Quite simple - travelling to any planet other than Odessaan, Zakuul, Hutta, Korriban or Iokath result in a 100% crash to desktop.

My reaction is pretty simple - a patch that doesn't allow me to play not only the new content, but breaks even the base game is pure BS!

Not in WoW, you can't. You appear offline in battle.net, but as soon as you queue for something all of your friends get a message.

Yes, seems so. Just finished Iocath and Umbara story in ~2 hours. Back to WoW I guess.

I'm on the fence. Would like to play the Chiss story, but knowing how many things could go wrong, I'd probably have to wait a week or 2 before the game becomes playable.

As far as I see you don't have to win 3 pvp matches - just play them. I guess you can even be semi afk and watch some youtube video while doing it.

Depends on the point of view. Coming from WoW the statement seems absurd, but compared to 5.4, 5.3, etc in SWTOR it might be considered big.

Maybe, maybe not. My cynical side would consider the said "tease" to be just spreading false hopes in order to milk the game until dry. Even if they mean it, I still would be very sceptical about it actually happening - as far as I remember they intended to release a new operation by the end of this year.

I wouldn't count on it. To me it seems that the consolidation of us east coast and west coast servers is just a preparation for entering maintenance mode.

FFXIV. The gcd in it is 2.5s. Might not be exactly additional ping but has the same effect.
