  1. Hi. Yes, I hate the Lifeday event. I hate it every year. I accept that people like it and I do not mind that they like it. I do not want them to stop having their event, but I would very much apreciate a valid option not to be part of their event pretty similar to every other event, where participation is opt-in not all-in. What I am looking forward to: An item or buff similar to the anti-Rakhghul serum, which prevents any snoballs being thrown at the wearer of item/buff either by the ability or the cannon (or the freaking NPCs!). The buff would be immediately canceled, when the user throws a snowball themselves, while the item would outright prevent any throwing of snoballs, as to make it fair. This would still allow all snowball-enthusiasts to play their gamem and it would all all grinches like myself to play the normal game and leave the christmas madness to the real world and relish in the peaceful StarWars world without being annoyed every single step you take in public. The icing on the cake would be an item, that automatically kills anyone who throws a snowball at you, but I can understand, that I will never get that Aa added goodie, I would like an option to kill the Wookiee-vermin instead of hugging them.
  2. So much recovery, you will be tired of recovering!
  3. Sorry, but hat must be a BAD JOKE. The Server was running fine, I could play without lag and nothing returned to normal, I was just disconnected with a lot of other players.
  4. And here we go again... playing from last diso till right now with absolute no lag, then as if someone flipped a switch, Disoneect, nothing works anymore. Also my char once again had no Cnquest running while on Onderon, while another char (in the same guild) had worked on the conquest just fine. Seriously Not funny. anymore.
  5. Since my last post I was able to play normally, switched chars a few times, did a story OP, all worked fine. Now back on the original first char of the day and finally went to Ossus.... and Conquest is turned off again. Conquest window shows 4861 / 0 points, the golden lock with NO TIME till next conquest. AND guild invasion claims, that I do no longer have a flagship (which my guildies claim is still there and working fine). That conquest display bug ONLY happens on Ossus for me. I ported to fleet and immediately the conquest was shown just fine. (I was also not able to go to my fortress from Ossus, but am able to got here from fleet) Went back to Ossus to check and conquest window is broken again.
  6. Todays problem I experienced in order: - I was logged on my main earlier, when the problems started. Managed to get Onderon done (6 missions). - Tried to switch to Ossus by activity finder. did not work, server problems started, had to relog - returned a couple minutes later, went to NarShadaar fortress, switched char. - other char stayed on Fortress, server problems forced relog. - same char logged in again, suddeny was located on Ossus (which was NOT the last location before going to fortress for him) - char did 10 missions on Ossus, then tried to return to Fortress... does not work (none of them works). While on Ossus, Conquest window did show "Conquest on ovaluation, next conquest in [no time shown]". Conquest points collected on Ossus did not count for this week. - char could relocate to Onderon without problems. - wrote this post - was able to return to fortress and leave to Onderon without problem
  7. While the majority of players on T3 is probably able to read and write fluently in english, there is no way to expect any of them (or us) to do so on the german server... which is the reason, why anyone, who cannot read/write german is definitely better served on the english servers, even if english is not their native language (unless it is french then it is obviously the french servers). Every now and then, there is an english message in fleet chat on T3 (and has been the same on VC), but it is rare and unfortunately gets shouted down real fast. But as I said above, the primary language of the server is german, so the chat will be dominated by german and there is no way to expect different. As for the question.. there are defiitely swiss and austrian players on T3, not sure, if that is what you meant
  8. But actually.. what we DO read in the opening post is a misunderstanding of the system... You CAN use both ways, you do not NEED to use both. Case A: PvP/GSF only: - you do your regular PvP/GSF matches all day long and you get pieces... you bring them to a shop and get your tier 1 shiny for it. - you do more PVP/GSF and collect more pieces... you bring them to another shop and upgrade the tier 1 shiny to tier 2 shiny... and repeat that to tier 3. Your command level does not need to be 300 (or even 181, where tier 3 does start) to have plenty of command tokens for the shops to turn your pieces into shiny. Case B: No PvP/GSF at all: - you do everything but pvp/gsf... run dailys, run OPs... and you get command boxes for each lvl... from 181 onward it is tier 3 boxes (being 300 does not mean anything more than being 181). You also get tokens from the OP bosses. - you bring your tokens from the OPs to the shop and get the shiny you want.. at the tier corresponding the difficulty level you mastered (yes, we do no longer get NiM gear for doing Karagga or Soa... and I do not mind that at all) - you also make command levels and will occasionally (very random!!) get a piece of equip that you can actually use. You do not need to make a single pvp or gsf match to get fully Tier 2 outfit (I know it, cause I have it.. yes I was lucky) and you make CL easily just by playing the game.. I am having a hard time spending the command lvl tokens needed for the shop to turn in the OP tokens... I could as well stop leveling command lvl, I got plenty (and I am not even 200) Case C: A mix: - you collect your tokens from OPs - you pvp and/or gsf and collect pieces - you turn the tokens in for the items on tier 2 and upgrade them with pvp/gsf for tier 3 Again, you do not need to be CL 300 to get equipped. The system is still pretty alt unfriendly and it takes a lot longer than 4.0 to get full nightmare gear, but the main point of the OP simply is wrong.
