  1. I'm really impressed at the turn around and obvious effort put into this expansion, and the major turn around in 'what kind of game you want this to be.' So, great job! But, as usual, I have a comment or two on minor implementation items... 1) Lvl 60 Boost and 1-60 Class Quests - I get that you didn't want to implement a system to choose your path for 1-60 class story for these, and I get that you don't want to just 'give' the titles, and other rewardsl to a boost. But, why lock us out of going back and doing the quests if we want to? I don't care that it makes no sense in my character's timeline, I want to be able to get 'Darth' on my character, else there's really no point to a boost, for me. That's an important thing. Just a thought. I did the free boost just to play the story off the bat, but I'll likely not buy another unless this is enabled. 2) I'm disappointed that dyes are still not 'collectible.' A lot of quality of life stuff, but not this. Can I get a what whaaaat? 3) Consider implementing an 'appearance' system akin to what WoW just showed at Blizzcon. Where you can 'collect' the appearance if items and then ditch the actual item. Anyway, looking good, looking forward to further chapters!
  2. Any update on this issue? I'm still having this issue and it's several months later...
  3. Wants to limit player choice just so they can feel l33t. Bioware, please ignore completely!
  4. So when you buy items from the Cartel Market, they are bound to you for lets say about two days. It's like a day and a half, or something, but whatever. What is the purpose of this? I really don't get it. Is it meant to stabilize the market? I mean in STO for instance, I can buy keys and sell them immediately. What is the deal with the enforced delayed gratification? Or...and I just thought of this...is it so that when new stuff comes out, people who want to buy it with credits off the GTN have to wait. I.e. to get the new cool hotness right away, you have to use Cartel Coins?
  5. I know that, it's obvious. But those points will always BE there. Like a STAIN on my SOUL.
  6. Alright Bioware. I can tell you didn't have your best team on the Balmorran mission arc. In the mission "Clearing a Path" where you are meant to get access to the defense grid whoseywhatsit hacking, plot holes, whatever. The choice at the end is: Lightside - Use our one chance at hacking the satellites to find this guy's friends we've never ever met and who we have no earthly reason to believe will help us defeat the empire OR Darkside - Use our one chance to do what we came to do, support the republic troops currently trying to liberate Balmorra from the Empire. Ummmmm. What? Why is that darkside? That makes zero sense. I chose the latter option, because it's what is the greater good. Not that it was even that much of a question of greater good. Help some randoms because this selfish guy wants me to, or help the Republic soldiers by preventing their slaughter. Hmmmmmm. Anyway, bad choice allocation, and I am putting in a GM ticket to get those dark side points REMOVED. See if the GM can be persuaded.
  7. Second row, furthest to the right, that's the one I want! It's called Prophet's something or other.
  8. Alright. If I want to level a sniper, can anyone give me tips for which spec to go down? Any other tips or pitfalls to avoid?
  9. They should just buy STO's space engine from Cryptic. The only work would be in turning the Star Trek ship models into Star Wars ship models. Bam, fun little space combat engine for PvP and even some PvE missions.
  10. ...And why, oh lord of all knowledge, is it that we can do transfers, but not PAID transfers? It doesn't make sense. If you can do a transfer, you can do a transfer.
  11. The whole reason I want a transfer is to unite my two sets of characters that were on different servers because of the initial insane wait times on certain servers. If you have the free transfer tech set up, just implement the pay to transfer service. Come ON!
  12. Except it doesn't actually close and proceeds to give you a code. Sooooo no problem, stop QQing about 3 seconds of waiting. Weak thread, who wrote this trash?
  13. This doesn't make sense. You LIKE having to check in two different places? If you combine the two, you get a better market. Things sell faster, and things sell closer to actual 'value.'
  14. A) Split GTN, under ANY circumstances, is an idiotic idea. As already mentioned in many previous posts, separating out to different places to look for auctions is counter-productve. What is the point? Just combine the market into one unified market, that both empire and rebels can access. Honestly I don't even know what the point of the wow-like separation of factions is, look at EQ, that's the way to do realistic factions. But I digress... B) Putting a GTN kiosk on the ship as a perk is a FANTASTIC idea. HOWEVER, it is still idiotic to split the GTN. People keep saying it won't be used, but do you know that? It is VERY convenient, and it could be the a big group of people will use it just because it IS convenient. So that will split the population and economy again. Best Fix: Make the GTN one thing, cross-faction, at all locations.
  15. What you are describing is called "Hearsay." It isn't admissible in Federal or most State Courts. Mostly. There are about 1 billion exceptions to that rule, and Hearsay is also admissible in almost ALL administrative hearings (which, btw, is where the 'real' law gets made). If it's admissible in Admin. Law hearings, we can probably consider it with at least a modicum of weight here.
