  1. Hello all, I’m a returning player. I got a SW looking for an RP guild that can accommodate a balanced force user. (Long story short, through RP, my character long ago came to the conclusion that the light and dark side binary of the force wasn’t the truth and he balances both) I’m an experienced RPer who is pretty chill. I have two kids that keep me occupied outside of the game so I can’t commit to events all the time, but I’d still like to be in an active and quality RP community. Would anyone be so kind as to point me in the right direction for a guild that might work for me and my character?
  2. I'm living in South Africa, so my ping is much better here than on Ebon Hawk. If I were just RPing it wouldn't matter but questing and pvp is very difficult on NA servers.
  3. Any Jedi/force-user RP happening? I've asked in-game and I get different answers. I'm a heavy Jedi Rper, looking for other people to RP with. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Hi all. New to the server. I'm actually an American living in SA and trying to find a group of people to play with. I'm super into RP/PvP and GSF. Not a whole lot of time to play though. I play on Pub side as a Guardian, though I hear force-user RP is lacking. That's fine, I'm pretty flexible with my RP and can figure sometime out. Anyway, if someone could point in the right direction for a pub side RP guild that works well with a force-user, they would be super helpful!
  5. Need to take unstoppable/unremitting to get pre-patch Unstoppable. "Working as intended."
  6. No one ever said they shouldn't be playable in regs. The reason, in my opinion that they have issues is two fold. 1) other classes are overtuned and are much too strong. This leads to Rage Juggs having a really hard time. As you said with classes above, they have high burst, high mobility and good DCDs. You aren't going to change that by buffing Rage into the stratosphere. All that will accomplish is adding another overpowered spec into the mixing bowl. The second reason, and I noticed this when I was playing around with Rage earlier. They hit like trains going a hundred miles an hour, and they derail just as easily. I admit, I think they are too easily controllable and need some slight tweaks to bring them up to par. Notice I said "slight" and it's way too early for me to throw around ideas on how to make that happen.
  7. Maybe I'm the only one that thinks this... but even if Rage was way better than Veng... I think I'd still be Veng. Rage is just so ugly to watch. >_>
  8. Which I agree with you on. But I stand by what I said, you don't achieve that by ripping something from one spec and slapping it onto another. Frankly, Rage would have been better off had they not touched Unstoppable/Unremitting and built something new for the spec. Now they have a watered down version of the passive and Veng is forced to take something they already had, thus limiting everyone's choices.
  9. So you're saying Rage and Veng should be exactly the same as far as DCDs ('cause if you add in those two passives, that's what you get) but have a different damage style? Why don't we just give them the same damage style and different animations instead? 'Cause that makes sense. No. Rage and Veng should not have the same DCDs. If Rage is having issues keeping themselves up, that should be addressed. However, the answer isn't just to rip the defensive capabilities from Vengeance and slap it onto Rage. As far as I'm aware, Rage was always more of a Glass Cannon Spec to begin with.
  10. I really tried to go without the full unstoppable (pre-change) by not taking the utility. God it was awful. I'm just thankful they didn't remove it from the game. Lol Also dropping the heal on unleash to take the cleanse on ED seemed to help more. It does suck to have to wait a full 2 mins to break cc but the heal is meh. The extra charges on ED more than make up for it. (And it also turns ED into a cc break of sorts) so it kind of balances out. As I said in an earlier post, this change was more annoying than anything. It's not like our utilities were so amazing to begin with. (Also, it does help our rage brothers out. So that's nice.) after a few days since the change, I'm just gonna ignore it and stop worrying about it until BW makes another announcement.
  11. I'm somewhat hoping that this just slipped into 3.2 and they have plans to change it for 3.2.1 as the title of the thread suggests. Here is hoping.
  12. Slow time of year maybe. Hopefully new content will draw people back into the game. XP boost coming up soon should also bring in new people. Basically. Not all hope is lost!
  13. After spending a night in Regs, and dropping the cleanse on ED (So I'm now 4/2/1) I did fine. No ranked poped on JM all night so I couldn't really see if it made a difference with our more hardcore pvpers. It's not really a big deal if I calm down about it. More like an annoying mosquito that is buzzing around my ears.
  14. Actually, I thought about dropping Ravage root, too. With the changes to White bar, Ravage root actually took a bit of a nerf. Doesn't build white bar, but only acts as a slow while fully resolved. I've never used the cleanse on ED though. So perhaps I'll drop that.
  15. It just feels so pointless. I hate having to build around this new crap. *sigh* I'm not sure what to drop in order to pick this up... and I feel I have to pick it up, too. Blah. Such sad.
