  1. Wrong. The largest guilds will always be at the top of the CQ list. You can remove this and remove that until the cows come home but the end result will be identical. Large guilds win. Small guilds lose. KP is available to everyone at minimum level. Thus smaller guilds will be no more competitive with the largest ones CQ-wise if KP is removed. There is no evidence anyone feels "forced" to run it. People who do it seem to enjoy it very much. If it was removed they would be "forced" to something else. Then commence the crying and remove that and they would again be "forced" to do something else. The list is infinite. Who cares? People who are jelly.
  2. The crux of your suggestion is that you want KP farm nerfed because you are jelly of other people's CQ. Ridiculous. Don't participate if you are jelly. First, there is no basis to remove it. Killing NPCs in an OP is not cheating nor new and novel. Second, removing one method of farming will not give you any benefit whatsoever with respect to earning CQ. The largest guilds will always remain at the top of the CQ list every week regardless of removing one method of farming. Thus there is no basis to remove it and even if it were removed you would be no better off. You would still not be at the top of the CQ list and you would simply find something else to be jelly about.
  3. The answer has always been and always will be the same: 1) Best PVP spec - BURST (i.e., Marksman, Sharpshooter) "But why burst?" Because burst rules in pvp. Cue the pvp DoT fan boys: "But I play DoT in PVP and I do fairly well." But of course you do, dear. 2) Best PVE spec - BURST for leveling (i.e., Marksman, Sharpshooter). DoT for end game (Viru, Dirty). Burst for leveling to burn down targets fast. No time for DoTs. DoT for sustained damage on operation bosses and high level mobs end game. If no ops or MM then it doesn't matter what spec you play because all regular content is pretty much a joke. Engineering for the most AoE. No idea how it is on damage but probably not as good as Viru or Dirty.
  4. Once you see this video, it cannot be unseen.
  5. Do you envision a slider for the bulge? What level of customization?
  6. Um. Grinding only turrets then resetting is even more mindless than Hammer Station runs. In fact, grinding only turrets may be the pinnacle of mindlessness. The absolute apex of peak mindlessness.
  7. You have cemented the conclusion there is no benefit to grinding Renown 999. This ironclad conclusion is essentially a law of physics at this point. Being an "OCD achievement hunter" is fine, but it is not a benefit to Renown 999. Rather, it is a statement about your personal issues with dopamine addiction. The more you grind, the more dopamine spikes you get and the more you feed like a frenzied vampire. Your personal addiction issues are not anyone's business but they are acknowledged as a reason for your grind. Saying you did something "because I could" is a statement that says nothing at all. Every living organism on Earth does things "because they can". i.e., You eat bacon because you can. You voted for Trump because you can. You went to the toilet because you can. Ants crawl because they can. Means absolutely nothing, other than to illustrate further there is no benefit to grinding Renown 999.
  8. Wrong. Renown 999 is not equivalent to climbing Mt. Everest. Climbing Mt. Everest takes an ungodly amount of skill, physical and mental prowess, preparation, strategy, teamwork and moreover, a willingness to DIE a horrible and painful death on site. Your analogy is juvenile. Your assertion OP made some big accomplishment because he "simply did what no one else did, first" is likewise flawed beyond belief. Under your logic, Adolf Hitler is worthy of accolades because he was the first do do a great many things. Also, John Wayne Gacy was the first serial killer dressed as a clown who had 20 bodies buried under his house. Under your theory, Gacy is worthy of accomplishment because he was the first to do what he did. Your attempt to White Knight has failed and your argument has been duly Hiroshima'ed. However, you have greatly reinforced the conclusion that Renown 999 is a mindless and worthless grind.
  9. This game needs more content, not more grinding. You want more grinding because you equate grinding with increased happiness via dopamine rush. The more you grind, the more dopamine spikes you get. You're an addict. Many others do not get the same dopamine spike, like addicts, from grinding. If you love grinding so much then grind to Renown 999. Alot of people here think this is a wonderful accomplishment and contribution to mankind, even though it is a mindless repetitive grind that requires no skill whatsoever other than stuffing your face with Totino's Pizza Rolls and Mountain Dew for 15 hours a day.
  10. You're a walking contradiction. You declare others should be barred from opining on whether something is a waste of time but in the same breath you pontificate that others you disagree with are wasting time. Then you cheerlead Renown 999 but in the same breath you admit "I honestly place zero value on grinding renown at a record pace". Anything that has zero value is, by definition, a waste of time. Thus you have declared in politically correct fashion that grinding Renown 999 is in fact, a waste of time.
  11. Not high on the dev priority list. But if they do spend resources trying to implement a hood toggle, they should also implement a butt flap toggle. A substantial amount of armor has an unnecessary butt flap that ruins the armor. "But I like the butt flap on all the armor." But of course you do, dear.
  12. So the Superior Renown Boosts don't work? Has this been confirmed? Doesn't really matter much since Renown rank is pretty useless but I would still like to know. Clicking on an icon that does nothing but placate - like a door close button in an elevator - is a waste of energy.
  13. Negativity or positivity is quite inconsequential. This is not a self-help book and you are not Tony Robbins. There are facts. i.e., free haircut at Renown 999. Then there are facts shrouded in the illusion of rainbows and unicorns. You believe in the latter variety because you are Miss Positivity!
  14. Why do you assume Renown 999 makes the OP happy? How do you know that beyond bragging on a message board, the grind did not make him more sad to the point of having an existential crisis? Every time you grind Hammer Station a piece of you dies inside. At Renown 999, you are essentially the Walking Dead.
  15. I fully appreciate that one man's trash is another man's treasure, which is the crux of what you said. But I measure "benefit" from an objective perspective. i.e., what a reasonable person believes to be a benefit. Grinding Hammer Station for weeks or more likely months on end for a free haircut at the appearance modification station, minimal achievement points and a "Limitless" title is not a benefit from an objective perspective. Would 20 coins even get you a free haircut or would it just be a discount on a haircut? If it's just a discount then it's even more worthless.
