  1. These Things are such a shame. i am not a programmer, but is it that hard that all sets with capes or similar thing work the same? I mean, the most of them dont clip through mounts. Why the **** do they bring new ones where they are clipping. Just programm it like the others? The biggest disapointment for me is not even that, but the fact that they dont fix this issue after several months...
  2. i mean, i can live with flipping around. I cant live with clipping through every damn Mount. Reborn Malgus Set is literary the only set ive met in the whole game with that issue. Other Sets with Capes dont clip through Mounts. I mean..Come on Swtor, get this fixed!
  3. So... The Set is live for a while and i like it in general. There is just one (sadly) BIG issue...Will the damn ****** clipping cape ever get fixed? I mean, you dont sell broken items right? An armor, that clips through every damn mount and basically cleans the ground, doesnt seem okay to me.

Mal Butter bei die Fische, das Set sieht meiner Meinung nach echt nice und eines Sith würdig aus...ABER, seit dieses Ding raus ist, hat das Cape einfach mega krasse clipping Fehler und clippt durch sämtliche Mounts zum Beispiel durch, wodurch man wie der letzte Honk aussieht auf einem Fahrzeug. Wird das nochmal geändert? Ich schmeiß doch nix "kaputtes" aufn Markt und lass es dann vergammeln...

Well, sorcs die faster then mercs when u dont kite correctly, because how you mentioned a merc can tank a lot more dmg (able to tank a a lot more dmg means the other one dies faster in comparison). This is based on their defense skills and..yeah a fact^^ This can be compensated by sorcs mobility, but doesnt change the fact. I base my opinion on a comparison between their abilities, not on my skill level + of course the daily bgs and arena matches where mostly non force users are top dmg (this is of course a personal experience), but i never based my opinion on the feeling i have when i play it. Dont know where you got this information. Yeah i did...and i never said they are bad. I did quite the contrary, because i mentioned 2 times now that i never said and never meant to say that sorcs are bad. I know, sometimes it can be hard to understand, but only because someone says "something is stronger", this doesnt mean that the "weaker" one is unplayable bad. It means what it says: something is stronger then something else. Maybe its easier for you with an example? When i say a ferrari is faster then a bugatti, then this doesnt mean the bugatti is slow af and cant be driven, its still a great and good car Hope you can comprehend it now Thx for the information!

That i doesnt perform as good as someone who play sorc as a main and swtor as a main game is kinda obvious and i never said something else Second, (again) i never said sorcs are bad. I only said, that it seems like non force users are stronger then force users in most cases. This doesnt mean that sorcs are **** and not playable or whatever. So you can keep your when it refers to somethings that i never said Third point, i never wanted to discuss sorc vs merc only. Assa and operative seems to have a similar issue, where i cant see a single thing a seith/jedi assa is doing better then an operative (dmg, defense, mobility) Would you recommend elemental tactical? To be honest, the Haste tactical just doesnt feel good to me. Elemental gives more chain lighting procs and it feels more fluent to me. I have stormwatch too, was my first tactical and wanted to try something else.
  7. First, i never said sorcs or any class is trash. Please dont say wrong things about me or what i said. The Point of this thread is, that non force users seem to be stronger then force users in most cases. Of course, its a personal experience, but i see it that often, like every game i do, that i wondered about the balance in swtor. How i mentioned, mobility is good for kiting and dmg avoiding, but before you avoid dmg you have to get out of line of sight. Sure this can be fast with force speed, like 1-3 secs depending on your position and if well played, you can kite a person for ever. The point is, you wont win the game like that and u wont make the dmg a merc could do in this time. You explained the selfhealing and i explained why the selfhealing of a sorc is bad, or worse then the heal of other classes. Btw, Sorc shield absorbs like 2 attacks before it explodes..its shielding for about 8% of your life? Not that great to be honest. Sure, over time you can heal about a "good" amount of life spamming heals on cd, but over time doesnt help when u get burstedt and hard focused. Im using eyrin's haste all the time, because i get focused a lot with sorc.

