  1. That statement doesn't make any sense. So because its diffilcult to reach higher defense% you don't see a point? The point is that defense% increases your chance to completely avoid the damage all together, far more useful then absorbing it. There is a reason it takes more points in defense to raise your percentage then shield or absorb, it is because it is more useful. Now, one could definetily argue that it might not be worthwhile to stack defense after 24% because of the 6% you get from Blade Barricade and the diminishing returns of defense% after 30%, but that is a whole different arguement.
  2. People have told you this 3 times already. Making more forum posts isnt going to change it.
  3. It doesn't "steal" their threat, it simply sets your threat to whatever is necessary to pull the mob back onto you, so 1.3x(Level of threat of player at top of hate list). This works even if you are the player at the top of the hate list, so it could even be 1.3x(Your Threat). Using the word "steal" implies that it wipes the other persons threat, which we know isn't true.
  4. If you bothered to check your facts, you would know those sales numbers, the ones that looked so ominous, only counted BOX SALES. They didn't include digital downloads. Go ahead, prove me wrong.
  5. http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/EA/analystestimates?subview=snapshot&pg=analyst You'll notice there are 22 different analysts that submit ratings to market watch about EA. 21 of them suggest a Buy or Hold. 1 suggests a Sell. You'll also notice that 1 month ago, and 3 months ago, there were more analysts with a Sell rating. Thats before analysts had subscription or sales numbers. That would suggest he is isolated in his opinion, and people arent flocking to recommend people dump the stock. Also, its important to note he lowered the rating from OVERWEIGHT to BUY, not to SELL. This guy was trying to make waves. All he did was fool some people on an internet forum.
  6. You'd lose money on that bet. Themeparks make money, real or virtual. Unless you meant you think WoW is a sandbox, in which case, you have no idea what a sandbox MMO is.
  7. This thread is going to be awesome, I can already feel it.
  8. Probably should have done a bit more research. The open world PvP thing I can understand, it's hard to gauge that before launch. The linear world thing not so much. BW has never represented this game to be anything but a linear themepark. There is no other way to make the game they wanted to make. They didn't "forget" or "fail" to include this stuff, they made a design decision to leave it out. Sorry you didn't enjoy the game though.
  9. Then you better quit, because those aren't changing. This is not the game you were looking for.
  10. Bet you won't make that mistake again! #workingasintended
  11. Maybe it's because you are the type of person who creates forum threads with all capital letters in the title, so no one wants to hang out with you?
  12. Why would anyone expect something constructive from someone who decided to name themselves "CrotchGoblin"?
  13. Wow, another post with someone saying they think Chick-Fil-A should be open on Sundays. I couldn't agree more buddy.
