  1. You guys are lucky. I've tried to upload the new patch and the launcher just waits a minute before an error message that reads: "This application has encountered an unspecified error. Please try this patch again." And I can't repair the launcher, because it's not trying to upload anything?
  2. Nope, go to the store tab on this site and look how much CC cost to buy directly - it is EXACTLY $60.
  3. For myself, I can say that I got 8 of the last pack. Out of those 8 packs, 2 had only GCC's in them - no pack items at all. Of the remaining 6 packs, only 1 had 2 items from the pack, the rest had 1 pack item and 1 GCC. So out of 8 packs, I only got 7 items from the actual pack, and 9 GCC's. and those GCC's are usually not worth opening. All in all, I'm glad that all I used was my complimentary CC, because ... yikes.
  4. Honestly, I'm a little more surprised than I should be that they went with the Togruta, which will obviously have massive clipping issues, and not the Voss, who won't have any issues like that at all. But I guess they're considering the Voss to be a little too isolationist to be viable as a player species? At this point I'm not too sure how much I really care about new species, since they've always been adamant about keeping the really iconic species like Wookiees strictly NPC's, and having cyborgs be a species of their own rather than a class never made any sense at all, really. But - given the above, and that they've given us Togruta fianlly - what could they possibly give us as a player species next??
  5. I'll add another vote to the 'hope this is more than just packs and crates going on sale' tally. Random item generators are bunk; I want to see what I'm buying.
  6. I only just discovered that moods change your characters facial expressions in the game. Then I discovered immediately afterward that the mood you select disappears as soon as you log out - I'd been really hoping to log in with all my various toons and select expressions suitable to each to greet me with on the character selection screen, and ended up disappointed when I found I couldn't. So ... could we? You've seen how popular the 'zoomed out' view glitch was with your user base - and the same general aesthetic applies here.
  7. This would be a really useful post for me if I had anything resembling money in my life. I have to run my game with EVERYTHING turned off or down to the minimum possible setting, and even like that I still get so much lag that I'm constantly getting stutter on the stations, even during the slow parts of the day. I imagine this also has some negative affect on my warzone playing as well. I don't even bother with Galactic Starfighter anymore - everything just lags to death so bad I'm either shooting empty air or flying into walls. I damn near cry when I see how pretty this game is on my friend's machine. Mine makes everything look like I'm playing it on a old Nintendo.
  8. Could you also mention the numerous, numerous clipping issues?
  9. I loved seeing the new perspective in my log in screen - much better than the 'way too close' perspective we're used to. I've been playing this game for over a year and I STILL try to scroll the camera's perspective back from my toons face when I'm looking through them in the log in screen! Most definitely make this a feature!! Seriously though, who expected Bioware to publish a glitch we'd be happy about???
  10. How can Bioware not be sure yet if we'll be able to pass BoL gear between toons with Legacy Storage? What kind of stupidity is that? I don't believe them when they say they aren't yet sure - because not doing that would be the same thing as giving themselves an enema with a shotgun - a very messy, very stupid, very spectacular suicide. I've personally always been disappointed with a LOT of things about this game: endless clipping issues, lack of customization in player abilities (why can't a Jedi use a blaster or a bounty hunter swing a lightsaber?), personal appearance, mounts being treated as abilities rather than items, and, well, a LOT of things... ) but this? Honestly I wish they'd just go ahead and make EVERYTHING picked up in the game Bind on Legacy and allow it ALL to be freely traded between your various toons. It still keeps it all of the GTN and it would VASTLY IMPROVE player experience with the game, so where's the beef??
  11. Maybe if mounts were treated as a sub-inventory, allowing us to potentially remove/trade them with other toons in our legacy? As for my regular inventory, mostly they aren't all that full with anything - but I fully recognize that I'm probably one the poorest players currently subbed. Then again, I don't really have all that many mounts either, so... I guess after all is said and done, I just wish that all 'bound' equipment was BoL, so whatever you get could be traded freely around our legacy, and that mounts were treated like equipment as well. But then, I also fully realize that would make Collections completely redundant and useless - and I know they'll never chop down that money tree. A guy can wish though.
  12. I have had an issue with certain cyborg ( series 808 i think? ) head slots disappearing during certain conversations whether you choose to hide them or not - which is occasionally unsettling. I agree that an option to have hood be up or down would be nice. It seems like we've got a lot of options to create unique faces for our characters that are ruined by all sorts of head/chest gear completely obscuring them - except in a few cases where you mean to have them hidden only to have the opposite unexpectedly happen (like with those cyborg heads). Personally I think Twi'lek should have any head gear permanently 'hidden' if equipped. This way Bioware doesn't even have to bother trying to fix all those clipping issues.
