  1. It actually adds so much replayability to the original class stories tbh.
  2. Okay so, I had originally tried using a virtual machine, like Parallels to play the game and, it barely ran on the lowest settings and it was just about completely unplayable - I was starting to think I wouldn't be able to play the game UNTIL... I found out about Whiskey! Specifically, this video! There's just about nothing to install, the video is still useful as the guy talks you through everything, but it is all pretty autonomous to install everything. I am playing the game through Steam - because for some reason Whiskey doesn't seem to want to install the client from the official site, not a huge issue since now I got Steam. But, long story short, the game is running PERFECTLY, and on ultra settings. So, ignore every VM like Parallels and everything like that, Whiskey is 1000% the way to go to play Windows games / Steam on Mac. For reference, I'm on the Mac M2 Mini.
  3. Alright, so I need opinions. What map do you guys think I should use. Is that compass map that important? I could probably shrink it down a little to fit it between my portrait bar and the enemy portrait bar?
  4. Pretty much my throughts, too. Obviously, the abilities are going to change with almost every character (duplicate classes not withstanding) so that's probably good enough. You could possibly optimize a healer and tank UI, but I'm unsure how much of an advantage that would give opposed to what you are already use to.
  5. As the title says, I am pretty heavy into the roleplay scene, and with my return I would love to find a new heavy RP guild, either well established, or just starting out, or if you are interested we can start a new one together and come up with some lore for it. The guild having a Discord is also preferable.
  6. DEFINITELY recommend a smaller keyboard... Do MS do small keyboards? because it seriously makes things so much easier, but then I DO have little baby hands lmao.
  7. Hi y'all, recent returnee to the game, and an old founder. For this UI I wanted something super clean, almost cinematic / in the same vain of a KOTOR-esque layout. The smaller mac keyboard makes things sooo much easier to press multiple keys so I'm essentially able to use any combination that there is.
  8. Before I stopped playing, I believe the "RP" server, or where it occured most was on Star Force so I was wondering if that had changed.
  9. Sooo, not technically a new player since I am returning. I am now a Mac user so I didn't really have anyway to play SWTOR, until now and learning about parallels lmao. Holy frick the game has changed, a lot! As I was making a test bounty hunter to test how the game runs parallels (pretty dang good for a virtual machine and pretty dang smooth) I come to find out that I'm able to be a scoundrel, as a bounty hunter, like, what? My old main main on Ebon Hawk is a scoundrel! So I guess I should come here and ask y'all to give me a run down on how the game has changed and what I can expect? Also, as a huge RPer, is RP still a thing (PLEASE tell me it is!) and if so what is the RP server?
  10. Oh my mistake, I thought they just had to speak basic!
  11. If you understand what the titles references, I love you, ya beautiful weeb! But, I'm starting to think that this could be the next playable species. I didn't think we would see Nautolans become playable, I thought Togrutas would be as "alien" as we would get, but I think Nautolans opens things up further, and eventually Mon Calamari. Some armor sets won't show up on them, obviously, just as Kriea's hood being down on a Nautolan. I also don't think they would "lose" a popularity contest. I'm still holding out hope that we get Evocii playable, but I think Mon Calamari are the most likely candidates
  12. These are basically my thoughts, too, and people have just got to accept that "Disney" is not the problem. Sure, the sequel trilogy is God awful; we are all in agreement about that. However; it isn't ALL bad, the Mandalorian proves this and Disney+ just seems to be doing Star Wars right, from Ahsoka, the Obi-Wan series, to re-canon-izing Thrawn, and other shows to come such as Star Wars: Andor, Star Wars: The Acolyte, the Bad Batch, the High Republic series, the Book of Boba Fett. imo, you (general you) have just got to ignore the sequel trilogy, because Disney+ has been doing some darn good work (I think to make up for the sequel trilogy). Disney has just got to give the projects to the right people, Filoni being an obvious choice to take over, but also Tiger Waititi and Deborah Chow. Especially, after the season 2 final of Mando, I'm pretty confident we'll be getting a certain series.
  13. I don't think it would interfere, at least imo, I think of each of your CaCs being in the same, but different universe. So, while they all might come across the same people throughout their journey's none can exist in the same universe. They would have the same personalities, as the CaC of a different universe, but should be treated more as a "Customizable" NPC. I l o v e this idea, too! But, there's probably other issues why this wouldn't work. Still, it doesn't hurt to dream!
  14. Well, I mean wasn't Ossus (5.10) supposed to be kinda sorta like an "in between" of 6.0. They probably have much more for Ossus planned, considering it was the gateway planet for the next expansion.
