I recently came across an upcoming book for pre-order on Amazon: The Bounty Hunter Code It's an in-universe textbook of sorts, written by the same guy who did the Jedi Path and Book of the Sith books. Both of those were very interesting, in that they each compiled tenants and teachings from various SW figures throughout the SW universe history (including Darth Malgus in the Sith book), and had commentaries scrawled in the margins by other prominent figures. It looks like the book will focus a lot on Mandalorian (and other bounty hunter groups), their philosophy, armor, weaponry, etc., with commentary coming from Tor Vizsla, the Fetts, Aurra Sing, and Hondo Ohnaka. I linked the Vault Edition, which comes with a bunch of stuff that you'll check out once, and then probably hardly ever look at again (though I admit the Jedi locker and Sith holocron look pretty cool just sitting out, so I'll probably like having the bounty hunter ammo case to set out beside them). Odds are there will be a much cheaper book-only version for about $20 when it is released in October.

It's really good if you like Shakespeare as well as Star Wars (as I do). I finished reading it today and really enjoyed the rewrite. The story lends itself to Shakespeare really well, and the author makes some nice callbacks to several of Shakespeare's plays (and another sci-fi series too for that matter). I'd personally like to see it brought to the stage, as well as rewrites for Empire and Jedi.

I really enjoy the show, though I suppose I was a late-comer. I started watching during the early Tennant years, and went back and watched Eccelston in between seasons. I've only seen a few episodes of the older incarnations, but I've enjoyed them. Though Tennant remains my favorite (you never forget your first doctor!), I've enjoyed Smith's run and hate to see him go. Can't wait to see what's in store for the 50th special though!

To sell figurines and statues I guess, plus the tie-in to The Clone Wars series. The leader of the Death Watch, Pre Viszla, has a darksaber that was looted from the Jedi temple by Shea and handed down through his family. I really do like Shea Viszla though (and bought both of those items mentioned above). I keep hoping she pops up in a future flashpoint, operation, or at least a book (besides the casual mention in Deceived, which was basically just describing what happened in that trailer, and a few brief entries in the SWTOR Encyclopedia).

I would love to have a Taun Faun, and I too am a CE owner, have been subscribed since release, and have RotC preordered since it was announced... but I don't want it for myself actually. You see, about a month ago I finally conned my dad into joining me in the game (you know, to rule the galaxy as father and son ), and he's been avidly playing SWTOR ever since. He even subscribed himself by the time his smuggler left Ord Mantell. This is probably the first game he's really taken an interest in since I was a little kid playing my original Nintendo, and needless to say it's been quite a learning curve for him. Nevertheless, he has made remarkable progress with his smuggler, to the point that we've managed to 2-man Heroic 4's and even a couple of the early flashpoints. It's probably the most time we've spent together since I moved out of my parent's house a decade ago! My characters have plenty of pets, but he doesn't have any. He's seen my characters being chased by bats, mini-robots, and other critters including the Taun Taun ram, which he liked but alas cannot get since it was a giveaway at the launch of the legacy system. I've told him we'll be able to get him an Orokeet on Alderaan (assuming we can actually get the egg) but won't be able to hatch it until Tattooine. The Taun Faun, a much rarer pet, would certainly be a cooler starting pet for him, and better since I'm sure he'd like the Faun more. He doesn't browse the forums as far as I know, but if you choose me, just message me and I can send you his account name so you can send the code directly to him if you'd like. Regardless of who you pick, thanks for running this awesome little contest for the community!

My fiancee definitely went over the top with Star Wars stuff this year (not that I mind of course ): - A Darth Vader jacket - 3 different calendars (movie edition, comic book edition, and a day-at-a-time one) - An X-wing ice cube tray - 2 picture frames - one says "We have powerful friends" and lights up and the other one says "This will be a day long remembered!" - Star Wars family car decals - And last but not least, the so-called "Fett Box" containing a Fett shirt, a Fett costume hoodie, a wallet with Fett showing Han in carbonite reflecting in his visor, the skiff barge/sarlaac pit Lego set, and an M&M Fett candy dispenser/mini-fan ...Oh and a few non-SW things too She also willingly sat through the bootleg DVD of the Holiday Special that I found online. She's definitely a keeper lol

I thought the episode was interesting. I certainly liked the depiction of Ilum and how the cave sort of challenged each youngling to face their fears. As for the Wookiee Jedi, well I always thought that rule was pointless and arbitrary anyway. Although, there's nothing that says he'll be done with his training before Anakin storms the temple. Harmonix also partnered with a similar company when they released RockBand 2... I made my main guitarist from that game and still have it on displayed in my home theater/gaming room. It's a shame that they discontinued the service when RockBand 3 came out. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy my SW characters as well!

It's a pretty interesting read, albeit a bit short. It has different chapters that are written by various sith lords throughout time (including Darth Malgus), and notes and comments from Darth Sidious, Vader, and various Jedi, on each section written in the margin like you'd see in a used textbook. There's also a light-side version called the Jedi Path, written in a similar manner. Again, both books are pretty short but interesting reads. I bought the vault editions myself (the holocron version), which comes with various items, maps, posters, and other stuff that you'd probably look at once or twice and leave sitting inside the box/holocron afterward. Those versions were a tad overpriced (even when I bought them as Amazon Gold Box deals) but they do make a neat display among the rest of my SW stuff.

I won't bother posting my opinion, since it's not really relevant. However, I would like to mention that the devs don't really wade through the forums looking for questions posed to them like this. They do a Community Q&A every week, which draws questions from a single thread linked from the previous week's entry. Unfortunately, you missed the deadline for this week's Q&A, but they should be opening the next one this weekend. Of course, there's no guarantee that they'll answer your question, but you'd have better odds of getting an official answer.
