I dislike the new system enough that is has killed the game for me. I could not care less about the Combat Styles system, not liking the removal of skills/abilities, not liking the new gear system, just feeling like the whole thing is underwhelming, unnecessary and unwanted. Oddly enough the UI is the one thing that doesn't bother me. I feel like I can identify things in the inventory easier and the icons stand out more. But I realize that this is not the case for a lot of people and I can understand that as well, I play on a 55" display so the UI changes may affect me differently than many players that use smaller displays. My sub is done in March and I've already uninstalled the game. Time to move on from this janky game that feels more like a platform for the Cartel Market than anything else.

This whole excuse for an "expansion" debacle is the nail in the coffin for me. Sub runs out in March and I'll be uninstalling Swtor.

You're not the only one to think this. It kinda feels that way when one starts thinking about hard enough. The engine isn't just old, they modified the crap out of it so that just makes things worse.

This same thing just happened to me yesterday. Logged on my main toon to find my Lightside rank was down to 70 points/rank one. I put in a ticket and the response was that they suspect it is associated with the bonus mission Ancient Prison Suppression from the Section X dailies. Also said they do not have an ETA on a fix yet.

Even the holo grind was short lived though as Sony decided replace the hologrind with a less random system when they started the Force village place with the quests to end up becoming a Jedi. Frankly becoming a Jedi in SWG felt a lot more rewarding than anything offered for this huge grindy event.

If there's one thing you can count on, it's the inconsistency of the RNG. I got two tunings out of one hypercrate. On Shadowlands there were 3 pages of tunings and the cheapest was around 15 million.

Didn't work for me, still stuck on Game Client 201.

The launcher is now stuck on installing Game Client 201. It sits there at 0% and doesn't do anything. It shows as open and running under Task Manager, but pausing and unpausing the install does nothing. Can't run the repair function because it is stuck at an install phase and can't even close the launcher using the X in the upper right, have to go into task manager to kill the launcher.

Got halfway through patching, stuck on Game Client 201 at 0%, also the client seems to get stuck or something and can't close it have to go into task manager and close it down that way. So yeah that's like half a fix...or something.

Actually there were two whole dev/community team posts this whole thread. One to say "send us your launcher logs" and another to say "thanks for the logs, we're looking into it". For whatever it's worth... I just settled for Bitraider for now and disable it after patching is done. Beats waiting for Bioware to perhaps fix this and then download it.
