  1. Rodians, period. I don't care about any other races. BioWare makes Rodians a playable species, I'm a subscriber for life!
  2. This has probably already been addressed in another thread, and if so, please forgive me. I tried to see if there was a thread for this already, but couldn't find it, if it existed. That said, why an ewok for a companion? First off, while I'm not a big fan of Ewoks in general, I'm not going to protest their inclusion as a companion. It's whatever, and I'll admit I'll probably get one on my Sith warrior so he can slap it around. Given all the other races that are in game, why not choose from one of those that would make more sense? Like Rodians, Nautalans, Mon Calamari (assuming none of these are already companions, I have no idea). And WHY would an Ewok even be off Endor? The BH Jawa I understand, Jawas are smart, they are used for the tech skills, they hang around space ports, why wouldn't one of them want to see where all those starships are going? I guess I'm just trying to reconcile some reason for an Ewok being loose in the galaxy at large, when the planet was depicted as having no cities aside from tree villages, and a tech level so low, they didn't even have rudimentary projectile weapons beyond MAYBE a bow.
  3. Why not just implement a gear check on the part of the players? That way, we personally can see where our gear stacks up and whether it meets the minimum gear requirements for that flashpoint? As someone who doesn't have a lot of time to play, I'll admit to being a little clueless on what I should be looking at when I'm trying to determine if I have the right gear or mod levels.
  4. I'm not sure what you mean by everyone looking the same. I actually see a lot of variety in people, and while I see some times the same gear on people, that's to be expected in an mmo, honestly. Though not as varied as SWG, at least it's miles better than WoW, and the latest patch adding adaptive gear gives things a wider spread, so I'm happy. Space, it's alright, but I wish I had more freedom. I've always had the notion that bioware was determined to have the "Star" in Star Wars, so they had to take a route that would get it in the game from the start. If it wasn't, it would have been a disaster, I think. They've said they have big plans for space, and I'm hoping that what we currently have is merely a place holder til things get settled and they can actually turn their attention to it. After all, this game isn't even a year old. Other than that, I like some of the other stuff you wrote. Definitely agree in not wanting to have to play the same story over and over to unlock some species. Although, I wish there had been SOME species restrictions. I honestly can't see Sith Pureblood going over to the Republic. But then, I'm still scratching my head as to why only smugglers can be Republic and bounty hunters Imperial. Those two groups have always been classically willing to work whichever side offers the most credits. I'd also love to see a special forces soldier Imp side ala the Trooper. Not sure why that wasn't done either.
