  1. The Imperial "Final companions" are pretty bad, but in some cases that may be because they have other companions that are cool. SWs have Vette, SIs have Khem, Agents....OK, I didn't like any of the agents, but that is more than made up for by BLIZZ! I may be partial to Blizz. Pub side, Gus Tuno and Scourge are pretty cool last pets.
  2. Not sure this will be helpful or even read on page 3 (or 5! Popular thread!), but thought I'd share a story. I've always rolled on an RP server, no matter what game I played. Used to RP pretty heavy, too (did on this game till my guild left en masse and I stayed, but I digress). On WoW, I had a gnome named Kneenibbler. This name got reported, and this was back when Blizz DID enforce naming policy. So my name got reported, but it was a grey enough area apparently that they didn't just change it, they had a CSR talk to me. When asked if I had a valid RP reason for my name, like most RPers I was more than happy to share my RP story behind the name and character. For a little more than half an hour. With a CSR. In the end, he said I could keep the name, and as far as I know that little guy is still out there somewhere. Moral of the story; not all the "non RP names" are non RP names. Now, some of the ones here are pretty blatant... but don't unilateraly declare all who wear such names to be unfit for your server. And yes, I have a toon in this game with a "Non RP name." And even though I don't RP currently, I still made sure to have at least a brief backstory on why he wears it
  3. As a Smuggler, I feel that Return is the best
  4. Three troopers I could see...one BFGmando, one Healmando, and one Vanguard. But three Sentinels? Well, I'm just glad you're having fun
  5. Qui Gon is played by Liam Neeson. If you don't listen to Liam Neeson, bad things happen to you. Still say that was the point where episodes 1-3 went into the toilet. Annoying aliens I can understand. Liam Neeson losing a fight that Ewan McGregor could win? Sorry, too unrealistic
  6. Thanks for the update, Skotish. One of my guildmates got in on the last wave, but didn't say when he preordered it. It's almost as if he was suddenly busy doing....something. He must not be a Decemberist. No hesitation at all... Though, my guess is that many of us Decemberists will consider the waiting we've done to this point procrastination enough and get in the game sooner rather than later. My fingers hurt now. Maybe I'll type more later
  7. Dec 5th. Had to wait till then because my birthday was Dec 4th, and I asked for money to preorder. Thought about doing it Day 1, then said to myself, "Self, do you REALLY wanna spend money on a game you've never played, you can't ask anyone about cuz THEY'VE never played, and isn't even finished yet?" And my self said to me, "You so crazy." Hoping to get in tomorrow, cuz the wife will be gone and I have Thurs and Fri to just geek out. Also, the more time I get, the better; I have to go visit my inlaws for a week, and I need all the fun I can get, get all fortified. Honestly, I think a release date of Dec 20th was crazy, with so many people a) already having done their xmas shopping, and/or b) out of town. But que sara sara. If I can't get in till Saturday, I can't, and that's it.
  8. It makes sense if they don't want everyone who got in the first day to go to the same server, and therefore "Full" today is a number of players significantly less than it will be at launch
