You don't need to replace them just let the same person back in. If you d/c in a rated battle ground in WoW all you have to do is log back in and you go straight into the match again. Different game but same idea. Seeing how some of the d/c are a client side issue its made even worse. If you are going to compair it to somebody breaking their leg I would say its more like somebody from the league breaking the players leg mid game and telling you tough crap deal with it. Another issue is eating a loss if you d/c reguardless of the outcome. The best first hand example I have is being in a civil war we were winning d/cing at the very end and not only missing on the 140 or so comms I should have got but taking a 20 point ratings loss when it should have gone up. I died right at the end released to fly back and was spit out to fleet. How the hell is that my fault? As a result now if the match is almost over in civil war and i die i dont release and just wait it out. That is a pretty broken step to have to take as a player.

If you are still waiting to pick an AC go with the play style you enjoy more. Merc and PT do not share much common ground. Sure PT pyro is very strong right now, but classes are buffed and nerfed all the time. So you should play what you enjoy over picking the flavor of the month and ending up with a toon you don't like just a little bit down the line. So the choice comes down to do you like ranged dps or healing over a chance to tank or play short range/melee dps.

Perhaps it is far too much to hope that one unstable part of the game doesn't ruin another. You don't get kicked out of OPS groups if you were running EC and disconnected or the game just crashed. Yet for some reason to curb ppl quitting wz this feature was added, screwing over ppl that are trying to play and the game is fighting them on it.

Tank gear with dps mods in it is what you want to do. Absorb, shield and def do almost nothing for you in pvp.

This is still an on going issue. I hate losing matches because we had to 6 man it, hell its not the way I want to win either. Even worse today alone we had a match that 2 ppl both had their game just shut down out of the blue. On second they are fighting at a turret then POOF back to desktop and the game is closed out. While addressing this issue giving ppl credit based on what happened in that ranked match would be nice. I had a match that I was kicked out of we won and I ended up not getting the 140+ comms I should have and my rating took a 20 point loss. Sure rating doesn't matter too much not but it will down the line and having an unstable server eat away points is just not ok.

How a company can seem to time and time again not understand their own product and how things will actually play out is beyond me.

Can something plz be done to allow ppl that dc back into ranked warzones. Far too many matches are won or lost based on a team being forced to play a person or more down. It really sucks when you load into a match and somebody dcs and the game is screwed.

There are only a few planets that pvp is even an option. With the way the game is phased over 1/2 of the planets are in a different phase then the other sides version of it. Then some of the ones that you can pvp only small portions of the planet is open to both and due to the flow of the game there is a large lvl gap in those zones. This game couldn't have been set up much worse for world pvp then it is.

With how toxic general chat and ppls moods have been today over the game going f2p I don't see myself playing much longer. Mix in the armies of pissed off old players that will come back just to spew venom at ppl over the game failing its going to be a nightmare.

Besides the two forum posts in this thread I have never seen or heard anybody call them by those names. It is always E/W, east/west or grass/snow. I have pvp'd that map at least 300 times on 2 different servers.

Compairing the worst pvp gear to the best pve is pretty damn dumb if you are trying to make a case that a new 50 doesnt need the recruit gear. Is recruit gear amazing and going to last very long, no. Is it better then the lvl 49 or lower gear they have on when they hit 50, yes. Being able to get away with pve gear also depends on your AC and spec.

Do you do any or all of those things every match? Sure all of these things and more can and should be done. Its one thing to point out problems, its another to fix them. I am also a bit lucky and spoiled, I almost only run with full groups of ppl I know so 3 or 7 other ppl on vent/mumble/ts together and we all know our roles and whats going to happen. I know what I am doing to start every map depending on the toon I am on and who I am playing with. I also know what everybody else will be doing before we even see where we are going. Rarely does it change much unless somebody has a new 50 or we are runnign with new players.

My point is there is nothing stopping anybody from doing that. Just because somebody randomly has the leader mark means nothing. So the OP and the other 6 ppl in his groups saying or doing nothing are just as much to blame as some random person that might not ever realize they have been marked as the leader.

If you dont medal you dont get anything though and if you quit you also get nothing. So unless they are doing this with another team to kinda win trade this is a very stupid thing to do indeed.
