  1. So I'm picking up my level 33 Powertech Bounty Hunter again, and I'm getting my rear handed to me. Is there a certain rotation I should use while leveling? Because this is rough.
  2. I'm playing the game on an SSD with over 100gb of space still free, and I reformatted only three months ago. I also do monthly data wipes with windirstat and ccleaner and run malwarebytes to ensure I'm not being affected by anything. These drops happen anywhere. I'm leveling in Dromund Kaas right now and as soon as I leave Kaas City, my framerate tanks into the 40s.
  3. I used to run TOR with 100+ FPS basically everywhere. Now I'm getting stuttering, 40-45 FPS that lags frequently, and occasional momentary 1-2 second freezes. I have a fairly powerful computer, with a GTX 980, an i5 2500k, and 8gb of RAM, but it doesn't seem to matter, The game never uses more than 30% of my GPU or 50% of my CPU, yet this happens, no matter where I put my settings.
  4. Yeah, those are things I'd want to consider. I noticed the nutrient harnesses alternate between looking very bulky and very slim, however, and I figured a balancing factor could be he only brings it with him when he's not using his jetpack. And I'm glad that the ysalamiri doesn't offer total immunity; just a bit of a chance to provide some extra defense!
  5. As a sort of method of occasionally getting the jump on Force Users, and because I think they're adorable. For those unfamiliar, Ysalamiri are furry lizards hailing from Myrkyr that can project a Force-repelling bubble when they sense danger around them. Some troopers and jedi hunters used them in order to provide protection against force attacks, like so: http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070818153307/starwars/images/thumb/c/cf/Ysalamir_effect.jpg/250px-Ysalamir_effect.jpg Obviously I don't want to do anything overpowered, but I figure it's easy enough to balance between trying to keep the lizard safe, it getting tired/exhausted/hungry, and him only using it when he knows he needs to ambush a force user. Thoughts appreciated!
  6. I dunno about that, man. I've got Yuun on my squad and he'll wreck 3-4 normal enemies in the time it takes me to kill one Silver.
  7. How about realizing that they can work on more than one thing at a time, and only so many people can work on the issues you consider relevant? Lemme put it this way. Hypothetically, the 'critical' issues can be worked on by a max of, say, 50 people, right? After all, if you put two people on re-writing the same piece of code, you are accomplishing nothing. So okay, the critical issues are being worked on as quickly as possible. But wait, we have 55 people! Should the other 5 just sit with their thumbs of their butts so that you're not bothered by irrelevant patch notes? No? You want them to work too? GUESS WHAT'S LEFT, SHERLOCK, BOOM, SPEEDER-DANCING
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fxclwyuoq0s Little bit of western mayhem for ya.
  9. Yeah but honestly I rarely stay CC'd in PvP, I'm not sure why. In any case, I'm not sure I wanna keep dropping survivability, but I might do it.
  10. I see what you mean. I don't really like Paralletic Combat Stims though, 2 talents for 1 ammo when I get status'd is a pretty bunk deal. How about this? http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#801GRMMdRbRMZrsMMoZbz.1 Lets me keep my stock strike boost.
  11. That makes sense. I'm trying to build a PvP Shield spec, any chance you could tell me how this looks? http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#801GRMMdRroMZrcrMoZb.1
  12. So every build I've seen, no one seems to take Energy Blast, and I'm kind of confused why. It puts out 800 damage and builds ammo; it seems like it'd be a good thing to replace Hammer Shot with for when you're in close range. Am I missing something here?
  13. He didn't ask "how can this be fixed?" He asked what should have been done in that situation with what he had. We're not talking about what the game needs.
