  1. I wish I could drive a Rancor through the Fleet and eat every last person. That would be realistic yes? Perma-death by mount ftw.
  2. This post amazes me. When I first started playing this game one of the first things I thought was how awesome the shadows are and how they blend and react accordingly. You sir have way too much time on your hand, go back and play WoW then come back and play Star Wars: ToR and tell me the shadows are better, no way. The shadows are real-time in this game not static like WoW and therefore make everything look better and more realistic. I think you need to play the game more instead of focusing on pixels, cause the shadows in this game look amazing.
  3. They are tightening up their game man, have you even been paying attention? They have released fixes for exploits and game issues, announced new patches to fix many issues being complained about and have even been trying to balance the in-game economy. Are there things I want in the game? Sure, but I am in no way disappointed with their pacing at this point they are trying to cover all the bases they can and so far they are doing a respectable job imho. Maybe down the road they may deserve critiscism (like if full scale pvp/space expansion isn't implemented ), but for now I myself think they are doing a heck of a job.
  4. This isn't an issue unless you are running everything maxed, it has no effect if you use low shadows or textures, but with everything maxed is when I have the problem with it reloading right.
  5. The other day I was playing Star Wars: ToR and decided to surf the web a bit for strats and videos and such, the normal thing I do when gaming. When I reloaded back into the game i started getting some lag and couldn't figure out why so then I searched google for an answer to what might be slowing it down, not much other than "it's your video card", or "not enough ram". After that second search I went back to the game and it had gotten even worse and I wondered about the textures having to load each time and if that may be doing it so I shut the game down completely, restarted it and played the same zone as before, no lag. I have come to realize that if I need to search anything i'm going to be using my Android while i'm playing the game. It's mainly noticable in large areas, the place where I really noticed it was Taris, obviously cause it has so many shadows to load it just never reload right unless you restart. Just a heads up.
  6. Sounds like OP is looking for a special type of button for their companion: http://www.sportsballshop.co.uk/acatalog/WinButton.jpg Sorry, but never had a problem with my companion as well, maybe play ...quicker?
  7. Me thinks someone rushed through the game expecting 10k+ people to just be waiting there in anticipation to help them, instead of taking their time, enjoying the game and getting to know people as they went. Go back to Tython maybe? or wherever you came from...
  8. More variety would be nice, but since you will be wearing gear I find the point fairly mout compared to other issues I wouldn't rank this very high on the priority list. Sounds like you didn't farm commendations to me. I haven't had this problem. Between duo's, group runs and the auction house and mods I always find a way to upgrade and get what I need. An appearance tab for each piece of gear on the other hand would be really nice. Not sure what to say here i'm split on the matter. I "believe" they have some sort of balancing system cause I know i've beaten players 10 levels higher than me at times with realative ease. Still I don't understand why they chose this structure and overall I believe tiered pvp works much better in my uninformed opinion. I really disagree here and wonder why you would even say this. All your other points are fairly good, but this one just makes it seem like you don't understand the game at all. Just hit the space bar to fast forward man....
  9. Solution: Take Diplomacy as a crew skill, problem solved. Prediction: Next you will complain about how long it takes Diplomacy to earn points.
  10. Depends on your definition of casual. If by casual you mean more fun to play and easier to get into then how could that be bad? The game is still challenging and that's what matters.
  11. You have got to be kidding.... These so called "lively" areas you speak of eventually became deadzones in WoW. No reason to go back to 80% of the world created in WoW once you level past there. Over time this game will be lively in "all" areas as you have many benefits to each location and there are reasons to revisit areas, wheteher it be datacrons or commendations farming. I would like it if eventually they create an outer rim world that is vast in exploration, but not overkill to the point where when they make a new zone it totally kills the other zones, which is what WoW does. Been to the Barrens lately?.....LOL
