How would you grade the new chapter (POTENTIAL SPOILERS)
Philmors replied to Shwarzchild's topic in General Discussion
Didn't they say they weren't going to be working on chapter so much because of the holidays? If that is the case, they only had like 1 1/2 months of solid work on it. I'll judge them more harshly on the next chapter if it takes longer than a month for the next chapter to come out. -
Old crew not appearing on ship - needed to start quest for Pierce
Philmors replied to JediJak's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, the class ship feels quite empty now with only Treek and HK-55 there. -
It's the same for me. I feel those three are all about equal but are better than the others in different ways.

Lore-wise Who Is The Most Powerful Character In-Game?
Philmors replied to Berronaxftw's topic in Story and Lore
Influence-wise, I think the inquisitor is more powerful in that regard since he just controls a large part of the empire followed by the sith warrior. Next after that would be the consular since he can't affect the republic as much as the sith can the empire. Strength-wise, I think the Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior are pretty much neck and neck. After that would be the consular and inquisitor but it would be close to the jedi knight and the sith warrior. I'd rank the Consular higher than the inquisitor without the ghosts but with the ghosts I think the inquisitor would be higher. -
Companion Affection Achievements in Fallen Empire
Philmors replied to EricMusco's topic in General Discussion
No you don't actually. You just have to have it nearly maxed out on most of them if I recall. -
My Sith Warrior will for sure. He's not a patriot for the empire and is more of a hedonist/violent psychopath (he and jaesa are soul mates. lol) so he'll be willing to go along with his master longer for much fun and stuff. Every other character I have will probably say no.
-
Not only that but if you do get knocked off your speeder you'll probably be able to handle the group that dismounted you. The only way I can see that not happening is if you intentionally aggroed a bunch of strong/elite mob groups that were close to each other.

That was exactly how I felt about it as well. It also made the characters feel more fake to me since everyone was a playersexual and was more for sex than anything else. I don't mind if Vaylin is a gay, straight, or bisexual as long as they don't follow the same path in DA2 and make every new Love Interest bisexual/playersexual. That's if Vaylin will be a companion and romanceable. If anything, she strikes me as being a bit similar to Jaesa.

Why did you revive a topic that was 4 months old?

Poll: How many people Hide their head slot on their Characters.
Philmors replied to Anaesha's topic in General Discussion
It depends on my class and the gear I'm wearing. For my trooper and soldier type companions, I keep their helmets on (since I have them all wearing similar trooper armor and all). My Bounty Hunter also keeps his helmet on as do the bounty hunteresque companions as well. For everyone else, I keep the helmet slot hidden except on my sith assassin because he is wearing the Revanite Vindicator set and that just doesn't look nearly as ****** with the helmet off in my opinion. -
Exactly what I'm thinking. Practically everything in the area is going to be green to you at the most so they are going to be a minimal threat. That means they aren't going to jump you from all the way across the map unless you intentionally aggro every group. Hell, when I'm leveling alts with the 12x experience, things are green to me most of the time anyways so it's pretty easy to avoid them. Those that I can't avoid only take like 15 seconds to kill.

And there are plenty of downsides to optional level sync as well. Either way both things have their upsides and downsides. I think bioware just did the more cheaper/easier option in addition to wanting all content to be viable for your regardless if you out leveled it or not.

That's probably why they are focusing on story content on this expansion is my guess. They see most people are focused on that instead of PVP and raiding.

Free Level 60: Nifty, but what's their story? [Spoilers]
Philmors replied to SolNeros's topic in General Discussion
I'm assuming no one was romanced with the free level 60 in the classic story is my guess so you can choose to romance a new crew member in the expansion without any consequences. I'm guessing if you want to do anything like cause a catfight (if that can happen) or choose light side choices for empire, then you'll need to level up a character yourself.
