  1. I Guess something good that came from this post is to see how bad the sage DPS class has got since 1.2 nerf. The nerf came into play because everyone played a sorc/sage for pvp and everyone was getting lightning down and people QQ'd. After the nerf people rerolled PTs and maras and now everyone is QQing about them. BUFF sage Dps again i say!!
  2. Will Bioware consider going to a free to play buisness model like GW2 will have to stem the tide of falling subs? Just a thought.....
  3. I'll let you guys in on a little secret BW doesn't care about the class imbalances and they definitely don't really worry much about the feed back from the community. Before 1.2 come out there were numerous threads on the PTS forums section about the sage/sorc nerfs and how bringing in all the changes we now have would break the class. You ask the people who played sage/sorc pre 1.2 and most of the players would say that the only change that needed to be made with the class was to fix the double deliverance proc which was never suppose to be apart of the class mechanics. If Bioware really wanted to fix sage/sorcs the would make presence of mind what it was pre 1.2 and they would increase the damage of the 31 point abilities in the balance and telekinetics tree by 100%.
  4. How to Break a Game 1. Make sweeping changes to Healing classes 2. Buff Some dps classes that didnt need a buff and nerf classes the didnt need to be nerfed 3. Delay ranked warzones but still make changes to pvp mechanics. ie expertise. 4. Over inflate server populations with free 7 day trials. It might look good on paper that your player base isn't dropping when people with level 50's are jumping ship. 5. Not having competent game programmers and designers who can code proper in-game combat logging, flash point group ques, server transfers or ranked warzones with cross server queing. How to fix a Game 1. Listen to your gaming community. You tested class nerfs on the PTS. You had over 2000 post on the sage sorc nerf and how bad it was yet it still went through. 2. Roll back your 1.2 nerfs and buffs on classes. The conveyance buff needs to be coded properly so it doesn't proc twice and operatives shouldnt be able to double stealth. 3. Change back how expertise works in pvp. Your damage boost on players should not be higher then your damage reduction from players. 4. Make your own in game combat logging so people can scroll back up and see what hit them and killed them. The only 3rd party programs that should be used are your dps meters like ACT etc so you can see your dps and hps on raids and you can see what needs to be worked on. 5. Server Transfers. The free ones to the oceanic servers really need to happen at the end of this month and paid transfers a week or so later. Then you need some good server consolidation and cut how many servers there are. I'm sure i have missed some good things and bad thing in the game right now. I wont quit playing swtor because of bad game mechanics or class inbalance but i will quit the game if all the good players leave and i cant clear content or have people to pvp with and i have no one to play with.

  6. To fix class in balance the people who got nerfed need to reroll a class that didnt. I play a sage ( Full BM & Rakata) and i am rerolling a sentinel. So if you are unhappy with your class and you havent unsub'd yet you got two choices. Reroll or SUCK IT UP. Btw if you all reroll they will nerf the sents and the vanguards etc because there are so many of them face rolling the people who didnt change, then you go back to your sage and watch all these people cry about how there class got nerfed.
  7. Bad players will always be bad and the fact you are bring in nerfs so the bad players dont feel like they are bad is even worse. I get some nerfs to classes need to be made like the operative and them killing you before you can do anything is not skill but bad game mechanics and yes you needed to fix the sage Deliverance bug. If Bioware is really concerned about breaching the gap between bad players and good you will focus on your in game damage meters and incorporate them in the game yourselves instead of letting a 3rd party do it for you. Once you get proper in game damages meters and you can break it down with ACT and people can start pin pointing were people are lacking that is how the bad players become better. Fix your in game content so its not so buggy and has so much RNG. A bad player can not adjust to bad game coding and mechanics a good player can. You want to bring peoples skill level closer then fix the things that really need to be fixed.
  8. I think the art department need to go back to finger painting school because i just saw the consular pvp and raid armor and they are the most pathetic looking sets of clothes a person could put on there char. I think in swtor if we had homeless people i think they would even leave these clothing sets in the trash. Anyways i wont be wearing them on my sage and maybe swtor can bring in potato sacks for the consular and i will wear those. Just putting it out there. Zoomia
  9. So the oceanic servers have been released. Yay... and many oceanic people have rerolled on to these servers. But a few of us have decided to stay and wait for the transfers because we don't want to waste the time invested we have already done. The problem we are currently having is that the player base is no longer there at the time we play and recruiting new members to refresh the ranks has nearly become impossible. We go from raiding a few nights a week clearing 9/10 nightmare mode to sometimes not even be able to raid at all. This is just the guild/raiding side of things and not to mention the pvp que times jump up to 10 or 15 mins when it used to be no more then a few minutes before the oceanic servers coming up. Please Bioware can the paid or free xfers to oceanic servers be moved up so the oceanic players who supported your product before it got released in there countries be able to continue there end game swtor content Thanks Zoomia
