  1. I can't believe with all the patches so far that non one chance to tab targeting has occurred. Not even an option to change the method so we don't remove the current way if some like it.
  2. It would be nice if a PTR person could shed some more light on this abilities restrictions and stats. I tried to post on the PTR forums asking for more info but BW has deleted it twice now saying it was not relevant...
  3. I'd like to know more about this ability specifically. Whatever you do though, don't ask on the PTR forums - the mods have deleted the post twice now due to it somehow "not being relevant to the ptr"...nevermind that it needs to be tested to make sure it's not giving an unfair advantage.
  4. I like the idea of a gap-closer for Ops, but the original idea in the post strikes me as too powerful. It's basically a warrior leap for Operatives with a speed increase. I suspect it would make huttball running extremely easy - and a pretty short suggested cooldown. Personally I would be happy if we had the same darn sprint Assassins/Shadows have.
  5. Thank you for the info! Should be nice to be able to share and use other's UI designs!
  6. Is there a way to send someone a 'configuration file' related to the UI so people can share their UI layout with friends?
  7. I used to assume it was whatever player was closest to the center of the marker icon on the ground. However, recently I've seen an enemy on the edge get it while I was standing almost dead center in the circle...so I don't know.
  8. A friend and I had an epic battle in an Alderaan warzone against a few Watchmen members last night. Didn't take our 2nd turret till late but we won in the end by a very small margin. I've lost the love for 50 PvP with my BH, he's mostly heals for Ops. I've got my mid 40s Operative "Snides" I will bring in when he hits 50. Recently I've gotten too distracted playing my Assassin though.
  9. I rarely see other people talking smack in /say. Maybe once a week a single sentence. I very rarely PvP with that character now. Honestly, you took the fun out of 50 PvP both from your inability to die, and my earlier experience with you. I use that char for PvE pretty much exclusively and play PvP on low level alts which I find more fun. I'll take you off /ignore next time I log on as your forum demeanor warrants a 2nd chance at the very least. /salute.
  10. I'll 2nd this. Not to be overkill on this point but the poster is absolutely right. I've played against you and you are an absolute d-bag every match. You were so bad that you became the first person (of only 2) in the entire game that I've put on the ignore list after listening to you be a clown in /say channel. It's depressing that people are so disrespectful that they act like this even in games. It's contagious too, as when we beat you I want to (and have occasionally - though not proud of it) done it back to you in revenge. I've watched your videos and learned a ton, as the other poster said I hope you change and stop being such a jerk as you would be a great asset to the community. Again though, good videos and it's taught me a lot while I'm leveling my Assassin alt. Edit: Oh sorry, I mildly necroed this, didn't see you had a #3 post for the video, just got to it through youtube.
  11. Just beware, SWTOR uses the CPU far far far more than it does the video card. I have a GTX 560i and I still get frame rate in the teens in some warzones. This is due to me having a non-gaming friendly new AMD FX CPU. Your CPU has the largest effect on gameplay in this sort of game that deals with more computations than graphical elements. (What I'm saying is it's very possible you'll spend the money to upgrade the video card and not see much, if any, increase in frames.)
  12. He's a little wrong. They are a 1hr cooldown (even though the item does not state that until you use it). However they are on a different cooldown than your emergency fleet pass too. Well worth the 1k credits a pop.
  13. Ugh, these responses are so pathetic. It has little to do with indecision, but rather the needs of the group. Your group of friends may not have a healer this evening, and since your class can heal (though you're normally DPS spec) you can respec to help them do a flashpoint. Or vice-vera, perhaps you have an influx of Healers online at the moment, and not enough DPS to take the bosses down before they enrage. One of the healers could respec to be DPS for the flashpoint. It's about helping out the group. Some people prefer to be selfless and help others out where needed when they can.
  14. I think Dual specs are badly needed. As a Merc I often have to fill the role we need at the moment, either DPS or THE healer for the groups (hard modes). I also love to PvP, but hate Healing spec in PvP. I would love to see a dual spec system implemented, but in the meantime let's figure out a temporary solution. Suggestions for the meantime until the programming of dual spec can by implemented: Max cost of respeccing (10k, 25k?) Add a 1-time large cost item that you can buy that will give you free respecs? $250,000 credits for token you consume that will allow you to have free respecs (for X amount of time?) Add the option from trainer to "revert to previous spec" for a reduced cost (10k, instead of normal respec cost). Have the respec cost reset daily? Most probably will agree we don't need to respec more than once a day. Just throwing out suggestions. Any of these would be better than what we have now and probably faster to implement than a whole new dual-spec system.
  15. There's a bug that it always shows the cost of the respec even though it's free. If you wait a week between respecs it supposedly resets to 0, however the trainer still says the actual price. When you respec if you check your log/inventory you'll see it charges you 0 credits though. Devs responded about this being a bug some while back, but I can't find the post.
