Or at all in this game? Returning player from many years ago. I am enjoying all the new features and my beloved IA story line. Despite all the new stuff in the game, and there is a TON, im not sure how long I will be around again. The PvE is absolutely boring. I get making it easier for solo players and making this a lvling friendly game, but really? I did a solo Black Talon run, and not only did they assign a driod that never died to kill everything for me, they had healing stations by all the big fights? And not just one but multiple. I would have had to have had the ability to target myself to even approach losing half a health bar. When questing I try to pull 2 to 3 GROUPS of mobs just to have a fight last more than 20 seconds. Still never even get close to dying. Is there anything I can do to challenge myself in PvE?

I too am a 'beta' / 'launch' player who left due to the slow pace of the Class Storylines without remedial and constant xp farming. The new 12x xp that allows me to just focus on Class Storylines has me back and has me hooked. Currently playing to classes, switching between their stories, and really enjoying myself!!

^ This. I am a returning player and I have found the servers much more crowded than in the past. Plenty of people to play with. That being said I havent noticed any changes worth noting. At least not for the fist 3 planets. Also many of the flaws and missing polish since launch still exists. Which frustrates me. Still im having fun and hope to stick it out a bit longer this time.

You have ZERO idea what your talking about. Id say the "MAJORITY" is pretty damn happy with the game from what ive seen and heard. The title of your thread also negates any logical debate and automatically dismisses you as a voice of reason. When will you detractors learn that if you want to make a point or bring up issues with the game to stop being so damn dramatic with your thread titles. Resuscitate? Really? All that being said, its a shame because you have some good points and there are some things that I agree with in your list. However none of that is ground breaking stuff considering the game is in its infancy and has started out very strong.

Yet he continues to bump his own post claiming he is just trying to keep people informed of the CS policies of BW. What he is really doing is sitting back and watching people who dont even know what they are posting (because they didnt read the whole story) and laughing at the idiocy of people who keep dribble like this bumped up to 50+ pages. NOONE was banned for leveling slicing to 400, going to Ilum and farming nodes. The OP was banned (if he even was, that is still very much in doubt) for using opposite faction players to "flip" nodes to have them constantly respawn and provide unending bounty. The fact that coding, or game mechanics allows this exploit to happen (at the moment) does not make it right. What is even funnier than the people who are suckered in by the OP's lie about being banned for simply farming in a high level area, are the people who understand the OP was using an exploit and still believe its not his fault. Apparently if I go into Wells Fargo and my teller walks away for a minute to talk to a manager, and accidently leaves the till open, its ok for me to take the money. I mean theres a whole host of reasons why I can justify it right? 1- She should have been better trained. Not my fault she wasnt. 2- Wells Fargo should have implemented safety features to prevent this from having, not my fault they didnt. 3- I know its a bank, but hey money shouldnt be left withing reach of a customer! Not my fault the way they handle money is "broke". I mean christ I could go on and on. One of the biggest issues with the world today is as humans we seem to be getting to the point of being able to justify anything. Further noone takes responsibility for anything anymore. Sad. People like the OP who use unintended game mechanics (opposite faction players working together to achieve goals) to exploit the game for money, armor, xp etc..throw the entire balance of the game off and effect the rest of us in countless ways. But you go ahead and keep "excusing" his actions.

Google "SWtor Ilum Exploit" - and one of the first results is an MMO Cheats/Guides/Bots website forum debating the issue. This is the classic case of moronic people who thought they were being smart, getting caught for it, and pulling an angry german kid in the forums to get as many sugestionable people on their side as possible. They knew what they were doing, and gambled that nothing would happen to them, while they would exploit their characters to rise above and beyond the common legit player. Instead of bashing EA/Bioware for their swift action in banning these people - we should be praising the fact they have mechanics in place to stop this internet scum before it becomes a problem for us decent folks.

^^ Do you know how to read? Seriously? The exploit in question is when a group of people from the OPPOSITE FACTION escort a player to a node and then continually reset it so the low level OPPOSITE FACTION player can loot it. This goes against the nature of the game, is an unintended exploit (unintended as in BW did not intend for this to be manageable), and whether faulty mechanics allow it or not, it is against the ToS and therefore BW has every right to ban people for it. Im sorry if you dont agree. Im sure BW doesnt give a hoot. Geez some of you people are amazing. All this thread and the OP did, as was probably the intent, was open up a can of cry baby cry for the haters who troll these forums. NOONE has been banned for simply going to an area of the game not intended for their level, NOONE. If you say otherwise you are simply lying. Thanks.

They will still be here. The haters are mostly those who cant admit to anyone else their grown disdain for WoW, and having built their own un-realistic expectations for SWTOR (in hopes of saving them from their beloved, yet hated WoW), are now bitter because SWTOR did not make them feel like WoW did years ago before they lost the high. They are the same people who claim that a game as incredibly stable as SWTOR is at launch, with over a million online players, somehow: "failed" was "horrendous" or is "terrible". Yet those of us who have played many many MMO launches know the reality is that this launch has been about as smooth as we have ever seen. I know I know im going to get flamed as a "fanboi". Yet those who have read my posts going back to beta know the truth, and that truth is im as critical at times with BW/EA as I am complimentary. The game is pretty damn good. Long term, im not sure yet. But I have pretty big hopes already.

^^ Your joking right? I talked to friends of mine who played that game till 6 months ago and they said it STILL has hitching problems. I admit there is a little hitching in SWTOR (though they did improve it after Beta when I warned them it was going to be game breaking the way it was). But its not even close to as noticeable as it was in WAR. Also I still have to say that anyone who actually played on the first day of launch and up to almost a month after that doesnt remember server crashes, rollbacks, and broken pvp mechanics; either has a really bad memory, or didnt actually play the first month.
