  1. Ah, I see! Thank you very much!
  2. Hello! I have been trying to work out where to assign my utility points and I am a little unsure as to how the sneaky utility works. It says it will increase movement speed by 15% but it does not seem to be doing so? Will that effect only work when I am stealthed perhaps? I have been trying to test when it works and doesn't but I always seem to be moving about the same speed from what I can tell? Additionally any advice on which of the second tier utilities might be would be very much appreciated! Thank you very much for your time!
  3. Excellent! I have been trying it out and I am having quite a bit of fun. The aesthetics of it are much nice than I thought as well! Thank you both very much!
  4. Hello! I have recently started playing this game once more and for the first time I have made a scoundrel. In the past however I have only played the Jedi and Sith classes and this time I find myself having a much more difficult time working out which of the specializations I should use. I am very bad with numbers and such, I keep trying to read all the abilities and such but they just swim before my eyes for the most part... The only things I really do in terms of combat are questing and casual PvP on occasion. Those big operation things or however they are known are not a concern to me nor is being the best at PvP or the like. If possible I would like to be able to get through quests in a quick enough manner and at least be somewhat effective in player versus player situations. Of the two damaging specializations I certainly prefer how the Ruffian abilities have greater range. They also prefer how they appear quite a bit more which does matter to me somewhat. However I wonder if perhaps it is much slower for doing quests? From what I recall a lot of damage over time specializations were quite a bit slower... I have never been that good at spreading them and such either. I can use them okay on single targets okay though! So I wonder if the Ruffian has enough other abilities to quickly dispatch of most normal enemies in quests? And if the Scrapper always has to be so close to the foe? Additionally I would really appreciate any other advice about how both feel to play! Thank you very much for your time!
  5. Oh! That is much much better than I thought! Thank you! I was thinking you would have to be half that distance for it to be useful....
  6. Ah okay! I did not realize that sorry. May I ask at what distance out it is wasteful to use the burst laser cannons? I am used to using the quad ones and I think I have began firing too early whilst trying out the burst ones.
  7. I see! Thank you both very much for the advice! I can certainly now see why they are recommended so highly! I am quite curious though if any of the others come close to comparing with them? I unlocked them and they seem quite fun to use but admittedly I have a sort of bias towards more generalist things. Given the choice I tend to prefer jack of all trade weapons and such. I know how often that leads to me having very lacking weapons though...
  8. Hello! I have just started playing the game again and as I was setting up ships for my new character everything I was reading suggested making use of the burst Laser cannons above all the alternatives. When I look at what all the cannons offer though it seems like a much less useful choice? I feel I must be missing something truly obvious.... If anyone could tell me what makes burst laser cannons so highly recommended and how they might compare to the quad or light laser cannons I have used in the past I would be very grateful!
  9. Hello! I was just wondering if anyone might know of any vibroswords that do not rest on a character's back when sheathed? Worn at the side, just becoming invisible or anything would really be fine if anyone knows of any! Thank you!
  10. I see! It is a most tricky choice it seems. May I ask what makes madness better for PvP? I do not doubt you are correct but knowing the reasons for it may help me to choose. I do not really mind which is better, just which is more exciting to play. ^__^
  11. Ah! Thank you very much for the information! ^__^
  12. Hello! I am trying to decide between being madness or lightning. I have been reading about them but all of what I can see is not so clear to me, having many numbers and names. I would really appreciate some information on what playing each of them is like as you gain more levels. Which is more mobile? Which has more survivability? Which has more fun things, skills being proced and such as opposed to just straight rotations? Thank you very much! ^__^

  14. Thank you very much for your input! That is very good to know because I was unsure whether or not the warrior got to be cunning / manipulative at any point. I know the plot of both storylines and I know most details of the inquisitor one so spoilers don't bother me.