I mean, i can see the leaderboards too but strange that at the end of my games, the top tier dmg ppl are always operatives, merc, powertechs...thats jus my personal experience, no matter if its big bgs or arena. Btw its a fact that sorc and merc are similar on the leaderboard, thats correct. Never disagreed about facts lol. Why? what should keep him alive longer then a merc? Because his mobility is slightly better? I mean thats nice, dont get me wrong, but it wont keep your Health up. How? When the sorc is completly ignored, okay, but not when he gets focused. Never ever can he deal more dmg then a merc while being focused. -> Edit, last arena game top dmg: Merc, powertech,merc,operative, me(played juggernaut for some testing), Sith assa, then the heal...i mean, come on. Even when the leaderboards are similar between some classes, when i see non force users top dmg ( with big healing too) almost every game, it has to be something wrong.
  9. no **** sherlock xD depending on your position and the map, it can be difficult to get out of line of sight. I mentioned that i went behind a wall, but till i got behind the wall it needed 2-3 sec where i got a lot of dmg in my back. I think everyone knows what kiting and line of sightmeans in a mmo, you rly dont have to explain this. So THIS is something you have to explain. How are they close? close in dmg? Mobility? Because the Merc defense is A LOT stronger then the sorcs defense. So when they are "close" in dmg and mobility, mercs are still the way better option. Dont rly get the point why they should be better in ranked then?
  10. i tried the"heal" talent, so that bubble heals you..to be honest, you cant call this heal. My Healthbar barely moves upwards. Seems like a very useless talent. I mean, i understand that Phasewalk using first is better in most situations, but when i woudlnt bubbled there, i would have lost 30-50% of my life probably in these 2-3 sec where 3 ppl bursting on me. I did kiting, but kiting only works vs melee and melees have enough gapclosers normaly. How i mentioned, i did kiting but still got very high dmg in my back because a merc shoot all he had on me. I used every possible defense cd of course, like the 25% dmg reduction for 6 sec, used both instant heals (the one with 25sec cd and dmg reduction and the hot). So every possible defense was used, but yeah..doesnt helped much. Dmg was just way to high compared with the very very tiny amount of sorc heal. i also used the cast heal when i ported behind a wall of course, but how mentioned the heal of it is...not very high. The Bubble blind talent seems nice, i agree this could help in those situations, but to be honest...only when ur teammates playing with some brain. The blind instantly breaks when they recive dmg, so this talent helped me not a single bit in this situation sadly, because my team was doing dmg on them >.> Phasewalk has also a cd that is not thaaat low, so when u are rly in trouble and are the focus, its very rare to be able to use it twice. I agree, there are abilities u can use while kiting and forerush gives u instant casts too, but in reality that is still not even close to the dmg you can do when you are able to stand still and cast. + when you are the focus, i have to activate the heal, i have to activate the barrier again and so on, thats all normal abilites with global cd in which time i get dmg skills in my back that dealing dmg twice of my heal. Mercs are easier to play, because they have better cds. Thats the point and thats why i said they are stronger.
  11. So i played 2 arena matches with soc and 2 with merc again to get a better comparison...and damn, when sorc can free cast its pretty nice, but when u get focused as sorc its a joke. You have 2 abilites to use as a real defense and you cant dmg at all when u get focused. Example: 2 enemies jumping on me, assassin pops up behind me, all with dmg cdes used so i instantly pop bubbly, because this way i stay high health and they wasted their dmg cds or at least a part of it. -> bubble ends so i try to get away with forcespeed, but yeah getting tons of dmg in my back so im forced to use port -> now im standing behind a wall and can cast heal, but hey this heal heals about 5% of my hp! So its a complete ******** heal and makes almost zero difference. -> they come around the wall and kill me. This happened in around 25 sec. I mean, if its bad played tell me or say what i can do better there, but to be honest sorc feels like the biggest garbage ever if you are focused (bad survivability and dmg) (and i get focused a lot with my sorc). Comparison merc Example: 2 enemies(jugg and mara) are jumping on me and i immediately use rocket jump. They reach me again and root me, so i use the speed(which also cleanse roots and slows) and rocket jump again. -> now they have to run, because they used their jumps. -> i get a stun and use reflect, got some heal because one of them keeped doing dmg for like 3 sec. -> reflect ends and they swapp to me again, but i use shield and my scan and have enough dmg reduction and healing with kiting ->another sorc swaps to me and i use kolto, kicking the jugg and mara away from me That was the time where the first enemy died and i just rocket jumped me behind a wall, so i was way to far away (from the mara and jugg) and they had to switch focus to my other mates. Nobody of our team died and i were still third dmg. (side note, i get rarely focused as merc. Completly different to sorc) Conclusion : Yes sorc can deal a lot of dmg, maybe even more then merc WHEN (and thats the point) they are not focused. If they are focsued, they