  1. Too much of it was personal instances, instead of proper planets with side-quests or daily areas you could visit again and again. It seems such a waste to make all this content and not leave it out there for us to visit when we want. And most of the places you can visit again don't give you much reason to, other than mat gathering. This was too much of a departure from what came before for me. They aren't really game locations, they feel more like movie sets. I think Makeb and Shadow of Revan did this part better. Those expansions left you with ongoing stuff to revisit if you wanted. The newer ones are pretty much one-use, and while I enjoyed them I have no real desire to play them again with alts, so to me it seems like a tremendous waste of resources compared to the old way of doing it.
  2. You should have seen the achievement pop the moment you finished the third one. If it didn't then chances are you didn't get it, probably because you weren't eligible for the daily reward on one or more of the uprisings. If you did them all on the same character on the same day you will have only got 1/3 progress.
  3. I'd like more rewards to be available at the higher end of the Legacy levels. This could be one of them.
  4. I support this request. I don't exactly consider it high priority, but it would be a nice little QoL feature. I use my field repair droid for this all the time, as suggested above. Not because I am allergic to the fleet like the original poster, but more because my characters tend to be parked in strongholds and I am too lazy to want to sit through a loading screen to buy the mats. I get by without this feature, but it would be nice to have a vendor that is permanently hanging around, rather than one I have to summon, doesn't stay for very long, and which then has a cooldown before I can use it again. Also, it sometimes bugs out and won't let me interact with it, but that is another matter. So, yeah, why not? It would be a nice little touch. It's good to get the info out about the repair droid, though. Some of my guildies, who are long-term players who've been around since Day One, had no idea the repair droid had this feature, because they always use the Revan holo-thingies for repairs.
  5. An alternative for the mask is to simply wear it as an outfit piece, over the top of whatever piece of gear you are actually getting your stats from. You can't unfortunately do this with a sabre, unless things have changed in the six months or so that I've been away.
  6. Well I am not American (so take my opinion with a pinch of salt), but I thought she sounded more New Yorkish than southern.
  7. That's not what the yellow text says. Is this Keith person wrong then? You'd think Bioware people would know. But then again...
  8. Well, that's just how it is with MMOs. My advice is to take a break for a while. As far as "stuff to do" goes though, there hasn't ever been a time when there was more to do than there is now.
  9. Because there's nothing at all weird about it, I guess. Need a third thread: "The People You Normally Find In Group Finder."
  10. Apart from all the nameless mooks, who the Jedi characters slaughter in their tens of thousands, without a second thought.
  11. If those people from 2012 haven't figured it out yet, they're never going to.
  12. I have a Rattataki Sage (my first ever character was a Rattataki Assassin back in 2012, so I unlocked it for all classes relatively early on). Nobody ever commented on her species during the class story. I think they all thought she was maybe just a very pale human, or seeing as she almost always wears hats or a hood, that she was the same race as Nadia, whatever the hell that race is. You'd think someone might have brought it up, seeing as she is the daughter of Darth Nox of the Dark Council.
  13. I find doing it with another player to be preferable, simply because it is more fun, but I have soloed them on my somewhat squishy Sentinel. So it isn't impossible and there is no secret. Praetorian never gave me much trouble to be honest, used Heroic moment and the Alliance doodads. The only bit where things have been a bit tricky is the series of rooms just before the final boss fight (the ones with the MGGS-style jumps in between, where Skytroopers keep rushing into the rooms). Learning not to panic, and to use all the tools at my disposal soon fixed them.
  14. Yeah, I had the same thought. Is it a purple quest? If so starting KotFE may well complete it and remove it from your quest list.
  15. Oh really? Fair enough then. Sorry about that. Never tried it. If it makes you feel any better, I have loads of characters who have it sitting in their mission logs, so you won't be alone.
