  1. Bioware can't even bring themselves to fix their own raid content in less time than two months, what do you expect them to do on a site that they have no authority over?
  2. So subscribers don't really get early access do we? Seems like we just get access to a live testing environment while you try to sort out all the bugs that would be caught if you offered a public PTS.
  3. I agree, these grand chance cubes should come as bonuses in the actual packs as an extra slot, if at all. I am already unsubbed from this game due to lack of meaningful group content and now I have no reason to spend any money whatsoever on this game at all, because I will not be purchasing any more packs from the cartel market with this ripoff formula.
  4. Opened a new hypercrate, got 27 (!) cubes. Officially done with the cartel packs in this game, I was already letting my sub slip until all the chapters were out, now I don't have to spend ANY money on this game until I resub after season 1 is over.
  5. You bring up a good point about the strength of story. Star Wars is one of the best licenses to have if you want engaging story, and I think the 1-50 experience reflects that. Maybe my views are only based on chapters 1-9 and later chapters will have more divergent, personalizing moments in them, I hope they do, but for now the story falls kind of flat. This is especially noticeable if you do multiple playthroughs and choose differently, nothing really changes. I also don't think good story and MMO have to be exclusive.
  6. For a more well-received (and constructive) post, consider offering your opinion of the game, refuting the OP's points in a collegial manner. Sarcasm without constructive dialogue may make readers wonder why you bothered to comment at all if you were not trying to foster discussion or add to the conversation.
  7. I am in a similar camp. I do not quite understand the love this expansion has gotten. I mean, it's great if other people enjoy it, but they did not improve or enhance the MMO aspect of the game (in fact, they hurt it by making most of the story solo-based.) What really irks me is I keep seeing that this is a return to "classic BioWare storytelling." That is an outright lie. I was never as bored in Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, Jade Empire, or Mass Effect as I was when playing through the story of "watch cut scene, choose dialogue that has no impact, fight face-roll packs of two or three, run down corridor with no area for exploration, watch another cut scene." If classic BioWare games did not have dialogue options that let you get around combat, impact the story to an extent that group members would turn on you, have areas with hidden quests and deep lore, I would not be interested. KOTFE has none of this. Also, it does the disservice of taking our established characters and treating them all the same. There is no way my bounty hunter would agree to lead some alliance if he weren't making some profit off of it, nor do I think my inquisitor would be thrown about by Arcann as easily as my smuggler. Darn shame. I have two 1-50 stories left to play, I can still enjoy those and not have to concern myself with this rather rubbish expansion story going on.
  8. Same issue, plus similar. First time I tried, I logged in but was stuck at 0% download for the world (couldn't log into any non-starter planet characters). Quit the game, tried again, then the Play button never allowed me to click. Closed and tried again, now when I hit "Play" the launcher just disappears and the game does not launch.
  9. But why the need to take out companions' unique abilities? It makes sense for someone who gained a new role to have generic abilities in that role, but why would you make the effort to diminish companion identity? Example: HK losing assassinate (which some may deem overpowered) feels like a huge misstep.
  10. I'd like to be able to use Rocket Boost effects as a mount (could still add a mount/dismount delay). Mainly saying this as a bounty hunter as my main has much cooler jet pack options than either the one released or datamined. While at it, should finally make a "Force user" animation for Rocket Boost that is just a really fast dash.
