Since the latest patch ( and maybe before) if you are running a mission and try to learn the same mission to run it again, it just consumes the mission. The amount of return has been fixed but this bug has returned( stayed around?)

The lack of mission types/within categories has been around since day 1. The workaround used in the past has been to cause an instance load. ie: leave ship, look at available, enter ship, look at list. That type of change can cause a reload of missions and get a change. It doesn't always work, but if you have enough time you can usually get what you want even if it isnt the severity (moderate/rich etc) you want.

As reported in this bug update, this is a known bug.

Currently all Purple missions are bugged. This is known to BW with no fix date yet.

I would agree with you except the "This is a Bug" post predates the "no timeline" post. and the latest post does not mention wether or not the introduced bug will be corrected before the CHANGE they want to introduce is implimented.

6 months might be a fair amount of time if we didn't have military personnel sent to areas with no connectivity available for extended periods of time. Would you take their characters names also?

This is true for Tier 3,4,and 5. Tier 1 is cheaper from the vendor than a crit from missions. Tier 2 is about a wash on price depending on crits.

Some time ago I found this site SWTOR:Crafter .I'm not sure if it has been updated lately but even so the amounts should be fairly close if not exact.

I agree with this. I was in early access and created 16 toons. 8 on Krath and 8 on The Jek Jek Tar. I transferred some off each server to Harbinger which is the only destination server allowed for both. I now have 2 left on TJJT and 6 on Krath which are both dead. I would like to be able to consolidate these onto another server.

It must have been PTS forum. I just tried adding Armor and mod to a leggings orange crafted by that character and it still wouldn't let me RE it.

I read a while back, not sure if it was PTS forum or here, that you could RE crafted Orange gear if you added any 1 Mod. They didn't say whether the level of the mod affected the reclaimed mats. I did a /bug and was basically told WAI.

Basically "no research available" means that you have already learned all schems possible from that item.
