  1. Looking for a balanced server, pvp wise. Are there any servers that have a fair balance of republic vs empire? Just got done with a night of getting face rolled by group after group of level 50's as a republic on The Razor while in groups of mostly teens. After a week of "it'll get better" thinking it's finally starting to get old.
  2. Covered that before you posted. But thanks.
  3. No, I'm saying that WoW and EQ were more sandbox style, which means that you had more freedom to go to different places at any given time. This game is more linear and story driven. I'm not really sure where you got that. *edit* And even they weren't pure sandbox style games. Not many of those have existed. Ultima Online was pretty much pure sandbox style. But I will say this, I didn't make this thread to define what a sandbox is. If you don't know what it is, I wasn't talking to you.
  4. There were no secrets kept during the making of this game. I knew what kind of game it was going to be 6 months or more ago. This is not going to be like wow or EQ or other games, it's going to more guided and story driven. But does that mean it will always be completely linear? Probably not. All games evolve. Play through this story line now and maybe when new content is added we'll get new story lines to choose from.
  5. Look, we get it, some people prefer sandbox style mmos. We understand that, but some of us like the story driven side of SWTOR ok? Not being a sandbox does not make the game bad, or worse, or doomed, or whatever other words that the umpteen hundred complaints about SWTOR along this lines call it. It's just different. But be mature about it, please? Just say it's not your style of mmo and move along. It doesn't help, or otherwise make anything different or better to make yet another thread complaining that it isn't a sandbox. Thanks.
  6. tbh, the only way my second suggestion would affect the main story line is by having people who choose to do the other planets first be a few levels higher than the norm for the main quest. And, speaking purely for myself, I would have zero problem with doing the story driven main class quests at a few levels too high. To avoid people leveling too high on the extra system planets just make the planets unavailable until a certain level of class quest is done or some such.
  7. I'm sure people have mentioned something like this before, but after a quick glance at the first few pages I couldn't find anything to reply to along this line. If I missed one...oops. Anyway. I love the game, the few things that bug me will surely be fixed in the next couple patches, so no changes I'd really want from what we have. So there are just two things that I'd like to bring up here. One is very simple, and one is probably expansion level, so no rush . First, I'd like see something implemented to recall directly to my ship. If this is in the game already at a later level, sorry, but I'm only level 25 and there have been quite a few times that recalling to the spaceport then running back to the hanger, zoning, then running through the hanger to my ship gets a bit tedious. Second, and like I said, this is probably expansion level, but I'd like to see more systems per level. Nothing to change or affect the main story quest line, but perhaps a planet or two per level range just to quest and have fun in, perhaps sub story lines. Would give people a lot more freedom of choice...and that's always a good thing.
