  1. Overall, they did a good job with companions. Each companion have a unique story and they are integrated with the class story quite well. I think Companion Acquisition is good. Some of them had real lackluster acquisition, like Consular's reptile and Inquisitor's pirate. Khem Val and Scorpio had GREAT acquisition story and sequence. Ensign Temple was great too, and you didn't even have to fight her. Xalek acquisition was boring, but it was pretty unique and I wouldn't change it. Utterly disappointed with Companion Development. Skills just appear out of nowhere. No quests to unlock the skills or abilities, with unique moddable companion-equipment unlocks and rewards and appearance kits; no combat symbiosis as you spend time fighting alongside the same companion for a period of time; no companion-side interaction other than from a rigid affection point system; no evolution of character - story is vastly about their past and barely have anything to do with current events and results of your choices (other than affection point system); etc. After a while, I just think of my companions as "ranged DPS" or "healer" or "melee tank", etc. Story and Companions were the top two things that the Bioware-effect was supposed to groundbreakingly introduce to the MMO industry. They did a great job with Story, but I can't help but think they only developed the shell of the Companion system and left it gutted because they ran out of time/funding/interest. I really hope that EAWare decides to revamp the companion system one day. It would be great to go through a cutscene or quest that unlocks the grenade ability that Kaliyo gets, or getting a unique Khem Val appearance kit based on his old war he keeps yapping about, or send Elara away for training to unlock her DPS stance once I get friendly with Command, have certain comps acquire their own appropriately-themed familiars, give companions idle animations - right now they're disturbingly still and dead faced, have it possible for Lokin to mentor/unlock one of my heal abilities, for me to teach Ashara lightning, let me tether my mortar volley with Aric's mortar volley so it's always fired at the same time in the same general area when he's the active comp, etc.
  2. Male bodytype 3 is just some mickey mouse cartoon superhero manure, and that doesn't appeal to me, personally. I enjoy the more believable type 2. if I ever want to go around Zangeifing everyone, I'll be sure to choose type 3.
  3. They've already said that the way their system is set up, it's impossible to separate update times and it has to be global. Whether it's through incompetence or technical limitations is quite irrelevant to the results. It's fine to grieve for that and clamor for change. It's not fine when a minority group is shoving their problem into everybody's face, trying to gain sympathy from the majority. I'm not interested in your problem. Thread after thread, post after post, someone from that small group is trying to make everyone feel guilty about living in a North American time zone while playing a North American game. Stop emptying your rubbish in the common room. Take it up with management. Stop trying to bury our nose into your dog's poop; because it's not my fault, and I'm not going to be guilted into helping you clean it up.
  4. •Galactic Reputation is tied to your character’s Legacy, so enjoy earned Reputation Points and ranks across all characters in your Legacy! Wow way to fail basic reading comprehension; but I guess that's the norm nowadays. They couldn't spell it out any easier and people still misunderstand and hear only what they want to hear. Galactic Reputation points and progression is tied to all your Legacy characters. it has nothing else to do with Legacy or Legacy level, so far.
  5. You guys want to know something? To this very day, participating in online gaming for over a decade, I have NEVER played a non-US game and demand they conform to my US schedule. Yet, I see arrogant post after post demonizing game companies and US developed games because they don't conform to other countries' schedule. If you really think you're being ignored.....speak with your wallet and stop giving them money. They'll either pump more money to support their games better in your country, or pull the plug and stop spending resources to release their future games in your country in the first place. Either way, you need to understand that you are not the #1 customer base. FYI, as a Hawaii gamer, US downtimes are not the best for me in any game, but I live with it because Hawaii doesn't put out it's own games. Usually walking in the door at 7pm and then servers go down at 10pm. With this recent change it goes down at 12am here. Better!
  6. Here and here. The details on white imperial trooper helm is quite impressive, actually.
  7. Yeah DPS Ops are still around, but we can all fly to the Community Cantina Tour in one plane.
  8. Ops here. I make it a point to tango with snipers/slingers who are having too much fun.
  9. I found a room just brimming with Operative players who agrees with OP.
  10. Personally, I am loving the new look. If there were no advertised examples of the "fixed" version, chances are this is the original look of the trailblazer. Them changing trailblazer now only reinforces the notion that they will be adamant about sticking to their original designs on future products.
  11. There you go Dulfy! The changes are not temporary and are here to stay.

  13. lol that's kind of funny. Thanks for clarifying!
  14. Thank you for going out of the way to clear that up.
  15. If I could wear some speedos and go bare-chest throughout Hoth....shrinkage aside, I think that would be really awesome!
