So I've heard over and over again via forum search that Master Datacron does NOT complete the story, therefore you can start the story from scratch at level 70 to complete achievements/class buffs/etc. What if you use the Master Datacron, then use the ship terminal to skip to KoTFE and autocomplete the class story? Will you get the legacy buff? Will that translate to completing the class story for Legendary status in the character select screen? Somehow I gained the legacy buff from a class on a server I joined to end-game with some friends; I either did it by using either a Master Datacron and progressing to the expansion via terminal or by auto-completing with the Outlander Token as I hadn't manually even touched that story arc. Trying to figure out which one made it happen ..

People posting screenshots of 1-2 end game statistics and making it seem like that's evidence of something ... Why would any tank not gear towards DPS in the current state of PvP mitigation? There is zero reason. If they hamper their DPS and continue to not make defense relevant in PvP, which I can almost guarantee they'll do, its just going to be more of a Merc, Mara, Sniper show. Skank Tank isn't the problem, its been around for years. All of PvP is imbalanced, we have to live with it.

Crate grinding will drive you nuts. If you start from scratch it's basically 600 ranks to get everything 248 of the correct stat arrangement. Luckily by the time you start to do it on alts you will have a plethora of excess mods / attachments to set yourself up well. Still a +25% drop chance, at minimum, would feel much better.

Afternoon, I'm working on gearing up a lethality operative currently. Sitting at command rank ~250 with mostly crafted 246 enhancements, fully auged, with a gear rating of 244. I know that http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=847112 used to be the optimum gearing guide but it hasn't been updated for the "newfound" alacrity tier's. Currently I'm sitting at the highest tier of alacrity with approx. 1900 and the rest dumped into critical. I have zero mastery augs. My question; is the 1860 tier a must have for a DOT spreading discipline? Would I be better off going a different route? I did some minor testing by swapping all my Alacrity enhancements with Critical ones and Alacrity ended up doing around ~500 more dps on the dummy. I'm about to dump all my unassambled components on 248 gear and don't want to end up not optimized. Thank you

There is no reason why GCP rewards shouldn't be permanently doubled. Getting alts to rank 300 is a tedious task that yields diminishing returns.
