Go make an alt on the new server with the name you want and reserve the name. Not the best answer, but a way to preserve your char name.

I played WOW from beta and off and on through all expansions. Never went on Raids (hated them) my son who is now almost nine started playing at 2 and half years old. He learned how to use a PC due to that game. I had very good times. I stopped leveling at 49 and just did BGs for years before they made pvp count toward xp. I stopped playing that game ever since. I loved the pvp pre 50, but after that with DK ect... I never played again. My son still plays to this day but only on private servers. The need to raid killed it for me. Still a great game, but happy here for now.

I haven't played in 3 weeks. I will keep subbing cause hopefully the stars will align again so I can play. I just buy the prepaid cards and add em to the account. Love the game, just RL is so demanding right now.

I have been playing Empire and my girlfriend is taking a break and not to outlevel her I want to try Republic. I am a 46 Marauder and enjoyed playing this class, but want a change. I want to try a healer. I am thinking of going with a healer class that can shoot the heals off with his blaster. What route should I go on the Republic side to accomplish this? I plan to WZ alot when I hit level 10 so I need to be viable for that. Thanks!!

That is exactly what I did and fixed me right up. I passed all the RAM tests prior as well. I am now running 8GB and once my new RAM arrives from Corsair I can go back up to 16GB. I had one bad 4GB stick. The headaches I had for 3 days until I figured that out....

Last time I had an issue patching was due to a bad stick of RAM (which Corsair has received and just shipped back today. Gotta love RMAs). I am not convinced that everyone's patching issues are just their boxes (I am sure alot are). Falcon was able to fix alot of patching issues for ppl before he was asked to stop posting the files.

I posted this on another thread that was closed to consolidate threads: They need more participation on the test server. Are you about to copy chars to the test server? If not, I don't see how there will ever be enough ppl there testing. If that is allowed they would have alot more users there able to test the new patch content and find these issues before it's pushed live. I know alot of people will yell, "I pay to play not to test." Why this is true, there are also alot of people that like to test new content before it goes live.
