I'll go ahead and /sign this as well. After looking at the 1.2 patch notes for the first time tonight I think I feel sick.

Whaaaaa??? They're removing the giggle? Omg.... that was one of my favorite aspects of my agent. What's the point of removing it again? Seriously, I hate you bioware. I hate you. Im seriously starting to hate you.

Agent ship by far. Seen all of the rest and none of them can compare. Although I do think the Jedi's ships are pretty nice on the inside...

Haven't read all of the posts, only the OP's post. I have a marauder, sorc, and operative. All 50. I never found sorc to be OP as far as damage goes. Only thing I found was that they don't have to worry about force management, unlike other classes and I do believe it's something that needs looking into if it hasn't already. I've played DPS sorc and healing sorc and never had trouble at 50 keeping my force up indefinitely in both pvp and pve. Operative is another story...

I haven't looked at the other armors yet. I play IA but seeing this... I feel so bad for you guys. It's hideous from top to bottom. I fear what the armors of the classes I play might look like. Yuck. Good to see the art design team is listening to the community by spewing out more garbage!

Imperial Agent is my favorite so far. I just reached Act 3 this morning. Second would be Sith Warrior. Third is Sith Inquisitor. I'm sure SI would rank much lower but those are the only classes I've played up until now. Tried bounty hunter but having a hard time getting into the story in the beginning...

Vette. Second is Kaliyo simply because I haven't seen it all the way through yet.

Ah, yes. Kaliyo... Love her, hate her. She's one of those characters I can see as a friend. Romantically? No. She's too focused on what might benefit herself. I have her affection just barely over 3k. Every time I turn around it's -30 or -1 affection so it's been hard to raise it without grinding black talon or shoving gifts down her throat. I agree that she has great character. Just because of that I plan to eventually level her affection up to see her story. But aside from that I'd rather marry Temple just because she seems more trustworthy and she has hair (lol). Not to mention Kaliyo resembles my sister. Personality wise anyways... As a companion I use Kaliyo a lot simply because I like her holding aggro so I can backstabby but recently I've started to use Temple just because of her awesome DPS. It's like having Vette all over again.

Love operative. Just started to try out sniper. It's interesting... can't say until I've gotten it higher though.

I just finished Chapter 1 on my IA. I'm a (mostly) LS Chiss operative and made my decisions from a Chiss's perspective (if you know any background/lore on their race you know what I mean). So... Loving the IA story so far though. It has me on the edge of my seat, even though I'm currently Just started Taris. Can't wait to see how it goes. Think I might replay the story as a sniper later though just to see what the other options are like. While I did like the sith warrior story, this one is much more gripping. Even moreso when you don't let LS/DS points dictate your dialog choices.

I avoided all flirt options with Kaliyo and I got the same response from her. I was like.... "uh.... what relationship...???" Edit: I just finished Chapter 1 so I can't say if you're screwed or not. I also skipped a lot of flirt options with Watcher 2 (not all but most) so that might have affected what she said. I dunno.

I'm big on cosmetics. I remember back in the original guild wars even at level 20, even with the best stat gear available, I was still going around trying to collect other armors simply because of the skins. And here, the only reason why I pvp at 50 is for the battlemaster skins. Not because I like pvp, not because I wanna make my character a power house. I do it for the skins. Sadly, the only thing special about pvp gear is color variation... which in a way makes it half-hearted grind.

... can't count the times I've seen healing Mercs/Commando's tanking 3-4 people and live long enough for their team to come and save them. Sigh.

My marauder hit Dark V and used only Vette while leveling and was able to romance her. I did choose the occasional LS points (not for Vette but for rational reasons) but was still able to get her affection up with other options. I found that she likes: 1) Humorous remarks. 2) She might like it when you kill someone based on who they are or why you're killing them. (She doesn't like mindless slaughter or the slaughter of innocence). 3) When you mock authority. 4) When you're in it for the money. 5) When you consult with her for advice. 6) And ofc when you treat her nice. IMO, best romance-able companion I've seen yet and most convincing. You actually have to work for her affection as she slowly warms up to you, unlike other companions where they're eager to hop in the sack at the slightest sign of favoritism.
