  1. Ok than, so here is the question: WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH JEDI SENTINEL PVP ARMORS?! currently these are most ridiculous armors in entire game which don't have ANYTHING in common with Star Wars. I check the pictures for 1.2 and... it's still exactly the same BS. At first I thought it's just a smuggler armor with wrong description pasted on it, but no.... it's really a jedi knight armor. Why the heck most iconic type of character in entire lore wears armors that look like taken from... god knows where. Certainly not from Star Wars anyway. At least PvE armors can be in some way pulled towards Star Wars, although most of self-respecting knights wouldn't wear this anyway. Can't you just simply make something that's a robe with cool armor parts underneath? Is that such a magic? Take new PvE trooper armor, remove silly helmet, add hood and robe on top of it - and suddenly you got Knight armor that people will dream of. Seriously: what the heck?! ps. No: I don't play Jedi Knight but my eyes bleed each time I see people running in these idiotic armors.
  2. Yea, I also hate an idea of Sith army running with blue lightsabers in the fleet. but keep in mind that TOR is placed in pre-ruusan period which strictly allows everyone to use any saber color they want. It's the lore that made it. After the ruusan battles it's not possible anymore and from now on the split between light and dark side colors begins. But what I hate most is an idea of loads of Sith Purebloods in the republic - cause that's what Legacy will allow. Making a Jedi Knight Sith Pureblood.
  3. Yep, that could work, and was suggested many times along with "re-supply" packs which would give additional "uses" of the item. Good stuff. Perhaps that's what BioWare plans - don't know.
  4. It generates costs: Repairs. At the end-game repair bills belong to one of highest costs in game (as guys pointed out in summit). Yet as I said: ________________ As they said: Lack of supply with high demand means you have a huge chance to earn loads of money before 1.2 comes out, and by this get ready for new content
  5. You see, these ain't just re-usables, like an armor that you can use over and over again. These are consumables. Things you eat. And they are reusable consumables. It never made sense. But personally: I wouldn't mind craftable armors to wear-off over time, get permanently broken. Especially when orange armor will be valid all the way from lvl12 to lvl50. IMO this would be VERY health for economy if balanced properly.
  6. HELL YEA! :D :D :D Finally. The news right from guild summit - something that was expected to come for a long while - Reusables will phase out from the game over time to give away space for user-crafted economy. No more eternal running with biochem after jumping through professions, no more profession with no costs, no more nonsense of "consumable-reusable" no more this whole crap. Good. Everyone use mats, everyone pay for buffs, everyone start to stand on a similar ground, including the PvP. Joy.
  7. Best change for me? Legacy will start working. Worst change for me? Armies of Sith in the Republic! ***?!
  8. Hell yea! Forget about Star Wars Forget about Immersion, let's fill the Republic with Sith! EPIC FAIL BioWare.
  9. I got better system than you do, it's optimized from gaming (so no garbage) and I still have problems with FPS. I don't know how much you play, but as long as I was just questing I thought that this game is all fine. Than I reached lvl 50 and went to Ilum. 10 FPS was best result I got in battle there. After that I run FRAPS with FPS counter and discovered something more: Opening any window kills your FPS freezing game for a very short moment. If you'll keep smashing key (open inventory) you'll go down to as low as 2 FPS. YEP: TWO FRAMES PER SECOND. So don't tell me you or this game don't have FPS issues. It does. I can bet that, if someone would manage to run TOR in it, the game would drop below 10 FPS even on Cray Jaguar if you'd try to open/close inventory fast enough.
  10. +1. Gap between not-geared and BattleMaster-geared player is already WAY too huge and in simple duels 1v1 there's not a chance to win against geared player, regardless how good you are and how poor they are. Especially if they got at least single healing skill and know how to use it. Adding any better gear than than would essentially break PvP as it exists. Not even saying about utteler dumbness of any ranked warzones or arenas released in current state of expertize. It will be about "who is battlemaster on my server" not "who has a skill".
  11. Yea, it's gonna be expensive, but considering the fact that you can crit-craft Aspiring Knight's Armor - market will be FLOODED with people selling best-armors-in-game for anyone by simply making low-level items crit. Expenses are very low while income quite nice. The major problem is that: 1. there are too few orange armors. And these for Armormech are... bad in almost every case while these for synthweaving are... not as bad, but still poor.
  12. We all are perfectly aware that it's only till 1.2. It changes exactly: nothing. And: Yea, we need to put a work in crystal itself, but it removes half of the fun people had with World Bosses. And these folks collecting all the schematics to be a bit of an "unique crafters" (something BioWare wanted to create in a first place) are now completely screwed by pricing all their effort at 250k FOR NO REASON. There is nothing to justify giving away magenta schematics from vendor. Yes, nothing. 1. They already HAVE established way of obtaining them, one that doesn't collide with ANYTHING and gives people a reason to actually go and hunt for World Bosses - with schematics vendored there isn't any real motivation for it. 2. It's not a money sink. 250k is like.... 1 day for dailies - how do they plan to sink any money from economy when earning money to obtain all 3 magenta crystal schematics will take less time than this patch will be online in a first place. So... what the heck BioWare?! You just make poo on people's head just for a sake of making it?! Problem is two fold: 1. It changes exactly nothing. At lvl50 there's still NO money sinks to help remove cash pumped-in by dailies. And to make it more funny: Patch 1.2 as far as we know it will make it only worse by adding new series of dailies and allowing crafters to stock-up money in huge amounts thanks to orange-crafting. 2. There are better ways for it than allowing ppl to buy rare items AND removing restrictions from items AND screwing Artifice economy - as if it wouldn't be bad enough already.
  13. You should add the fact that currently there are no craftable orange bracers, and we don't know if there will be any added in 1.2.
  14. I guess that's because every single guy who reached lvl 50 while ago will have it. 2.5M isn't much and I bet whites will be much more common than Magentas are right now. Yea... BioWare just said everyone farming World Bosses were greatest idiots so far in this game. Pity that it ends in such a pathetic way. Remark: NEVER thrust patch notes. Always look for things yourself. Almost every single patch so far got undocumented changes / nerfs / balancing / additions. Currently on public test server version 1.1.5 has a vendor selling schematics for 250k CR. (along with, for example, a social speeder without social requirement anymore - so.. yea, this part of "uniqueness" was taken away too).
