  1. Yes you can. And from my experience you have to hold down the Alt key while typing in the numbers and then release after the numbers are entered and the appropriate letter will show up. I can't remember if it only worked on my number pad or not, but I usually enter them from the number pad.
  2. Change a letter in it to an ascii letter or something. Don't think you can go back.
  3. You're forgetting augments. I sell the heck out of low-mid range augments on my armstech alt. Also sold several critted orange weapons. Even had a decent market for blades but that's dried up. Biochem stuff? I can't sell a damn thing. Any level. Stims don't move, adrenals cost to much to make. I relist implants on the GTN daily. I USED to make credits on implants, I focussed on lower level ones, but it's just not happening with any level of implants now. For me biochem is a wasted skill and I used to really enjoy it. I think the server populations are just to low to really have a viable market for a lot of things any more. If you really want to help yourself, roll a biochemist. Make it on your main for the less than ideal rakatas or supply your own blue prototype consumables from an alt. And to the OP - you keep saying that the reusables are better. And from one of your later posts it seems like you are referring to every reusable from 1-400. Your information there is false or incorrect. I'll just use medpacks as an example. The blue prototype version of the medpacks has a HOT whereas the purple reusable version doesn't have that hot. I'm not talking about Rakata here. I'm just talking about every piece you seem to be referring to. The reusable versions of all of those aren't as good as the blue version. I even have the Rakata versions and I don't use those myself during our Ops. I use the blue counterparts because the ARE better.
  4. Armstech can make augments - they make crit, surge, power and accuracy. (I know this cuz my alt sniper has the skill and makes said augments) Armormech can make augments as well - they make cunning, aim, and honestly not sure what the other two are. (I don't have an armormech) The other augment maker is Synthweaving - they make willpower, strength and not sure what the other two are. (My synthweaver is low level and doesn't make them yet) Armstech imo is nice for leveling if you keep up with it. If you are diligent in collection of materials or have higher level main/alts that can keep funneling materials to your Armstech, you should be in a good position to make very nice purple barrels. You will need a slicer tho to supply you with augment schematics. It's pretty nice to be able to make those for yourself and have them available as you level. Critting yourself a nice weapon with an augment slot is pretty nice for leveling.
  5. I guess you're never going to know when special events are gonna happen if you don't come back to this forum. Have a nice day.
  6. I agree. I love getting surprises in game. The even was up for what, 2 weeks? That seemed to be plenty of time for the people who actually logged on and wanted to participate to get the items they wanted. I hope they continue these kind of events in the future. Was good fun. And additionally, Steven Reid did mention the event in a tweet. It was in response to someone else's tweet so it was really easy to miss. I just happen to see it and knew that the even was starting the next day. So it was on twitter, although it wasn't obvious.
  7. You are no more of a high paying customer than anyone else. Lots of us bought the CE and we don't expect Bioware to do anything special for us. You got what you paid for when you bought your CE. You got what the CE said you would get. You pay the same $15 a month as the rest of us. Get over yourself. If you wanna take a break from the game then do that. If you are really concerned about missing some special events, then make a point to log onto the forums at least once a week and look over the first page of General. I don't feel Bioware did a poor job marketing the event. They didn't market the event. It was a surprise, special event. You really expect to get advanced notice of suprises?? sheesh.
  8. I finally rolled alts so I can gather the resources I need for my main crafting professions. It really has made life easier, but it's still time consuming gathering everything. I also reorganized my crew skills a bit to take advantage of companion crit chances. Unfortunately I didn't think of that when I was doing the main crafting, i.e. it would have been better to have synthweaving on my warrior than my assassin, and I should have done armstech on my smuggler rather than IA. But I did remedy this somewhat with the gathering skills. Takes time, but it's an option.
  9. Pretty sure you can't learn those. You can RE with a chance to learn the schematic from the lvl 26A stuff tho from the campaign gear. I haven't looked at the actual items on the daily vendors in Black Hole but I've heard you can RE and learn those things too.
  10. This is funny. I've noticed it too but thought I was just imagining things!
  11. If they didn't eventually no one would need anything and biochem would have nothing to sell. It's pretty decent to have on an alt your leveling since you obviously have it on a main. Would make it super easy to ship mats to the alt to level it up and they could have the best medpacks and stims available while leveling. That's a really nice boost.
  12. I still get affection points doing the companion quests. However I haven't noticed any points from regular questing.
  13. You might have better luck getting an appropriate answer on the Warrior forums and while you post your question, give the stats of each mod.
  14. I really do try to stay positive and look at the positives in every crew skill (and the game as a whole). But after reading this new information on the addition of augments to non-critted/regular gear - it's starting to sound like one big headache. It seems like it would just be nicer to be able to actually DO something without having to mess with a crafter. We already buy the armor and augments and mods from crafters. Just let us go to an augment table and put the damn agument in the gear! Really, it's just starting to be to much.
