that gaming was not the driving force behind the x86 architecture. The reason why you don't see alot of macs used for traditional gaming is because game developers aren't developing for mac, outside of the app store. it's difficult to gain market share that isn't possible to get. Blizzard is one of the few standouts, as pretty much everything they develop (only thing recently not cross platforrm is Overwatch) works on both Windows (which is what folks really mean when they say PC) and OS X. The reason is pretty straightforward - the graphics interface. DirectX is easy. OpenGL is not. Maybe Metal will change that trend over time, too early to say And for those who think Mac market share is trivial - think about these things: #1 - Last I checked, Office for Mac is one of Microsoft's most profitable products. If the Mac population was truly that small, they wouldn't have wasted time porting the suite over. #2 - Mac users usually have disposable cash. After all, they bought a Mac. I would imagine from a development standpoint, overall, developing for Mac would be easier. You would only need to develop for a small subset of hardware, which is tons easier. It's alot like developing for a console. I think if the big boys were to develop for Mac, they'd see that Mac users would represent significant enough numbers to justify it. It'd be nice if Blizzard would release their numbers on the percentage of folks who use macs for their products
  8. Legendary is not difficult either. Several of my guild members are just waiting for Chapter 16 to drop in order to complete the final 3 tiers
  9. The CM usually doesn't update until the afternoon when there's no form of maintenance going on, it's pretty normal for it not to update with weekly reset
  10. They did, and it was datamined out as well. The client knows via the planet choices that this week should be Emergency Operations, server just didn't kick it off.
  11. *shrug* I'm a veteran player. I'm not insulted. Most of my guild members aren't either, they've embraced the event wholeheartedly, and we're not a small guild by any means. We pretty much win whatever conquest planet we invade by the end of the first day. We're always up against the guild cap and constantly have to prune. In a large way, this has actually brought alot of folks together, as it created a bridge between the newer players and the vet players, as the vets now have incentive to do old content and bring the newer guys along to help them out. You speak of being an adult, but you're failing to act like one. Your response is neither measured, nor level headed. You're acting more like my 10 year old after he's heard the word no, or being told he needs to scoop the litter box. You speak of experience running teams over multiple games. You should be able to realize that the likely alternative to not doing this event was... nothing. Just the same old stuff until the next expansion is ready. If you would honestly prefer to just do the same old crap as always over the next few months instead of this event... you still have that option. You're acting like you're forced into doing this event. You're not acting like a responsible adult, you're acting like a child, or like your typical teenage gamer that lacks impulse control. But you go right on with that righteous crusade you've got brewing in your head, brother
  12. You can do the entire event with one slot, though you're better off with 2 if you want all the boxes on one specific toon. You don't need 8.
  13. I'm a big fan of jugg/guardian (have 13). Early going it can be a little painful. Once you hit 26 and get your second major ability, it's actually pretty good. Alot of it is that you just don't have alot of buttons to push. I don't start feeling comfortable until I hit 30, then I have all the base moves, the 2 spec flavored ones, force choke, and force push, so usually have something to push.
  14. Actually, the easier way would have been to just put a week cooldown on the token refund
  15. We've got folks disconnected and some random lag going on