die fast because of lack of defense and they cant even do their dmg anymore, because they have to stand still and cast a lot. Merc can deal high dmg, if focused or not. If focused, merc has a very high chance to survive because of way stronger def cds and similar kiting tool + Merc has to cast very less (somebody said merc have to cast very much...like no? Oo u have 2 skills that making your only important cast to an instant cast and these abilities have a 15 and 40 sec cd. Sure sometimes you have to cast it, but in general you have to cast waaaaay less then a sorc) Maybe i will do a Sith Assa and Operative comparison too if i got the time, but at the end of this comparison i have to say, that mercs not only feel stronger, they are stronger then a sorc and i just cant find a single reason to play sorc, except the style sadly. I mean, why should i pick the weaker class when i want to be competetive and reach a high goal? Makes no sense
  12. So its better that non force users are stronger then force users in the game? I mean, i already mentioned that i would love to play a force user, but damn the military ones doing the same in better. This is what makes me upset. When i play a sith or jedi, its always like..yeah its cool, but merc, operative or whatever would do the same job, but better. It feels like u have to decide between i want to be a cool force user or i want to be as good as possible when its about competetive.
  13. Okay mate...we will do this slowly so its easier to understand^^ U "explained" that u can dps through reflect with aoe abilites. Great Job mate! Doesnt change the FACT , that u have to deal no dmg or very low dmg in this 6 sec. compare this with sorc, which def cds are like..hey 25% less dmg (which has Merc too but better) for 5 sec. Mercs reflect cd alone aviods a lot of dmg ( no matter if the enemy uses aoe ( way lower dmg) or stops to attack at all) and even gives u healing when the enemy doesnt play well. Pls show me where i said this Pls dude, i beg you to show me the post where i have written this.^^ Because i never said this, so im very excited to see where u get this from. My statement is, that merc has def cds that are way stronger then sorcs def. The topic is the comparison between Sith/jedi and non Sith/jedi classes^^ Of course, merc can still losee when they play dumb af. I NEVER said that merc cannot lose. Furthermore, other strong classes like operative that have many good def abilites and very good dmg can win of course too. So, remember: i never said or meant to say this. Pls dont say wrong things about me. Again, you should start reading correctly for the second time now (seems like its being your weakness). And i said, that u werent listening, because i never denied using aoe and agreed with you in this point. Still, you can only do no dmg or low dmg and these things are fact Oo you cant dps well through it, because it would heal the person. You can use aoe, but aoe doesnt deal any near the dmg you would do with your normal abilities. okay, seems like i have to explain the ability. Kolto heal heals you up to 70% life for 10 sec (when u skilled it its 70% and the heals are stronger). Kolto Heal is a def cd, that pushes your life back to 70% and how i mentioned and experienced , even when 2 ppl attacking you, this skill heals u at least so much, that your life stays at a level. So you are right, there is no 70% life free heal. its even more then 70% xD Because this heals more then 70% of your life. Imagine how powerful this def cd is. Not wondering that my DD MERC is always right under the heals in bgs with second most healing lol. ah, maybe i should explain this aswell for you. You use Kolto heal for example at 30% life, so its already a 40% life heal back to 70% and then there comes the dmg of the enemy, that will be healed for like another 7-8 seconds. Thats some big damn healing my friend. Last Comment, thats true! I was to tired to reread your posts to be honest when i answered and just remembered that u wrote stupid. Thats my bad But hey, at least i can admit it when i did something wrong I hope this is clear now, especially because the point of this thread is why some of the military classes are so much stronger then jedi/Sith classes.
  14. okay first, u didnt understood the point and called me stupid and i should read better while u were the person that didnt read correctly x) i agree that BW should balance this way better. my characterization of reflect isnt wrong. its a hughe heal if u get dpsed or it forces ppl to do no dmg or low dmg to you. thats a strong defense and already stronger then almost everything a sorc has. u added this "u can still do low dmg with aoes" things, so thats correct and i agree there. Its just sad that swtor feels like u are forced to play certain classes because they just perform better, because for me personal its way more sytlish to play as a sith (for example sorc) then a merc, but well..merc feels just so much better when its about the numbers and skills and not the animation. to your dps through kolto..when 2 ppl attacking me while kolto is active, it doesnt push me back to 70% in most cases, but its enough to keep me on a level at least. The healing from this skill is very strong.

Now look at the merc...he gets focused..alrighty lets pop reflect. 6 sec no one can attacks you, if they does you deal dmg and heal + u can kite too of course. Hey they are still at you? no problem! lets pop the kolto heal! another 10 sec where you can heal against the dps...and dont forget about barrier (or the scan, that is basically the same heal that sorc has)....
