  1. Here's hoping my suggestions don't have too much overlap with known GSH content. The spinning monitors from the fight against the Shroud (Shroud's Last Stand). The Noetikons from the Jedi Consular storyline. Giant galaxy map! Jukebox. The False Emperor's throne. Some of the computers and monitors from the Office of Imperial Intelligence. A variety of floor/wall-mounted turrets (decorative only, of course). Disco dance floor! Those pods with the mechanical doors from around the Cyborg fight in Directive 7. Dreadful Entity replica (with full spinning action!) Model/pet display cabinet. A display board with customizable scrolling messages. Mannequins (representing each body type, preferably as a toggle action). Weapon displays.
  2. What server are you on? If you're on the Harbinger, I might be able to hook you up with something.
  3. It would be better to restrict Need rolls to classes that can use them, or to give F2P players the ability to trade loot on bind timers.
  4. My companion died while I quick-traveled from Frinn Mesa to the Volcanic Mesa on Makeb. According to the death message, he defeated himself, and it was death by Take Fall Damage (0 damage).
  5. The Czerka Crate-O-Matic has an infinitesimally small chance of dropping on any loot roll at level 50. That means every single piece of trash in a daily section has a tiny chance of dropping one. It has also dropped in Hard Mode flashpoints, operations, and probably in crew skill missions. I imagine that any loot roll that exclusively rolls for artifacts has a higher chance of getting a Crate-O-Matic drop, but there's nowhere near enough data to confirm that. Most Crate-O-Matic drops are unreported, so it's hard to track that stuff. If you absolutely must get the Crate-O-Matic from a loot drop, your best bet is to go run dailies. Otherwise, work towards earning around 25 million credits and buy one off the GTN.
  6. How will the delay of 2.2 affect the Shipment 1 Cartel Pack embargo?
  7. Now that I've gotten a chance to rest a bit, I have a few more notes to add: The False Emperor (Hard Mode) Darth Malgus - Rendili Fireball (drops in both Empire and Republic versions of the flashpoint) Explosive Conflict/Terror From Beyond/Scum and Villainy All Chests/Bonus Bosses - rare color crystal (including Cyan, Purple, Black-Red, Black-Blue, Black-Orange, and Black-Purple Indestructible/Eviscerating/Hawkeye - not sure if there is a pattern on which crystals drop where or in what mode) World Bosses Xenoanalyst II (all modes): L1-L Defender (very rare drop) Ancient Gree Defender: L1-L Defender (guaranteed drop - spawns in PvP area, approximately 5% chance of spawning instead of the Ancient Gree Destroyer)
  8. Nice job! Here's a few more to add to your list, based on personal experience: Maelstrom Prison (Story Mode): Grand Moff Kilran - Longspur Scout (rank 1 speeder) Lost Island (Hard Mode): All Bosses - Mysterious Egg (pet, hatches the Orosquab) Doctor Lorrick - Lhosan Thunderbolt (rank 3 speeder) Doctor Lorrick - Midnight Rakling (pet) Karagga's Palace (All Modes): Karagga the Unyeilding - Karagga's Unyeilding Helm (adaptive armor) Karagga the Unyeilding - M0-GUL Thrall Droid (pet) Eternity Vault (Nightmare Mode): Soa the Infernal - Dessler Avenger (rank 3 speeder, guaranteed drop!) 2 hour ops completion - "[name] the Infernal" title Karagga's Palace (Nightmare Mode): All Bosses - Karagga's Unyeilding Helm (adaptive armor, drops more frequently on Karagga) All Bosses - M0-GUL Thrall Droid (adaptive armor, drops more frequently on Karagga) Karagga the Unyeilding - Desler Turbo (guaranteed drop!) 2 hour ops completion - "[name] the Unyeilding" title Explosive Conflict (Nightmare Mode): All Bosses - Avalanche Heavy Tank (rank 3 speeder; drops more frequently on Kephess?) 2 hour ops completion - "Warstalker [name]" title There's a few more from the level 55 ops - I can't personally confirm these, but Dulfy's been giving them a lot of coverage. Check her pets guides (key word "Kell Dragon") and the 2.2 PTS patch notes.
  9. I suppose it depends on when you last played this game and what you mean by "an edge". Since launch, Armstech, Armormech, and Synthweaving gained the ability to craft augments and augment kits. Since Best in Slot gear requires the best augments available, this has proven to be a reliable way to make money on those skills. Endgame mods and barrels are now REable for schematics (except for the top tier of gear). Artifice can craft a number of dye modules for the new 2.1 update, though the really good craftable dyes require a high Reputation with a bunch of different factions.
  10. I have found that it is possible to add special items (crystals, Holodancer, Training Probe, etc.) to my characters' collections by simply moving them to a new spot in my Inventory. As no workaround was posted in the Known Issues thread, I figured I'd forward my findings.
  11. Any chance we can get an in-game shortcut for these symbols? I don't have a numpad, so I can't manually type them out.
  12. I agree, though I'd probably phrase the suggestion differently - move Cartel Toys to the Abilities Panel. If these things are going to bind to a specific character, they shouldn't waste one of our Inventory slots. I know we could simply destroy the item and restore it via Collections (at least in theory), but that's far too cumbersome for something as simple as Ball Toss. I also like the "Bind to Legacy" suggestion from the other thread on the matter - one of the great appeals of the toys was that if I was done using one of them on one of my alts (like the Satele Shan/Darth Malgus Holostatues), I could pass it to another. I likely would not have invested in them if I had known that they would bind to a specific character. I suppose in that specific case there's always the Dr. Oggurobb Hutt Holostatue, but for me personally, I've always bought and used more of the Toy Cartel Items because they don't bind and therefore retain their value over time.
  13. Crate-O-Matics are certainly rare, but not so rare that there's only 2 across all servers. That number (2 drops in 1.85 billion rolls) came from a dev post early last year, and there's certainly been a lot more rolls since then. The drop rate for Crate-O-Matics may seem insanely low, but the thing to consider is that anything that can drop a level 50 Artifact item can drop a Crate. I know somebody who vendored their Crate because they thought it was a random junk drop from some trash they fought while doing dailies. I also imagine that Crates are a lot more common on PvE servers than PvP servers. PvP doesn't offer loot drops at all, while every single enemy you fight while doing dailies has a minute but equal chance of dropping a Crate. If I had to make a rough estimate, I'd say that Crates drop at the rate of about once or twice a month on The Harbinger. I know at least 3 people with Crates, and there were two GTN listings last time I checked.
  14. I support this suggestion. Up to this point, I don't believe there has been any style of model or gear rendered completely unobtainable except for the stuff from the Grand Acquisitions Race. Discontinued pets, vehicles, and crystals are all available on the GTN. I understand the need to clean up the number of vendors and vendor items on the fleet, but I think it would be well worth the investment to make some way of crafting the armor sets. Perhaps one could make the new schematics require levels 50, 52, and 54 to retain the emphasis on PvE progress?
