Bioware, I, like many others in the gaming community, really appreciate being left in the dark as to why the game that I pay a monthly subscription for is broken, to the point where I can't even run the launcher. I enjoy not knowing whether or not I will get the early access to the new expansion that I paid for several months ago. I enjoy not knowing whether or not you, as the game developer, are actively seeking to remedy this problem, or just sweeping it under the rug. However, as much as I appreciate not knowing anything about these issues, I feel it is time to put aside my own personal preferences, and ask that, for the greater good of the SWTOR community, you actually come out and say something to address this issue. I realize that I am asking a lot of you, Bioware. However, in between all the time you've had to post new updates all over the website on Rise of the Hutt Cartel, Game Update 2.0, and respond to so many other threads on these forums since Tuesday, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that you'll be able to spare a few minutes somewhere to let us know WHY THE GAME IS BROKEN AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO FIX IT. Thank you.

1.3 Subs . . . but how many of those subs are active players? Could be that 300k of those, or more are people who bought 6 month subs and are no longer playing . . . I'm sure Bioware knows the actual numbers, and for obvious reasons are not releasing those. Are server mergers that big of a blow to the ego that they'll just refuse to do them? Do they really think that 1.3-1.4 will bring back hundreds of thousands of players, and bring in a couple hundred thousand new subs on top of that? Someone at EA needs to suck it up and make the right call. Swallow your pride, merge the servers, and focus on growing the game back that way. Stop trying to do these bandaid fixes to try and ebb the loss of subs. Lost subs are lost subs. And when June/July hit, they're gonna lose another huge batch as the 6 month subs/ +1 free month run dry.

Didn't BW just give people with a LVL 50 a free month of playtime? But yeah, you're not getting compensated for 8 hours of downtime . . . and if you don't have a LVL 50 yet, well, shame on you for having a life outside of playing intergalactic make-believe

I'd love to see BW take all of the accounts of people in this thread ************ about how they "DEMAND to be compensated", and who think their $15/mo entitles them to be treated like internet royalty . . . and refund them their $0.30 for the downtime, and then ban their accounts. "You think our game is so bad? Have fun not being allowed to play it anymore. We're sorry we couldn't provide you with the gaming experience you were seeking. Good luck finding it elsewhere." Then watch as they all e-rage out about how they can't play the game they *****ed about so much anymore . . . the image in my head if immense nerd-rage makes me rofl
