Just a question Georg, why is it that there aren't going to be any new set bonuses? That just seems like really lazy game design when a lot of the fun of getting the next tier of gear is getting a new and different set bonus to go with it.

Also read the first line of their post looking for high level testers. Hello everyone! We are very excited to announce that Game Update 1.2 will be hitting our Public Test Server soon. That states it will be on the PTS

Atplay, they were recruiting testers for high level content. They never said that it wouldn't be on the PTS to let us test lower level and bug test content.

Anyone notice there's no patch this week on the PTS? Here's hoping 1.2 is up on there next week

The reason its in april instead of now, is the system isn't finished yet, they can't transfer characters if the system to transfer them isn't in place

Really, why exactly? look at any other major MMO content patch, a month out from its release they'd been on there for at least another, and are usually quite bugfree at that point. Who wants to take the bet that whatever new operation they put into 1.2 is a buggy mess when it comes in?

Yes, I check the dev tracker every day. They pay a bunch of CM's to post half a dozen things total, usually like 2 sentences each. Hell, look at Monday of this week. The only thing they posted was a post about a blog post. Which was a canned message, no involvement, no community building whatsoever.

oh, and by the way, to people saying, "they need to ask these tech questions to fix bugs" no, they don't. Their TECH's need to be on the forums asking those sort of things. Community Managers are meant to be here to talk to the players, get them engaged, get them wanting to keep playing the game.

-What is a "CM"? Guessing community manager? Cantelope Melon...? Yes, Community Manager. -What canned responses are you talking about? How did they suck? Crap like - Things like that, while I understand are needed to be communicated, we need more communication from them, they don't get involved in conversations properly, they don't' give proper reasoning for in game changes (ie. Surge changes, smuggler/IA changes) they just put them into patch notes and expect us to figure out why they're there. They need to pick up their game and TALK to their customers more.