  9. That is what I was wondering too... Just came home from work, wanted to play, saw the dev tracker messages... but they are many hours old and so the question is... why are the servers still (or again?) down?
  10. Leadership is tied to a running subscription. Has always been that way. The moment your subscription dropped (not due to a mistake on Biowares part as far as I understand you), you were no longer a valid guild-leader of a guild that had at least one active subscriber. If that other guy is indeed inactive, you can wait for their subscription to drop... if it does, guild leadership will automatically return to a subscriber of your guild... not necessarily you, if there are other subscribers but you. If that other guy is active somehow, you can ask them to return guild ownership to you... if he refuses however, there is little that CS can do for you, as the guild ownership did not change due to a bug, but due to the rules (if these rules are good or bad does not matter at this point, they are in place). Hopefully you do not have members, who would not willingly return ownership to you, if they got the chance.
  11. Do we have to press that button, or will it be automatic? Seriously though, some fights would be a little bit more than just "challenging", if Master Mode really means "no interruption+no stun" at all, as some mechanics simply need to be interrupted to not die.
  12. Okay, even with SW and TRON both being owned by Disney, why in the world do you want elements of TRON in a starwars game??
  13. That fight is the most unbalanced fight in game (and one of the hardest solo encounters) either in heal or tank class. I tried it as shadow a couple times and failed, then switched to my healer and failed even more. It turned out to be a game of luck, all depending on how stupid Acinas KI would turn out. She got the habit to intentionally get into melee range to the boss regardless of her stance (even as healer, where she does not need to be close) and sure will catch the AOE fire from the boss, which will either kill her outright or keep her busy with healing only herself. I finally managed that fight as a shadow by firt putting one add to sleep, pull the boss, kill the other add, stealth out of fight (if you do not leave the room, the add will not get rezzed). Then rezz Acina, heal up, kill the other add, stealth out. Heal out, rezz Acina again and finally I could concentrate on killing the Boss (without add interference). Still took a couple of tries to keep Acina out of the danger zone and still have her heal me. I swore the holy oath to never try that fight on veteran again. How to do that on a healer, when your own companion turns out to be your worst enemy, is beyond me.
  14. To copy a certain american phrase: "Subscribers first!" F2P people are not paying for the service, so adding anything for them should be the absolute lowest priority ever. The workflow should always be to add stuff for subscribers, then check, what can also be available for preferred and then check, what is 1-2 years old and can be given to F2P players also. Please remember that a player, who ever bought cartel coins is automatically no longer a F2P player, so do not use that old argument "but some F2P spend more money on the game than subscribers". It just is not true. Some preferred might, but a F2P did not spend ANY money on the game and as such they do not deserve anything but the bread crumbs that fall of the table of subscribers and preferred players.
  15. Funny, when I started playing IMP stories, I always missed the kind of Emperor-Palpatine-Mastermind-Evil in any of the story and instead was seeing a ton of 5-year-old childish evil, which soon made me feel more like a clown than like an evil Mastermind. Sure, I got to kill a lot of people on the Imp side, but the only part, that remotely borders on having a plan is by pulling Jaesa to the dark side.. and that is a companion story, not a class story. Over all eight storys (and including KOTFE and KOTET and uprisings), the most beloved word of the story dialogue dev seems to be "scum". As a republican, I am called scum by about every imp available, and even in the imp-story it happens a few times. If the sith empire could for a few days behave like grown ups, they would have a real chance to rule the galaxy, until then, they will remain a laughable kids-club.
