  1. The patch notes stated this issue was fixed.. but I log in and BEHOLD... the top of the mask is STILL clipping through my character's hood. Body type 3. I would LOVE to use this mask someday... but it just looks dumb, sticking through the top of my hood. NOT FIXED.
  2. Wow, you are arrogant. So instead of the game catering to the 99% of the player base, you believe that the game should cater to the 1%. You should get a job on Wall Street. Random battles have their own charm. They are chaos.. and as the Joker would say "the thing about chaos.. it's fair,". What you are REALLY afraid of is actually not having easy wins any more. Your fear comes out in your anger. You stand on a peak screaming how 99% of the player base should bend to your will,..and we are all just too stupid to see it. No, we see it. We see you for what you are. Grow up.
  3. I have played MMO's for more than 10 years now. So, please understand that what I say is coming from plenty of experience with PVP across many games. Separating the queues for premades and PUG's is not only viable, it is frankly the best thing a game with PVP can do. First of all, most of your player base is NOT going to be a premade. As a business, you do not want to alienate the vast majority of your clientele for the preferences of the vast minority. Secondly, I personally find it fun when I have to fight it out against my friends, when they show up on the other side from a random queue. We have often had quite the laugh about our attempts to hunt each other down on the battlefield. Frankly, playing against good players who just happen to be my friends is a great way to get feedback on technique. I love it. Lastly, look at games like Guild Wars 2. They offer quite a bit of variety for everybody. You can do random queues, arena's where guilds can compete, and world vs. world... a vast open area of combat where you can siege enemy castles and take territory for server-wide bonuses for all. We already have a system in place for the guild vs. guild queues. One of the reasons it is not successful, I believe, is because premade groups have a choice not to use it. Frankly, it is human nature to choose the easiest route. Either that is the most imbalanced class or the easiest opponent. We all know how easily a well coordinated group on voice can stomp a PUG group. This would work best, if they do manage to get their cross-server functionality working. So this part is partially Bioware's fault, as they dropped the ball here...well... and open world in Illum too.. but that is another issue. The bottom line is that you have to cater to your player base. Driving people out of PVP, because they get frustrated by constantly getting rolled by premade groups is NOT going to help anybody. PVP guilds will miss the chance to spot potential new talent, because that new talent no longer queues up, and queue times will grow longer and longer as the population dwindles. I have seen it in too many games. Arguing that having premades stomp PUGS is ok,.. that is slitting your own throat,... slowly. You are killing the game you love, and you don't even know it... or just refuse to see it. Sorry for what is probably a TON of spelling and other errors,.. just woke up P.s. I am in 2 PVP guilds,.. so I am not just raging against those evil PVP guilds,.. I want to see the game thrive.
  4. I actually got into an argument with a sage bragging how much more he healed than me. Like that is real hard, with that nice AOE heal dropped on the floor. He also was trying to convince me that mercs can tank. Where do these people come from? I think half the reason we still have the class problems we do is that most of the player base has obviously never played the gimpiness that is a merc. We could not get much worse... well.. maybe
  5. I am not QQ'ing. This is pretty much how it is. I know people tend to defend their classes, because they want to feel leet, but it is really just this simple. I play a guardian as well. Smash builds are stupidly easy to play. I admit it. I hate them. Vigilance is my preferred poison. It is unfortunate that they will never put up the same numbers. P.s., when I played my sentinal, to test it... it was NOT a smash build. Pretty easy to win with all that utility and dps. You can call this QQ if you wish. I am done talking about it now. I am sure you will have some "witty" reply, but facts are facts. Sentinal is played by so many, because it is so easy to do well with them. That is just human nature.
  6. Who's kidding who? I ground up all variants of all classes to level 50 to see how each class worked. The best way to beat your opponent is to know what they can and can not do. Sorry, but sentinal and slam build guardians have to be some of the easiest classes to be successful with. I have been sticking with my Merc now for some time. So don't even TRY to call me a FOTM player. If I was one of those, I would have dumped my broken class a long time ago. The truth is that sentinal is a very very easy class to play. I am sorry to say that, but it is just fact. People ( being the general masses ) tend to drift toward the easiest to play classes. It is pretty common in MMO's particularly. You have more utility than any class I can think of, while doing insane amounts of damage. That is why it was so easy to do so well in recruit gear, when I played it for a few days... because it is frankly an unbalanced class. This is why I decided against playing it. I hate FOTM classes and this is FOTY. Been out of whack for a loooong time. Honestly I would not be surprised to see a lot of changes in 1.7. And when it happens.. I will read all the QQ's here from people talking about how balanced sentinal currently is.. but I will not shed 1 tear.
  7. Quoted for truth. I get tired of people saying that sentinal is a master class. First time out in pvp with recruit gear and I take top damage. Seriously.. people don't play hard classes. People tend to go toward the easiest most broken and imbalanced classes they can find. Hence, why you see so many sentinals. If you can't win a 1-on-1 fight as a sentinal.. you are fighting another sentinal. Smash needs to be reduced so all the super smash monkey teams go away. Other trees need to be made more viable .. and combat needs to be made harder. Right now.. Step 1: Roll a sentinal Step 2: Target an enemy Step 3: Smash face on keyboard Step 4: Profit Getting old fast. Furthermore the game should not just focus on who does the most damage. I have seen too many MMO's go that route. Eventually other classes stopped showing up for pvp.. healers,.. tanks.. nothing but dps. I have quit many games like that. The lopsided mentality of DPS DPS DPS DPS will kill the game faster than you can imagine.
  8. Whatever they do to "balance" our class had better be magical.. because 1 year of serious butt pounding has gotten on my nerves. The length of life I have in pvp is directly related to how long it takes for somebody to notice me. Frankly that is unacceptable. We have heavy armor, but less defense than any cloth wearer in the game. We are supposed to be the DPS BH,.. but we can be easily beated by any Powertech.. who still has 10 times the survivability that we have (Maybe I should avoid multiples, being that anything multiplied by "0" is still "0"). There is frankly no reason to pick this class. Even our healing is weaker than everybody's healing. I find the best part of this class.. is I have to stand completely still for most of my attacks,.. thereby negating any advantages that range had to offer. At least snipers get a shield to hide behind. We just have to stand there and pretend to be a punching bag for every class in the game that looks our way. I am really disappointed with Bioware's apparent lack of vision (had to quote the emperor here) when it comes to this class. *edit* and frankly I forgot to mention the nerf we had where our rocket punch does not knock them back any more. I guess having a "snowballs chance in hell" was too good.. so they decided to reduce it to "snowflakes chance". Add in the reduced area of effect for my Death from Above (which is frankly way too small to make it useful).. while at the same time you have given multiple buffs to sentinals, who needed it like Bill Gates needs a car loan.
  9. Is anybody else having this problem. I have finished all the hard mode space missions. The weekly shows up in my ship as 2 missions and I can not pick either of them up. It tells me that I am not eligible for the missions. I have already dont them on my jedi today... but no dice with my BH. Just want to see if anybody else is having this problem. I would like to get the Black Hole commendations from these. Papa needs a new pair of shoes...
  10. There is a ugly graphical problem with Revan's Mask, when it comes to wearing hoods. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb137/Jaruslothran/Screenshot_2012-12-14_18_13_57_693235_zps10041b32.jpg[/img]"]http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb137/Jaruslothran/Screenshot_2012-12-14_18_13_57_693235_zps10041b32.jpg Above link is the problem. Please fix it, as I love the mask itself.. but this clipping is HORRIBLE. Thanks.
