Takes Up Too Much of My Time
  1. Ehm thank you for the kind words. Having to individually click every raid frame to heal, stack 2x hots on people while doing this, try to keep all those stacks going, keep stim boost up, keep 1 TA up for the increased heal %, use the extra TA for SP as soon as possible so as not to lose the opportunity, all while keeping energy above 60% if possible is like the ultimate in multi-tasking hell. I haven't decided if I love or hate the challenge. NOT an easy class/spec at 50, let's hope it turns out to be more rewarding than rerolling a sorc and facerolling would have been. Thanks for the tips tho!
  2. Of all the things mentioned, the one thing I will agree with is that the group healing is pretty weak on this class. Even just making kp have to be stacked once instead of twice for less busy work would help. It would allow more decision making & direct heal time (including diag scan for energy). Or increasing the range of RN to 30m but keeping it at max 4 people would also help. As it is currently I have to choose between spamming kp on everyone and hoping it ticks for enough to keep everyone alive as I slowly watch their health bars drop... or letting kp drop on a few, and focus firing some direct heals with sp mixed in on my favorite group members. I would love to cast RN but unless I have 3 melee group members close enough to each other, it would just waste my energy and really cause me to get into an energy hole. It's too situational to be useful in most cases. I understand the concept of triage, but the current system isn't even allowing triage. It does not allow me to make smart choices as to who will be kept alive, it just allows me to keep, at max efficiency, 2 people alive at once...or to spam 4 people with kp while I watch two die. I think that would be called biage This is just my take on flashpoint healing (lvl 50). I feel fully capable of single target healing with great efficiency, and enjoy the energy mechanic for that aspect of healing.
  3. Yet somehow, not enough copied to make people happy.
  4. Agree. Some of these people have only played ONE MMO, and have never experienced the release of an MMO and some of the inevitable issues that go along with it. Let's hope instead of whining they just cancel their subscriptions and leave the community to those who actually have some patience and understanding.
  5. If they newsflash that... it's like saying "Hey, it's not really full, we're just pretending" to everyone else as well. Guess what that means? Everyone else including new people who get the newsflash will then continue to roll on it.. hence defeating the purpose of limiting it.
  6. If anything a server marked as full is discouraging to new players. Maybe BW is marking them as full this morning to discourage any NEW folks from rolling on them throughout the day. I understand that results in a queue for the rest of the people already on the server too, but would you rather they mark them Standard, and watch even more people roll into your server? In the long run this benefits you...
  7. Yep right around there, lvl 26 myself. I have been playing nights after work and played half of Saturday but not Sunday, so more than casually, but not pushing too hard. Haven't skipped a single voice over quest, and have done a majority of the side quests until out-leveling them.
  8. No better way, as it should be discussed. Censorship in MMO's consists not of outright banning words, but of allowing people to turn viewing them on or off. It's not outright censorship. You can have your choice and I can have mine, and we can all be happy.
  9. Honestly I have done this, but it sucks. I would love to talk to people about anything other than ***. Maybe we just need an in character channel to solve all of this, it would be a step in the right direction as well.
  10. "please also give us the option" Not demanding, freedom of speech is valued, just 3 little stars I can choose to turn on, and you can choose to leave off.
  11. While you are working on updating the UI, Bioware, please also give us the option to censor the word WoW from the vocab in game. I find it offensive to have to constantly hear about some other game while I am immersing myself in a NEW mmo that should be judged on it's own merits. So from now on it's just *** Ah yes, that is much better. *** can live on in general chat, forums, and the hearts of many a star wars complainer now. *** can continue to be bigger and better according to some but it'll just be *** to me I don't think it's too much to ask for, one more little tick in your censorship policy ;-) Here's for wishing...
  12. This is indeed very annoying. If you are duo leveling like me, you can still use operations frames and just put the other person's pet as a focus target. But it is still quite irritating as you have no options to move the focus frame from it's default location on your screen... What you end up with is... you and your partner's nameplates on left of screen, your own pet below your nameplate at the bottom, and your partner's focused pet to the right of your actual target frame. Is this a GOOD solution? No, absolutely not. Does it allow you to keep operations frames up? Yes... if you only have one other pet to watch.
  13. There is always a "fleet" area that you have to run through to get back to your ship. Usually you access this fleet area by clicking on the door of what looks like a ship and selecting "Drummond Kaas Fleet" or whatever looks similar to that. It will take you to a big building where you need to find the elevator up to your classes ship dock. Each elevator in the building is labeled as to which classes ship it goes to, so just go to the map and hover over the elevators till you find the one labeled for your class. Hope that helps, sorta hard to explain.
  14. Not gonna lie, I got pretty excited finding at least 3 different ways to dance in game. I definitely had a moment
  15. It might be that you are accidently hitting an auto run key. I think that auto run is set to activate if you press the "num lock" key on your keyboard or mouse button 4 (if you have 4 mouse buttons). Go under your options menu and check the key bindings tab and it should say what key auto run is set to, and maybe reset it to a different key or mouse button that you can't accidently hit. It might be something else too, but this is all I could think of.
