  1. Um... what is the issue?? The system works perfectly. Mouse 1: fire lasers Mouse 2 (click): fire locked missiles Mouse 2 (hold, lock symbol, release): fire proton torpedo's (only targets major hardpoints) 1: power to lasers 2: power to shields 3: Jammer 4: EMP blast There is seriously no issues at all. 3 torpedo's in the magazine and 1 in the tube. Same as with the missiles 4 in the launchers and rest in the magazine. This is not a fault, a glitch or an error in any way. It works completely as intended.
  2. A Geforce 520 is rated to 155.5 GFLOPS. My 3 year old 8800 GTS g92 I don't use anymore because it's too old gets 624.0 GFLOPS. My current rig with 6870's in crossfire does 2016 GFLOPS each. Now these are not the end all be all of graphics metrics, but it gives you a decent idea of how far down the totem pole you are. A top of the line 6990 from AMD will get you 5099 GFLOPS. Basically, you are less than 5% of the way to an Ultimate Gaming Rig. You've got a word processor PC that can basically survive enabling Windows 7 Aero.
  3. Wow was fun, for a while. Then it got boring. I don't care about mods, in fact I hated that the Wow UI was by default almost useless for actually playing the game. I am happy to say that the TOR UI seems to be completely adequate. I can even heal in it decently. I absolutely despised having to search up and maintain mods for Wow. It completely broke the immersion and turned it into a giant dashboard watching game. Seriously if I want to watch meters, bars, timers and gauges constantly I'll just play MS Flight Sim. When it comes to combat, I'm really not sure what game you were playing. Wow has nothing on TOR combat animations and abilities. I enjoy combat in TOR, I never enjoyed combat in Wow and I never felt anything but incredibly under powered. It always seemed my mage was trying to take down snowmen with a bic lighter. Sharding... Um, thanks but I love this. You mean I don't have to spend millions of years waiting for respawns or dealing with spawns so fast 5 things all pop on me at once and I die? Yeah, shards please. Companions. I have never played a game with companion AI this good. My pet in wow was not this smart. Not even close. Companions in ME2 were not even this good. DOA OIC IDK TOR I<3
  4. I think I saw that on a nature documentary... I believe it was called "Adventure Time" and they used that method to light a crossbow arrow to scare the Bannana Man.
  5. I hope it is the only achievement in the game and it permafixes your title to "The Loser". Seriously, server first before the game even launches...
  6. There is a good chance it's Comcast holding EA hostage for a cut of the profit like they tried to do with Netflix. "Look EA, we will sink your launch unless you give us 1% of the profits you make on subs." Is this just today? It played perfect for me all weekend and during the Beta?
  7. Ok this is really simple. Orange gear is rolling on 4 things in one lump. Armor visual mod1 mod2 mod3 Only the mods are stat relevant. If some of the mods need replacing to make it suitable for you, then obviously you should at least ask if the other player minds. They'll say one of two things: Go Ahead: yay, roll need It isn't the right stats for you though I need it more: Then you can either loot ninja OR if you really like the visual but the mods are all easily replaceable, come back at a higher level and grind it. You'll live in the mean time. ETIQUETTE SOLVED.
  8. I always queue 5 barrels and RE them as they finish then repeat if I don't have it, I've always got the blue pattern by the 7th barrel. Usually by the 5th.
  9. Orange items, there done. Seriously, just get the mods with commendations or crafters, wear almost anything you want. The mod system is sweet and simple. Find gear you like the look of and keep wearing it indefinitely. End game will even drop uber mods that will allow you to turn your oranges into functional lvl 50 purples. Seriously this could not be simpler.
  10. I am on Comcast with 0 issues in MN. Do you just have general net problems or just this game?
  11. Ok, my list is shooting for the stars, but here we go. Freelancer style space PVP/PVE Ship Paint Customization Ship interior Customization Server only LFG tool Swoop Racing Sabbacc card game, Wager LOOT Carbine Art for BH Pistols Galactic Market Improvements Armor color matching options returned Airspeeders, T-14/T-47's, combat missions REAL ID, friend entire account Guild Ships More Crystal Colors (Silver, Gold) purchase upgrades DDE/Preorder items
  12. Seconded, maybe not the BEST items, but there should be craft-able items that are Operation viable at all difficulty levels, there should be missions that involve a decent risk to get the required materials, say a 90% failure rate, but being a crafter instead of a raider should be viable. Why can't I be a hardcore crafter instead without being a hardcore raider? Is raiding the only MMO activity that is allowed the spotlight?
  13. I like that there are a variety, some are more grind-able if that is what you really want and it allows more armor sets to be included in the game. I think a lot of the flashpoints I'll wait until level 50 then just go back to farm the armor set for the look and add in a bunch of mods to level it up. I REALLY like that a dungeon armor seems to be fully moddable. Everything I've looted so far anyway.
  14. Windows phone 7 too, also the authenticator. Yes, people actually use WP7 and yes it actually is a solid OS.
