  1. Whelp. Grass turned to 0, and i even patched to past that patch on W10, and just got a crash on corusant. Seems like something else might also cause it. Becuase those changes/update DID definately help far fewer crashes on flight paths.
  2. If Grass is the answer you guys are gonna make my day.... I have been debugging my system hardware for 2 days now trying to figure out what could be causing it. Also gonn aupdate to lastest windows 10 build see if that helps.
  3. My Rigs Spec: Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z97X--UD5H-BK CPU: Haswell i7 4770k with stock clocks GPU: EVGA 780ti Classified memory: 16GB 4x4gb GSKILL Ripjaws SSD: 2x 840 Evo's one for game files one for operating system 850W coarsair hx850 power supply. This seesm to happen on older planets. it has never happend on a pvp bike, or a raid bike. What happens is my computer simply turns off completely. No blue screen no errors, not even a stutter. just BOOM off. then it starts booting up again. At first I thought it might be a Power supply issues. But after running some calculators i have determined that my max off the wall with everything running at max would be 550W. so i am WELL over my power usage needs. Even so i have ordered a new power supply to test with. it should be here on wednesday. Next i thought i might be GPU Load failures of some kind. Although usually that results in graphic crashes wtih errors. not just straight to boot up crash. Anyways i tested the GPU at full load in multiple stress tests and was never able to replicate the result. I have also enver experienced this bug in any other game. I ahve tried the previous 7 versions of the GPU drivers as well to no avail. Next was memory. I have 4 sticks in the pc and the mobo supports 2 or 4 slot configs. So tried every combo of sticks to see if it might be a specific stick. I also tried every bay config that the mobo supports. Still crashing. Next was CPU. Stress tested on prime95 for 3 hours. No crash, but still crashing in game. Turned off turbo clocking in bios. Still crashing. Next was SSD's maybe the read sector for flight points was somehow corrupted and causing a system fault. Nope turns out that wasn't the case either. I copied all of my game files over to the second ssds and tried again to teh same results. just to be thorough I copied them over to my 7200 RPM 3 TB sotrage drive and gave it a go. Same result. Bios update also tried on the MOBO. At this point the only thing that i haven't test is a new motherboard, because i don't have one lying around. However given the facts I don't think it is a fault in my rig. I have never had this happen in any other game ever. It ALMOST always happens on flight paths on older planets. I ahve actually not tried teh flight paths on the fleet as i just fast travel around. Any assistance or ideas would be most helpful. thanks.
  4. NEVER MIND.. It seems to be a ui bug. there is some really big delay sometimes for updating companion tabs.
  5. So i am trying to get my qyzen fully geared. he is in mostly black hole now but i just realized that his stats have stopped going up.... here is an example. I pulled a +27 end crystal out of his main hand weapon and put in a +41 crystal. There was no stat gain from this change. Is this intended or a bug?
  6. "turret" dps is terrible.. always will be always has been. why do you think you see so few Gunnery commando's. Balance/madness can still do some REALLY good burst if you know how to play it. and it is about 10x's as sturdy because you can actually kite worth a damn, and still do great dmg. I can still do really well in warzones. It would be really unbalanced to give a class great kite potential and then also give them unreal burst. I think the dps sage is a in a good position at the moment. That being said i would never bring them into a ranked warzone because there are other classes that are better at bursting things down. Another HUGE factor in why i don't like DPS sages is they are easy to los. it is the same problem with Slingers, and commando's you can cut their dps to zero by simply walking around a corner.
  7. Have you actually played a sage in pvp? i ran deep Seer for a really long time, and guess how much healing you get out of salvation. Pretty much jack **** because people don't know how to stay in the circles. Benefits of Deep Seer tree: Aoe heal that no one ever stands in. Increased bonus healing by 6% Benefits of 21, 18, 2: 15 second shorter force lifte CD 2 second longer interupt lockouts, this is HUGE when tyring to help out on killing healers. forcwave roots for 5 seconds, makes kiting those try hard sentinals loads easier. force armor explodes and stuns everyone for 3 seconds, again really nice when being focused. Long story short. there are better casts to be casting than salvation, and if you are playing in ranked games where your healers actually have a chance to cast a 2 second cast. You are probably playing against a terrible team. The gains both offensively and defensively by going split spec FAR outweigh the benefits of salvation spec. our sages are still easily hitting 6-700k healing without it and they are much less squishy.
  8. I am sorry but you could not be more wrong. If we are talking "good players here" then no "good" play is ever going to let a 2.3 second cast go off. The 1.5 second cast that we do have crits for an epic 2k in pvp pretty sure tpyro tech dots crit for about that same amount. None of that is taking into account the unholy amount of interupts cc's and stuns in the game, Your point about utility is all well and good except remember you and i are talking about "good" players. Force speed: oh let me yank you right back to me, or leap to you with 2 second build in root, or force choke you, or any of ther 10000 cc's there are. Force armor: get real. 3k dmg is nothing when dps are hiting for 5k over and over again. Force wave + slow: this is the only one that i will give you. but it breaks on 1 point of dmg so if you don't tell your team ahead of time that you're doing it.. it doesn't matter anyways. Ranged slow: yeah again.. sorry but every class has a counter. 1/2 you people saying that say OP is just crying have never played a healer, you just think those green numbers popping up over your head come from a magical *********** fairy that blesses you because your dps is SOOO OMG UBER. Any decent dps can pressure a helaer so hard it makes him pretty much useless in the current state of the game. If we don't just kite and run away the whole time we die instantly. So the question is why have healers at all? really... you will never stay alive against a well co-ordinated team.
  9. Um Assault spec is the most snare heavy spec in game... you should reword your comment to "gunnery commandos" are terrible in pvp.. assualt commandos are pretty decent.
  10. Are you high? my sorc dies SOO fast in open ground anymore it's silly. I can get crit for 5K+ back to back to back and i have 1300 expertise. Also if you just hit 50 you have no place complaining that you can't kill a fully war hero healer.. there is a reason that healer is way stronger than you.. its called he has done about 1000more warzones and got the gear as reward. A healer that doesn't have a tank babysitting him is basically just a deadweight on your team. damage is so unreal high you just get crumbled the moment 2 competent dps get on you. It's funny that you complain that CC is to good in the game and then you go on to mention that healers are unkillable a juggernaut with all his cd' sup can almost solo a healer before they can get off a single spell..
  11. the problem right now is damage outputs.. if you don't have a guard/tank taunting for yuo.. a good 2 dps can melt any healer in seconds
  12. Lets be honest. the story got boring at level 50.. the ops story is subpar, and we have no real feel for what is supposed to be happening next. We should have something to be striving for through patches 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 etc. but we have no theme right now. we are not fighting back to horde of evil, the story just lacks scope.
  13. This is a good point but it comes back to that not being the design of an mmo. By purely this logic you are accepting the fact taht your player base will play for 1-5 months then cancel because the "jouney" has been experienced. If there was actually enough people on servers to PVP there would be mroe reason for some people to stick around, but as it stand people can only pvp for about 1 hours a night on some server if pvp ever pops at all. The point the OP was making was that the game lends itself to being a solo game. so why are we paying for a subscription model? why not just take the whole thing offline and buy expansion packs as they come out.
