  1. Just look on the PvP forums about classes that people are QQing over as being OP etc and you'll see very few if indeed any people QQing about an Assassin. Does this tell everyone how compared to other classes sins are a little bit weaker ? At least until BW shows them some love and try to address a few issues. Not all sins want to be tank spec neither, so this must be addressed for many people to really become a valued PvP member. In PvE the assassin if dps traited is last on the list for getting invites as there are other better classes for dps, other class have in combat CC etc.. At this moment of time all dps traited assassins have to bide their time and wait for the goodies to be given to you by BW.
  2. Also to be fair when you are in PvP area's a console type controller just will not be good enough. I regard myself as an ok PvP'er there are far worse and far better, but even I would put money on me v player with console it would not be a fair contest. All MMO players who play a reasonable game use K/B and Mouse combo whether they are gaming keyboards and mouse or not!
  3. The art of being good using a dps/dd class is knowing when to ease off to not get the aggro from the tank. Nuke mobs when they have little life etc. From my grouping it in swtor it the same mechanics for all classes as in most MMO's I've played! So ask your dps to just be a little more careful then the healer should just be able to heal you with smaller heals elsewhere where needed causing no healing aggro, no dps aggro.. there you go.. you tank Easier said than done as a lot of guys just want to kill mob asap without thought of how that affects the aggro mechanic
  4. I'd support this 100%. If I remember in WAR they also had warzones for different levels ie 10-20, 21-30 etc. That would probably be nice too
  5. This would help tremendously as would target assist ( I cant find that yet if it exists!) These little touches would make a very good game to a fantastic game. More for raiding, but hey that's is what we are here for ain't it?? LOL
  6. Exactly the right way to do it. Clarify the loot rules before the raid/group does anything. That includes rec's etc. I waited for over 8 months to get my rift weapon from the balrog lost every roll even had a 99 and lost to 100!! Seriously this can ruin a noobie enjoyment of the game unless they do what was quoted
  7. I have heard that if you reset your password you can have some more tries at the questions, if you fail again just rinse and repeat Not the greatest security feature but it may help you. If you still fail then I am afraid its CS on the phone as they are the only ones to help with this matter.
  8. Just want to reiterate what a good O/P There will always be quite a few people who are not happy in any game forums, the ones I have inhabited have had them ( and still do ) and I am sure SWTOR will have them. Just let them post away as when I am in game I'd be playing too much to really read whats happening in the forums and generally people who post in forums whilst game is running are not happy so most forums are a little negative to the outside reader. Just enjoy the game, I am looking forward to it so much roll on that email
  9. Many people today has been not too happy concerning how the early access to SWTOR is being handled. I must admit that I had some concerns myself in terms of short term effects on the attitudes of many people who had not been given access on day one. However having read the argument as to why it was done like this in the development tracker thread I can understand the logic behind the way this access is trying to be controlled. The crunch will be whether this method will stave off for a considerable time many of the problems all MMO's suffer from ( empty servers and server merges) I can applaud the commitment that the Dev have in their method and logic and truly hope that it is successful. So even with my slight reservations on the method used, lets hope that they have analyzed it correctly and it will be a benefit to us all in the long run. As to all of us still waiting for that email, have patience it is being done like this for a genuinely good intended reason.
  10. That is a different question, once you create a char that then is limited to that server AFAIK in SWTOR. But like most other MMO's if you want to change server with that char then you will probably can, but have to pay a premium to do that. I don't know whether SWTOR have that set up yet, but they will no to far down the line. You can log onto another server and create a new char though.. hope that helps
  11. When you log in you should be able to select any server that you want depending on whether they are full or not. So if you want a PvP server choose one thats free or RP or PvE etc.. You can choose whatever you want, only guild have been allocated servers AFAIK. To play with friends let them know what servers you are on and hopefully they'll join you
  12. I am sure that guilds members have been allocated those servers for sure But that rules against people who don't have a guild at moment and still want to play with friends.. Either way, indirectly I was probably asking how many more servers will need to put online to meet the needs of all who wants to play the game? Perhaps it is worth setting up a sweepstake on number of servers LOL
  13. With the first day of EGA almost completed and many still not being able to play it will be interesting to see how the management of the server loads is done. Looking at the server status at this moment of time, even on this first day, many are either full or high. No doubt all existing servers will be full by tomorrow so new servers will have to be put online. This is where it will get interesting because remember people we are talking EGA access here and server loads seems quite high already. Could the scenario be that actually on game release date that there may be low resources to accommodate new players who did not pre-order? Over the next few days it will be interesting to watch how this is managed. Oh and btw not been invited yet also and most of my preferred servers are full already LOL so playing with some friends from other MMO's seems to be highly improbable.
