Not a lot of people posting in slinger forums since Bioware hates this class and nerfed it so hard its nearly unplayable.

Bioware doesn't care about our class....thats why they took our minor hots away.

Well I dont care what BW thinks. I'm not here to make friends. Im here to pvp as a hobby/spare time thing. I don't even do PVE stuff unless it helps my PVP gear. The more BW messes around and ticks off PVP players, the more that will quit playing.

Either do not allow premades OR if they are in a group of 2 or more, only queue them with equal groups. That or allow single players to be queued with other single players. Not hard to fix. All I have faced in PVP is premades in 4s and 8s. It has made PVP unfair/Not fun.

Not really that hard. Put a config option in PREFERENCES to either ALLOW or DENY auto summon of companion. This is a switch easily done in something as simple as Python, so I don't see how a really big game like this where that is an issue.

Bumping this up. I'm getting sick and tired of my companion auto appearing every time I log in via my guild FS or anywhere for that matter.

1. Crafted CCs in PVP (no other game I can think of allows this). 2. Premades in general in unranked PVP and premades who don't play objectives but just farm DPS/kills. I'm sitting in this BG right now, they haven't done anything but farm kills. PERIOD. 3. Still, slinger/sniper is the easiest class to farm kill. No defense, no heals, lackluster DPS. One on fears slingers. 4. Operatives still owning everyone in BGs. Not even close. The state of PVP right now is an utter joke.

Same 4 players every match, That's a premade. Same 4-6 plays in 6 mans, so while not a full premade, might as well be. Where they aren't even playing objectives or trying to win, they just tunnel 1 player at a time in a 1 v 8 situation all match long, camp our spawn site and with a few seconds left, they finally cap the ball and win. How's that fun? Same in 4s. Same 4 people vs a pug, getting steam rolled. Not fun. This is what Bioware intended. To make PVP as miserable as possible so that most of us would just quit. They'll end up eventually with the same problem they had in ranked PVP. Extremely long queues, facing the same people every match. Two things will happen. Either Bioware will wake up and stop allowing teams to queue unraked PVP (bonus, balance out the classes!) or, people will just quit SWTOR for good. Guardian/Juggernaut in PVP spec.

I play on my DPS tank today. 0-11 (to finish up arenas). Did not win a single match, was always against premades. That is how PVP will go since Bioware does not care about removing premades from BGs/Arenas. Eventually, only premades will play. The rest of us who wanted fair/even PVP matches (which in 10+ years we never got), will just quit the game.

And let us earn in PVP the same 336 gear PVErs are getting. Some of us can't do PVE or just dont find it enjoyable. I'd rather earn my full high level gear set beating on other players (except Operatives, they are still OP AF).

All the people I see in BGs now are wearing 335/336 gear. They PVE. They get all the goodies. Those of us who have great disdain for PVE crap, no gear.

Well since 75% of the people playing this game apparently care more about PVE than PVP, then I guess we PVP players have no voice. That explains a LOT, actually. Again, I need to find a game like this that is PVP focused, not PVE focused. PVE makes me want to BARF.

Then I need to find a PVP Centric game. PVE bores me to tears. I'd rather scrape my eyeballs out than do PVE.

Not sure I believe that but only BW has the real #s. Given the complaints are mostly around PVP I cant see where PVE is the cash cow.

Well I agree with the OP but lets be fair. It's been 10+ years of unbalanced PVP, and Bioware still will not do anything about it! Why? Because they believe their $ cow is PVE, but a good majority of players still find PVP the more interesting aspect of the game. We still have Operative/Scoundrel class that dominates PVP. We still have Snipers/Slingers that are so weak in PVP it's not even worth playing. Healers are struggling to keep up without a tank. DOT spec for Sage/Sorc is OP. What on EARTH makes anyone thing BW is going to do anything to help level the PVP playing field, after a decade? They won't. They never will. They think of those who PVP as not important. If we were they would have addressed this debacle years and years ago when we complained about it.
